    • Zhang Nan as Lin Bei La
    • Zhao Yao Ke as Lisa

It is about an immortal looking for the boy/man of her dreams.

I have to admit that I am watching this drama because of Song Wei long.  But having just seen the first couple of episodes, I like the lead girl immediately.  She is strong and feisty and pretty.

Episode 1

The story started in France.

A billionaire who has a harem of wives dies leaving the bulk of his fortune to his daughter who had been banished in a remote island.

This legacy became a contention among the family especially to the current young wife who expected to get everything.

This young wife has a French lover.  Between them they arranged the murder of the daughter.

Episode 2

The assailants shoot the girl pointblank in the chest.  They took photo of her dying and sent it to the young wife.

The daughter had previously engaged the butler of her father.  He became very anxious when the girl did not come home.

He suspected foul play immediately as the signing of documents was about to happen.

Back in the forest, the dead girl started to come alive.  She found her mobile phone and called the butler to pick her up.

The butler was half aware of the secret as he was the father’s most trusted personnel. 🙂

The girl is actully badass.

She called the young wife for a talk.  Over dinner, she had it confirmed that her ‘death’ was the young wife’s machination.

With a gun, the daughter played Russian roulette with the frightened wife.  The girl made her promised not to do it again, not to touch her, come near her in the future.

Listening to this was the adopted son, Li Zhe.

The Endless Love (Chinese Drama) Review & Summary

AKA: You Coloured My World

Genre: Romance, Art, Psychological, Youth

Date Released: 2017

CDrama: 32 episodes, each lasting around 45 minutes

  • An Yue Xi as Lu You Yan
  • Chen Ruo Xuan as Gu Ye Bai
  • Wei Miles as Wei Zi Jian
  • Luo Yu Tong as Zhou Huai An
  • Wang Jing Yan as Gong Ze Jing
  • Wang Ling Yu as Su San

Apparently this story will revolved around Gu Ye Bai, a young talented artist, who had an accident which made him lose his ability to see the world in colour.

This happened during a rather difficult and complicated time, when he was about to compete in an International painting contest.

The presence of an innocent and cheerful girl will help him overcome his condition which is inherently psychological.

Looking forward to this drama as it stars An Ye Xi of Tornado Girl 2.  Hope all the episodes are now subbed!  🙂  One can only hope!

Episode 1

Ge Ye Bai is recuperating from stress and psychological trauma.  He had an accident 11 years ago, which caused him to have psychogenic colour blindness, which is of course fatal to an art student future career

Rakshasa Street (Chinese Drama Review & Summary)

Rakshasa Street (Chinese Drama Review & Summary)

  • Genre: Sci Fi, Fantasy, Action,
  • Year Release: August 2017
  • Network: Youku

  • Wang Jiro as Cao Yan Bing
  • An Yue Xi as Xia Ling

As we are leaning more into the idea that our universe is not really alone, well this fantasy drama, it hypothesises that there is another universe which has a backdoor connected to our own universe.

This backdoor is the Rakshasa Street (or Requiem Street), which is guarded by Cao Yan Bing, who is the fire guardian as well as the Suppressing Spirit General of Rakshasa Street.  He has a very demanding job because Rakshasa Street also leads directly to hell.  And it seemed all hell broke loose as the street is also home to ghost, spirits, evil spirits, phantoms and guardian spirits.

Xia Ling is a newly university graduate and works as an intern in a large company.  On her way home one day, the bus she was in entered into a mysterious tunnel and plummeted into an abyss of darkness.  A gorgeous guardian spirit plucked her out of the falling bus and delivered her to safety.

The next thing was that some ghoulish creatures, like from Power Rangers 🙂 came to collect the bodies of the dead people from the bus.

Xia Ling was helping a little girl escape when the ghouls noticed her.  She was cornered and awaiting her death when Cao Yan Bing with his silver bat (a la Lucille of Walking Dead) came to her rescue.

The next thing Xia Ling knew was waking up in the hospital.
