Gao Yang is Gao Bao’s spoilt rebellion son who one day came home to see a transfer student to his class cooking at his house.  Gao Bao told him to treat Xiao Wen as his real brother from now on.

Snippets

Episode 1

The first episode is very noisy and hectic.

Gao Bao and Gao Yang were in the police station being interviewed about the incident.  The police asked what their relationship was.

Gao Bao said that the seventeen-year-old Gao Yang is his son.

Gao Yang however refuted this declaration saying that had nothing to do with the man.  For one thing, he is too good-looking to be the man’s son.

The long-suffering policeman asked them to tell what happened from the beginning.

Gao Yang was on a train bound for Beijing when Gao Bao found him.  Gao Bao chased his son all over the carriages.  Gao Yang fell against a seat arm and got himself a big bruise on the face.

Anyway, they were both cleared.

Gao Bao asked his son why he wanted to go to Beijing, was it perhaps to search for his mother?

Gao Bao had been looking after Gao Yang singlehandedly and rather spoiled him.  The boy refused to call him ‘Dad’ but rather ‘brother’.

Gao Yang said he was going to Beijing to look for Wan Jing, the school beauty who transferred to Beijing.  He asked Gao Bao how he found out about going to Beijing.

Gao Bao did not say anything but Gao Yang knew the next day because his childhood friend Beibei blurted that she told Gao Bao about Gao Yang going to Beijing.

Beibei was talking to her classmates and mentioned that they are going to get a new classmate.  She heard that she is a real beauty.

Gao Yang was interested and asked for the name of the new classmate.  My classmate is Ye Xiaowen.

The whole class was agog with excitement to meet the classmate.  But who turned up was a tall handsome guy who was rather monosyllabic.

The beauty was in Section 2.

They got to see the beauty though because she was already acquainted with Xiaowen.

During a break time, Xiaowen met up with the beauty, Mi Jia.  Mi Jia asked Xiaowen if he had told them much about where they came from?  Also, she was curious about Gao Yang.

Despite, Xiaowen not saying much, he was already popular in class.

Gao Yang was disappointed with Beibei when she said Xiaowen seemed nice.

Gao Yang went home and he hollered to his father to get the pot noodle.  As he went to the kitchen, he was told by Xiaowen to get ready for dinner.

Gao Yang was shocked.

Episode 2

Gao Bao said that  Xiaowen will be staying with them.  Xiaowen is the son of his friend.

Gao Bao was going on a business trip and left Xiaowen to look after Gao Yang which only annoyed Gao Yang because he said why would Xiaowen look after him on his own house?

The two did not get on well and tried to annoy each other.

Episode 3

Xiaowen found out that there is a student who was not happy with Gao Bao but take it out on Gao Yang.  Xiaowen was very concerned about it and rather protective of Gao Yang.

But Mi Jia smacked Dong Dawei first.

Episode 4

Xiaowen is trying to protect Gao Yang as much as possible, including sewing Gao Yang’s ripped trousers.

Gao Yang is beginning to get used to Xiaowen.

Episode 5

Beibei overheard her father, the high school principal, telling her mother that Xiaowen is Gao Bao’s son.

Beibei immediately tried to tell Gao Yang but the principal told her not to breathe a word.

So she wrote it in a note instead and Xiaowen found it.

Gao Bao, however, confidentially told Gao Yang that Xiaowen is an orphan and the son of his friends who passed away when Xiaowen was only 5 years old.

Episode 6

Gao Bao was so moved he became kinder to Xiaowen.
