Woke up and having a bad hair day?
Try adding a teaspoon of baking soda to your shampoo.
When to stop colouring grey hair?
When and why is totally up to you but as a guideline, when your hair is 80 percent grey then it might be better to surrender to the greys! 🙂
Dyed Hair Care:
Tips from Boots’ Health & Beauty Magazine
To keep your newly coloured hair in a vibrant and tip-top condition and the new hues to last longer here are some tips.
- Avoid daily or frequent hair washing as the water dilutes the pigments, thus the colour fades away faster. Instead invest in a dry shampoo to keep the hair clean or remove the oiliness.
- Do not use very hot water to wash your hair as it relaxes the hair pigment. Wash with cooling temperature of just warm.
- Now that the sun is out, wear a hat. The UVA & UVB from the sun cause the hair cuticle to be damaged and this in turn cause fading vibrancy of the hair.
