Let me tell you, that the more the pleasures of the body fade away, the greater to me is the pleasure and charm of conversation.
– Plato

According to Plato, Socrates was so relieved when his sex drive had diminished through age. Apparently he reckoned that finally he was free to think coherently, exercise reason alone, unencumbered by the thought of sex and love. He said he was sane at last after a long bout of madness.

Poor Socrates, he was always over thinking.
