Episode 1
Qiao An and Ni Hao are now both 27 years old and as a young star that Qiao An manages reckoned that if a woman of 27 had not attained her goal in life then she will never going to do it because she is passed her sell-by date. 🙁
Apparently, there was an urban legend that if a rock star attained early popularity and then waned soon after, they tend to commit suicide by the age of 27.
Qiao An was annoyed with her petulant charge who had disappeared for giving interviews about girls at 27.
Ni Hao, however, was more affected by the ‘age’. At 27, she was struggling to get her novel/script accepted for publication. Her baby ‘Heartbreak Club’ was turned down by everyone not because the story was bad but because she was plain and ‘old’ and would not sell to younger consumers of idol stories.
Ni Hao was in despair, her life as an author was over until Qiao An suddenly appeared and said that Ni Hao was going to come to a lot of money.
Qian An was just driving away with Ni Hao when Yuanyang arrived.
Episode 2
Qian An got herself an investor for the Heartbreak Club. But during an award ceremony where the main winner was Yuanyang was the winner, he announced that their next big project will be the Heartbreak Club.
Qian An lost her investor instantly.
Qian An knew that Ni Hao’s Heartbreak Club’s copyright which was owned by Ollies will expire soon and she had Ni Hao signed a contract with her.
Unfortunately, the investor would not listen to her for embarrassing him.
And now Yuanyang was on his way to see Ni Hao, who was absolutely scared of Yuanyang.
Episode 3
Ni Hao was being courted by Yuanyang to jump ship over to Ollis rather than stay with Qian An, who was underpaying her for her services.
He showed her all kinds of fringe benefits and Ni Hao started to get swayed.
Will she sign the contract with Ollis?
Meanwhile, Qian An sold her house to finance the Heartbreak Club. She moved into the company. It seemed her most loyal friend was still Qi Fei who had been dating Ni Hao for the longest time.
I really love this drama. I just hope all the episodes were subbed in English!
