Episode 1

There was a press release that this first episode is rated 19 well it started with a death.  But not sure who it was yet.  The death was just after the announcement of the winner of the Cheong A foundation operatic singing contest.

I missed this quirky drama so much, I am watching it without subtitles yet.

This drama is two years after, the first season.

It looks like Seo Jin had become a really operatic diva.  She was in the US giving a three-night concert which she ended by sleeping with her ex-husband after telling Dan Tae over the phone that she loves him.

The ex-husband was still asleep when she left the next morning.  He was woken up by goons who proceeded to beat him up and threw him into a quay.

Plenty of things had happened.  We all know that Yoon Hee did not really die.  She had been looking after her daughter from afar.

Her daughter is living a miserable life, going to a new school and still being bullied because her mother is a murderer.

Yang Mi Ok died.  She left a note saying that if she gets killed, it would have been Dan Tae who had done it.  Yang Mi Ok, the housekeeper was obsessed with Dan Tae.  But who did really kill her?  Was it Yoon Hee and Logan Lee?

Dan Te was arrested during a romantic marriage proposal to Seo Jin.  But he was let out for lack of evidence.

Eun Byul is a different girl, stronger and more cunning but scarier with her glaring convulse eyes.

Je Ni would sometimes secretly see if Ro Na was ok. She would leave her sandwiches.

Seok Hoon also secretly would go find Ro Na.  The actor, Kim Young Dae, seemed rather out of place of this drama.  He is now a much bigger star with a so-so role in here.

The drama ended with an alfresco wedding for Seo Jin and Dan Te.  It was romantic until a helicopter came and blew the decorations, the people and the bride and groom.

When the helicopter landed, out came Ha Yoon Cheol with his new bride, Yoon Hee.

Seo Jin was absolutely shocked because she realised that she was missing Yoon Cheol because he was a good shag.  LOL

Episode 2

With Edith Piaf in the background belting out Non, Je ne regrette rien, the helicopter did its worst at the engagement party of Seo Jin and Dan Tae.

Yoon Cheol and Yoon Hee were told that they were not invited but they did not really care because they have already done what they came for.

Dan Tae feels that he does not have Seo Jin’s full attention as she was obsessing on Yoon Cheol and Yoon Hee so he arranged a romantic evening for them which went wrong immediately leaving them both as nervous wrecks when a bird flew directly into their glass window leaving a trail of blood and feathers.  Then the phone rang and it was Kang Ma Ri telling Seo Jin that she just found out who the new owners of room 4502.  It was Yoon Hee and Yoon Cheol.

Yoon Cheol turned out to be the CEO of an up-and-coming JohnBio.

There was a cute cameo of Lee Sang Woo, Kim So Yeon’s real-life husband.  He played a reporter who was rather unimpressed with her after she failed to reach the high notes of her aria.

Eun Byeol went ballistic when she saw photos of her father and Yoon Hee being carried up to the 45th floor of Hera Palace.

Her father tried to reassure his daughter but she was being mental and can’t blame her really.

Poor Je Ni is being bullied at school because of her secret friendship with Ro Na.

Dan Tae seemed not to be having his own way all the time.  He was beaten up by Yoon Cheol, who seemed to have upped his martial art.

Then Seo Jin was not very impressed with him as he allowed Yoon Hee and Yoon Cheol to move in to Hera Palace.

Seo Jin was going to give a series of concerts but her throat can’t take it anymore.  So she hired an unknown soprano to sing in the background while she lip-synchs.

During the concert, she was worried because her background singer was so impressive which can reach higher notes than Seo Jin ever could.

She went to see the singer and to her surprise, it was Yoon Hee, who said that they will be partners from then on.

Shock!!!

Episode 3

Yoon Hee had the upper hand most of the time in this episode over Seo Jin.

In fact, Yoo Hee told Seo Jin that she will not reveal that Seo Jin could not possibly sing the High F because she can’t manage it.  The condition was that Seo Jin must retire from her position and from the school.

Then enter her daughter who immediately begged Seo Jin to readmit her at the school.  She would do anything Seo Jin ask her to.

Seo Jin told Rona in front of Yoon that her mother must sign a letter that she will not make any trouble whatsoever.

I love Seo Jin was she was at her evilest!  LOL

Episode 4

Rona was back at school and she had to suffer the most heinous bullying from Seok Kyung and Eun Byeol and from Je Ni to a certain extent.

This episode is once again full of violence.

It really got so bad that even Je Ni could not take it anymore and confessed all to her mother who absolutely went ballistic.

Episode 5

She told Joo Dan Tae that her husband went to prison for him.  Dan Tae’s secret was so heinous he bribed the Kangs with an apartment at the Hera Palace.

But Mari said that her husband and she agreed to all the conditions Dan Tae made to them so they could give Je NI the best possible start in life.  But her being bullied completely negates everything.

It was the operatic contest and it was pretty tense as all the contestants were after the grand prize and an automatic pass to Seoul University.

Seok Kyung found the video of Seo Jin running away from her dying father from Eun Byeol’s phone.

Seok Kyung used this to blackmail Seo Jin into announcing that she won over the name on the card.

Seo Jin was in quandary but in the end she announced that Bae Ro Na won.

Episode 6

What a shocker of an episode.

Everyone was waiting for Ro Na to accept her award but instead Mr Park, the security guard came rushing in all perturbed because of a body by the steps of the school.

It was Ro Na all bloodied and unconscious after Eun Byeaol hit her the trophy Seo Jin used to slash Hoon Yee’s neck many years ago.

Seo Jin found out about her daughter’s crime but immediately covered it up with the help of Yoon Cheol.

Ro Na was in a pretty bad way and almost had a cardiac arrest but eventually save but the doctor said that she would be likely to be brain-damaged.

Seo Jin becoming as deranged as her daughter and begged her ex-husband to help their daughter because if their daughter goes down, her life is also over.  She said that only if Ro Na does not wake up that they could save Eun Byeol.  So Yoon Cheol must kill Rona otherwise Seo Jin will do it.

In the meantime, the kindly Mr Park, the security guard confessed that he killed Ro Na because she was being unbearably rude and snooty.

And then someone secretly went to Ro Na’s hospital room and disconnected her oxygen.  I think the man is Logan Lee, the same gait and passion of stretch jeans. LOL

Then a few days later, Yoon Hee was crying over Ro Na’s gave asking for forgiveness.  She said she will be with her soon as she tried to swallow a handful of sleeping pills.  Logan Lee was just in time to tell her off.  They had not carried out their revenge yet.  He then told her that Mr Park was not the killer, it was Ha Eun Byeol.

Then one afternoon in the top floor of Hera Palace walked in a badass woman, who then stopped and posed in her boots and leather jacket.

And that’s how Joo Dan Tae found her.  He asked who she was and then she turned around and she was the double of Soo Ryeon.

Dan Tae seemed not overly perturbed as the woman walked towards him and snogged his face.

Is this woman the mother of the twins?  Was Dan Tae so obsessed with Soo Ryeon that he made the woman have a plastic surgery before he slept with her and be a mother to the twins?

Episode 7

Soo Ryeon’s doppelganger is the twin’s biological mother, Na Ae Gyo. Joo Dan Tae could tell that it was Na Ae Gyo from the butterfly tattoo she had at the top of her left shoulder.

It was Ro Na funeral and Yoon Hee was all alone at her gravesite as Yoon Cheul immediately went back to be with Eun Byeol who was going crazy.  She can see the bloodied Ro Na everywhere she looked.

Poor Seo Jin did not know what to do.

Yoon Hee was about to take a handful of sleeping pills at the gravesite to be with her daughter when Logn Lee stopped her.  Telling her that he did not allow her to live to then take her own life.

To make her fight on, he told her that Rona was killed by Eun Byeol.

Logan told her that they could bring down Dan Tae by looking for Na Ae Gyo.  Logan then produced a photo of Na Ae Gyo which surprised Yoon Hee from the resemblance with Soo Ryeon.

Logan said that Na Ae Gyo contacted him before ready to give all the dirt against Dan Tae but she then suddenly disappeared.

Seo Jin begged Yoon Cheoul to start over with her and Eun Byeol, she promised that they will be happy together this time around.

Yoon Cheol at what she said.  He told them then no matter what they could never be happy after everything that had happened.

Anyway, Yoon Cheol felt guilty for Eun Byeol and had given her an experimental drug to remove some of her memory.

When Eun Byeol woke up she did not remember what happened during the day of the contest and that Ro Na was dead.

Seo Jin was surprised how Eun Byeol is calmer.

Seok Kyung told Seok Yoon that she knew who killed Rona.  He could not believe how proud his sister was after admitting that she incited Eun Byeol to kill Rona.

Anyway, he decided to revenge Ro Na himself and the first thing he did was to tell Eun Byeol that she had become so fanciable he wanted to date her.

Eun Byeol was so happy for her dream come true.

Meanwhile, Yoon Hee called Seo Jin to talk.

Seo Jin was currently beleaguered with rumours that she concert by ghosted by another soprano and was so scared that Yoon Hee would confirm the rumour.

She ended up begging Yoon Hee to protect Eun Byeol at least.  The price was Seo Jin retires from singing and her shares at the music corp were transferred to Yoon Hee.

Seo Jin agreed.  She was defeated and taking her dejection in drink.  She started drinking wine from the bottle itself when Yoon Cheol found her.  He started to feel her sorrow and thought he could never go back to Yoon Hee anymore.

Yoon Hee was busy.  She was trying to find the secret of Dan Tae from tresspassing in his study and going to the secret room of the study which led to the carpark.

She came face to face with Nam Ae Gyo.

Episode 8

Yoon Hee met Nam Ae Gyo, who did not want to know her.  But Yoon Hee managed to put a voice tracker on Nam Ae Gyo’s phone.  She contacted Logan about it immediately.

Yoon Chul begged Yoon Hee to stop what they were doing.  He doesn’t have the taste for revenge anymore.  The more he carried out his revenge against Seo Jin the more he realised that he was still in love with Seo Jin.  All the feelings for her were creeping up.

Yoon Hee reminded him about how she brought him back from the brink when he was broken and battered in America because of Seo Jin.

Still, he remained stalwart in his decision to divorce.

Seo Jin, however, was harassed by the press about the revelation that she had a voice double in her concert.  Her mother was also calling for an urgent board meeting to remove her from being the CEO.  She then found out that Joo Dan Tae knew everything and had failed to cover her back.

As Ro Na was officially declared as dead at the school, her prize for winning the award was passed to Seok Kyung which is a place at Seoul National University.

Meanwhile, Seok Hoon was missing Ro Na so much.  He was now trying to get close to Eun Byul to get to the truth.

Joo Dan Tae saw and overheard Seo Jin telling Yoon Chul that she will break her engagement to Dan Tae.

But Dan Tae was a few steps ahead. He used Seo Jin’s Achilles heel which was her daughter.  He blackmailed her that he will send Eun Byeol to jail.

Seo Jin then had no choice but to go ahead with the planned marriage.  Invitations were immediately sent out.

Hoon Chul tried to contact Seo Jin but she decided to do her ultimate sacrifice and it was a sacrifice as Dan Tae was putting her through various tortures like trying on countless wedding dresses.

As always each episode ends in a rather spectacular way and this time, Logan was able to rescue Na Ae Gyo from Dan Te, who was strangling her.

Logan loaded Na Ae Gyo into the waiting car driven by Oh Yoon Hee.

Logan said that Na Ae Gyo was not breathing.

Episode 13

What an explosive ending to this series, literally! Logan was caught in an exploding car to save the love his life.
