Quick Precis

Qian Wei works as an assistant to Lawyer Lu Xun.  They have a strained relationship.  By accident, Qian Wei went back to the time when she was 18 and got to know her boss all over again.

Episode 1

It is a case of Love At First Episode for me.  Really love it.  I love the poignancy of Qian Wei’s relationship with her father who went to Tibet and bought a ring that was apparently can make you restart your life after twisting it on your finger a few times.  Her father had passed away.

Anyway, Qian Wei is a 28 years woman who works as a paralegal to Lu Xun.

Lu Xun was her nemesis even in college.

When Qian Wei was in college, she was awarded 10,000 as a first awardee scholar but then Lu Xun told her to move away from the podium because he won 30,000 for the grand prize.

They were always like cats and dogs but somehow she ended up working for him.  It did not start immediately after college.

She actually had a legal company with her boyfriend, Chong Wen.  They called their legal office as Chong&Wei.  Sadly, their office had to close down while Chong Wen went abroad.

Unfortunately, Qian Wei had not passed the National Board or Bar Exam so she ended up being a lowly paralegal of Lu Xun.

She suffered his mercurial behaviour but he does care for her in his own way.

Despite leaving for abroad, Chong Wen and Qian Wei continued a LDR.

Qian Wei counted the days that Chong-Wen comes back.  And then, it was the day and he invited her to a posh ceremony where he was being promoted to directorship of the Legal Department of AES.

She noticed that when someone asked who she was, Chong Wen did not introduce her as his girlfriend, instead, he said that she was his guest.

Anyway, during the ceremony, Lu Xun turned up.  Lu Xun with Qian Wei became the centre of attention because the CEO said that if LuXun apologised on behalf of Morris then Roumie (AES’s client) might think about not suing Morris.

Lu Xun told everyone that Roumie was known for plagiarising and was quite proud of it.  He then took Qian Wei with him to leave.

Chongwen was annoyed with the CEO, he reminded her that she cannot involve Qian Wei with anything.  He then followed Qian Wei and Lu Xun out.

Chongwen and Qian Wei officially broke up after Qian Wei realised that the last two years that Chongwen had been calling her from abroad diligently was not because he missed her but to get information about Morris.  Never once that he mentioned that his company was representing Roumie.  So he used her for information.

Qian Wei went back to the office to lock in their evidence against Roumie but Lawyer Wei from their office stole the documents.

Qian Wei was blamed but Lu Xun said that he knew her and would not steal anything.

But having lost her credibility at work, Qian Wei willingly resigned and told Lu Xun to find a better paralegal.

Episode 2

Despite having resigned from her job, Lu Xun kept turning up to see her.  He asked her why she can’t passed the National Board?  Was it because of her father?

Qian Wei remembered that she was about to take the judicial exam but her father collapsed and taken to hospital on the same day, so she had to abandon the exam and ever since, no matter how much she studied, she can’t pass the exam.

But then she was walkng backwards when she fell into a manhole straight into a lake.  Her ring then fell off her finger and she had to swam for it.  When she caught it, she woke up in the middle of exam in 2011.  When she was in uni.

At first, she thought it was an elaborate prank as her classmates she know were all there.  She quickly realised that she made may have a restart so she quickly finished her exam with relish.  She thought she will show Lu Xun that she was not his second no more.

She also realised that her father was alive and she was ecstatic about it.  When she saw him, she was like a little child all over her father and would not let him go.

Lu Xun came to get her for the ceremony but she would not leave her father.  She said she had a dream that her father had anemia and must get a check-up.  Her parents ignored her worries but she told them some more of her dreams and where her father was hiding his money and what he bought for her mother for her birthday.  So they believed.

Lu Xun however said that the ceremony would take five minutes and his mother was a doctor and he would refer her father to his mother.

Still, Qiao Wen refused to go so Lu Xun had to pick her up in his arms.  I think, he had always a crush on her.

Anyway, afterwards, Lu Xun came with them to the hospital and waited for her father to have his test.  It was normal but then Qiao Wen said that her father had to retire from work and relax.  Her mother agreed and convince her husband.

Qian Wei also met Chongwei.  He is so lovely, he is their senior in college.

Lu Xun found Qian Wei beating Chongwei up .

Qian Wei was telling Chongwei to keep away from her;  never to talk with her or look at her.

Lu Xun told her off for hurting their senior.

Episode 3

It is really entertaining.

Anyway, Qian Wen is determined to have the life of Lu Xun.  She was going to best him in everything which she finds is fairly easy as she had lived through the years and knew him pretty well.

She was become popular and absolutely enjoyed her fame of being the prophet.  She can tell everything before it happened so she was able to have a knicker thief get arrested before he fully spread fear among the female students.

Then she learned of a secret she did not pay attention before.

The reason why Lu Xun went to study at their university was apparently because of his childhood sweetheart, Mo Zi Xin, who happens to be her roommate with Liu Shi Yu.

So heard Lu Xun telling her before about a hole in one’s heart when your beloved is not around.  So she thought, Lu Xun was talking about Mo Zi Xin and that was the reason he had never had a relationship in the past eleven years (from the future).

But it looks like Lu Xun actually quite like Qian Wen.

Qian Wen went for an interview to join the debating team, the captain was Chongwei and the mentor was Professor Zhang who was impressed by Qian Wen.

Episode 4

Chong Wei was trying to get close with Qian Wen but she was doing everything to rebuff him.

Lu Xun also wanted to get close to her but Chongwei was always there.

Anyway, Qian Wen found out that her father had not retired from work and then also heard the appalling state of the work area.

Qian Wen convinced Lu Xun to pretend as a lawyer and visit the factory where her dad works.  They took photos but the security guard apprehended them and then the boss came.

The boss did not believe that they were lawyers because they looked so young.  He called a real attorney who happened to know Lu Xun’s father who was a judge so he did not give the game away.

They were safe and made the company boss to make the factory more employee-friendly.

Meanwhile, while they were cutting class, poor Liu Shiyun had to take attendance for them but the professor was suspicious.  Liu Shiyun pretended that she was ill and ended up being taken to the infirmary where she saw a young doctor, with who she fell in love at first sight.

Episode 5

Liu Shiyun was chasing the young doctor but she kept running into Qian Chuan, Qian Wen’s brother.

Qian Chuan has a crush on Mo Zi Xin so he told Shiyun to work together.

He will help her with the doctor while Shiyun should tell him wherever Mo Zi Xin were.

Meanwhile, Chongwen was chasing Qian Wen.

Qian Wen felt a bit sorry about him because she knew he comes from a poor family and had to have part time jobs to pay for his upkeep, tuition and debts incurred by his father.

Anyway, he was really into her but she was trying to change their timeline and she console herself that as soon as he finds a billionaire in the future, she will out of the equation.

Qian Wen was match-making Lu Xun with Zi Xin.  She was convinced that he had a crush of Zi Xin because he even changed his computer name to ZX being a combination of his first name and Zi Xin.

But in reality, he can’t remember why he changed his name to ZX.  He thought it was just a mistype.

Episode 6

Song Zuer is just the most adorable actress.  Her chemistry with Zitao is off the scale.  They are just too cute together.

They had their first kiss!  They were on the stage being commended when he accidentally kissed her and was caught on camera.

Anyway, Chongwen, despite rebuff after rebuff, still tried to get closer with Qian Wen.

She told him that in eleven years’ time he will choose over love and even justice so she doesn’t want to be with him.

Meanwhile, she was doing everything to throw Luxun and Zixin together.  She even gave LuXun a crash course on romance and how to woo a girl.

Episode 7

Zixin came back to the dorm all sad and forlorn.

Luxun then texted Qian Wen that he failed.

Luxun and Qian Wen met up the next day to talk about where he went wrong because she taught him foolproof dating techniques.

But Luxun pretended to look so sad and defeated so Qian Wen cheered him up by going on a date with him to the prearranged activities he was supposed to go to with Zixin.

The Law Department had a trip with Chongwen and Qian Wei as the monitor.

Qian Wen remembered that Chongwen accidentally kissed her when they were in a paddling boat.  Fearful of a repeat, Qian Wen pushed Chongwen when it was likely to happen again.

Chongwen almost drowned and he had to be given a CPR

Luxun would not allow Qian Wen to give Chongwen the kiss of life.  So he gave the mouth to mouth himself which traumatised him so much.

Episode 8

Amongst fireflies and fields of flowers, Shiyun confessed to her doctor crush who was also a law student🤣.  Anyway, Tyo said that he also likes Shiyun as he kissed her tenderly on her forehead.

Next, Qian Yuan, who is not supposed to be there as he majors in Physical Education, but being a brother of the popular Qian Wen was allowed to the trip without his sister’s knowledge.  Anyway, as the fireflies and flowers worked with Shiyun and her doctor/lawyer, he tried his luck with ZiXin.

Zixin turned him down.  She only wanted to be friends.

Back to school.

As part of their course, they had to do a community outreach where they provide advice to the community.

It was well attended but the people congregated on the male law students and Qian Wen was left twiddling her thumbs.

Seeing that she was not so happy being idle, Chongwen told the people queueing to speak to him that Qian Wen was one of the best in their class and she was a class monitor.

Suddenly she was inundated with requests for advice and she can’t help feeling grateful to Chongwen.

Episode 9

Qian Wen saw a difference to Chongwen.  Because he came from a poor background, he wanted to have fame and fortune and he did not really care he gets it.

But he is being influenced by Qian Wen’s idealism.

Because of it, Qian Wen is beginning to look at him in a different light.

Meanwhile, LuXun told Qian Wen to remember that adults are like children too, the say something that is really contrary to what they are thinking.

Interesting.

It means all the teasing and fights and sometimes occasional harsh words should not be taken seriously.

Episode 10

Qian Wen worst nightmare was coming true, her father was diagnosed with Leukemia.  Her mother and brother were in bits so Qian Wen had to be strong.

She told them that she had another dream and that her father got well and lived a long life seeing Qian Wen becoming a successful and well-respected lawyer.

She had a look at the diagnosis and saw that it was an early stage and with bone marrow transplant his father’s overcoming the illness is great.

Behind the scene, Qian Wen was losing it and her friends rallied around to support her.

Shiyun and ZiXin packed her clothes and books and promised to take lecture notes religiously for her.

Chongwen went to the hospital early so he could queue for Qian Wen so her father could get his scan.

Meanwhile, it was Luxun who arranged for her father to be admitted immediately.

His mother was only to happy to do it because she was excited for her son to get a girlfriend and give her grandchildren.

LuXun was not upset being teased by his mother while he was cooking porridge for Qian Wen’s family.

Episode 11

LuXun had become a fixture at the hospital bed of Qian Wei’s father.  He cheered the family.  Qian Wei’s father teases her that LuXun is her boyfriend and LuXun was loving it.

It made him decide to confess to Qian Wei before the coming Doomsday.

Unfortunately, Chong Wen was father than him.  He saw a photo taken of Cheng Wen confessing to Qian Wei.

Immediately all his bravado was gone.

Qian Wei refused Chong Wen and explained to him that she loved him once upon a time in a parallel universe. She gave up her life and youth for him that he smashed it and she was not going to repeat that in this life.

Poor Chongwen can’t really understand what was really going on but he accepted that Qian Wei was not really into him, yet.

Anyway, Qian Wei noticed the lights at the footpath had been fixed and there was a billboard about her.  They she just saw LuXun leaving looking sad.

She realised that LuXun had done so much for her in the past and yet she did not notice them.

LuXun cheered up and he saw update on the photo, Qian Wei did not accept Chong Wei.

Episode 12

Qian Wei knew for sure that LuXun has a crush on her and this was making her feel awkward so she started avoiding him.

But he was not making it easy as he won’t take the hint.  He was so into her.

Even her father was telling her that LuXun would make for a good boyfriend.

LuXun’s parents were so chill, they were really interested in grandchildren.  LuXun’s father wanted another judge in the family while his mother wanted a doctor to follow in her footstepl

They finally saw Qian Wei when she and LuXun had a head to head debate.  They were so impressed with Qian Wei because she gives as good as she gets.  She was on par with LuXun.

Episode 13

LuXun more or less ended the debate by asking Qian Wei to be his girlfriend.  He then went to her and held her hand and did the love sign of her parents where they tap each other’s hand three times to mean ‘I Love You.’

Qian Wei tried everything to dissuade him from thinking that he was a boss and in this timeline, he was a young guy while she was already 28 years old.

LuXun however had made up his mind asked her to be his girlfriend.  He likes her and he thinks she likes him too.

Still, she told him that he likes Mo Zi Xin not too long ago.  Just because Zi Xin busted him, he can’t just transfer his affection to anyone else immediately.

Lu Xun said that he had never liked Mo Zi Xin, it has always and only her that he liked.

She found that she started liking him and caught her in a vulnerable situation when she realised that everything that he had given her, she tend to put it under her pillow.  So when he called that night, she was still thinking about it.

He came to see her and asked if she agrees to be his girlfriend.  He was so persuasive so she agreed.  He wanted to seal it with a kiss.  But everytime, they tried, they get interupted.  Even the weather interrupted; it started raining.

Qian Wei tried to get away telling him they might have to do it some other time but Lu Xun followed her and pulled her by the stairs where he kissed her.

He then asked if it was sweet.

Qian Wei said just so-so and started talking about kisses in the future.

LuXun was a bit frustrated so taking pity on him, she kissed him and he was so gratified.

He loves his new girlfriend.  He loved her so much he even knitted her a pair of gloves.

When he gave them to her, she said they were ugly and would have been better if he bought ones with better colours.  He wasn’t upset because he was used to her straightforward talking; it is the thing that he loves about her.

LuXun is a very jealous and rather controlling boyfriend but then Qiann Wei is no pushover so they seemed to match.

Shiyun was fed up of acting like a sweet gentle and submissive girl to her boyfriend so she decided to show her true self encouraged by ZiXin and Qian Wei.

Her boyfriend was not very impressed.

Episode 14

Shi Yun broke up with her boyfriend because he refused to eat river snail noodles despite begging him to.

Anyway, Shi Yun loved her river snail noodles so much, she took over a closing river snail restaurant.  She had her schoolmates as her first customers.

The law class has an environmental cleaning project where they had to clean the seaside for plastic.

Qian Wei was collecting bottle tops because there is currently a promotion found on the inside of the bottle top.

She was so engrossed with her task when LuXun turned up with a box full of bottle tops for her.  She was gobsmacked from his thoughtfulness, she allowed him to kiss her in front of their schoolmates who were cheering for them except a rather sad Zixin.

Later that evening she felt rather guilty when Shi Yun asked her to watch a drama about a girl who stole her friend’s husband.  She felt like she had done the same thing to Zixin.

Zixin is not the horrid vengeful girl.  She asked to have a word with Qian Wei and explained that she will stop liking Luxun.

Qian Wein was rather shocked,  She actually thought that it was Zixin who did not like Luxun rather than the other way around.

Zixin said that she had like Luxun the moment she saw him because he was so kind and friendly and gave her a crystal necklace on their first meeting when they were in high school.  She thought that he liked her too but he actually had a word with her to clear any misunderstanding that he like her.  He said he liked someone else and he does not like that girl he like misunderstanding that there is a relationship between Zixin and Luxun.

Zixin said that she knew LuXun really likes Qian Wei when she saw him painstakingly looking for bottle tops until he found a box-full.  Only someone devoted would do that and that was the moment she decided that she would stop liking him.

Zixin added that she will not give her blessing to Luxun and Qian Wei yet because she still has to sort out her own feelings.

Qian Wei was touched and said that she will always be her best friend.

Luxun and Qian Wei’s relationship was not always all kisses and holding hands although Luxun would like it that way.

Qian Wei found him to overpowering and domineering.  He started a website for them both about giving pro-bono legal advice to the less than well off and to those who do not know much about the law.

Qian Wei said that websites will be passe´ in no time, it was better to develop mobile apps (mentality from 2021-2022).

Luxun would not listen because he thought she was talking about one of her crazy ideas again.

This made Qian Wei so annoyed and told him that he develops the website while she will look for sponsors for mobile apps.

She would not talk to him but then he was so adorable.

Meanwhile, Li Chongwen was having a bit of a mental breakdown

Episode 15

Luxun was really upset with Qian Wei, so much so that they did not talk for several days and when they talk they would rather be awkward with each other or start to argue.

Which did not go well because they had to practice for the musical play of a. version of Journey To The West.

Episode 16

It was the day of the musical play. Qian Wei and Luxun are finally reconciled and doing a good job with the play.  But during the intermission, Qian Wei suddenly disappeared.

She went to meet an investor of her mobile apps.  The investor was bogus.

Luxun found out where she went and went after her.

Qian Wei can look after herself because Luxun found her tieing up the bogus investor who took her in a hotel room to discuss the investment.

Episode 17

Mo Tao, Zixin’s cousin stole Shiyun’s jade necklace.

Mao Tao was arrested by the police as there was CCTV evidence.  But Shiyun and Qian Wei decided to drop the case because they don’t want to drag Zixin into scandal of being talked about as the daughter of a rich businessman who went bankrupt.

Qian Wei was perturbed that it was happening all over again and it did.  She became a subject of rumours and online bullying.

Episode 18

Qian Wei found out who was behind the slander, i.e., rumours about her online.  It was Yu Tian, the girl who had a massive crush on Li Chongwen.

Li Chongwen would not give Yu Tian the time of day and did not even know she existed most of the time.  She took her revenge on the wrong person.

Anyway, Qian Wei met up with Yu Tian who was unrepentant after being found out.  When Qian Wei said that she will report her for slander, Yu Tian said that she would just create another scandal regarding Qian Wei.

Li Chongwen overheard the conversation and told Yu Tian to delete what she posted online and issue an apology or else she will really suffer even worst than how she made Qian Wei endure.

Li Chongwen and Qian Wei finally had their heart to heart where she confessed to him that they were a couple once in another dimension and that she came from 2022.

He half believed her and sadly said that if they were indeed a couple then there is a place in her heart for him. Qian Wei could only cry.

Meanwhile, Luxun prepared a birthday surprise for Qian Wei. She realised more than ever how much Luxun had secretly helped her in the past and she did not have a clue but so grateful for it now.

They were in the middle of flirtatious hanky panky at Luxun’s apartment when his parents arrived.  They immediately debated about their future grandchildren.

Episode 19

Qian Wei gave LuXun a happy joyous day at the amusement park by initially pretending to be a brown bear to guide him all day long.

LuXun cottoned on immediately that the bear was Qian Wei and he became protective of the bear which made other children cry when they wanted to play with the bear.

Anyway, Qian Wei treated Luxun to the park because he had a not so brilliant childhood time in the park.

He made an appointment with his mother to take him to the park and even gave her six months to arranged her schedule.  But still, she forgot.  He was taken to the park instead by a kindly neighbour who had to deal with her own children and he felt so redundant at a young age.

This story was recounted to Qian Wei by LuXun’s mother.

Qian Chuan was having trouble with swimming.  He was fed that he was always a runner up rather than the winner for once.

Qian Wei took her brother aside and told him that he will win the contest and his prowess will be recognised so he will join the National Tea.

Her twin brother asked Qian Wei how would she know.  She told him that she is a different Qian Wei.  She came from 2022.

Qian Chuan laughed and told her that she was talking bullocks.

But she told him to ask her anything he wanted to know that would happen in the future.

Qian Chuan asked her things about manga and the Games of Throne.  He half believed her.  She told him that he was a good athlete but he lacks self-confidence.  He must believe in himself just like she did with herself and now getting a first place over LuXun.

Qian Chuan and Shiyun are getting on like a house on fire.  In fact, he gave her his trophy for winning first place in the competition.

The family celebrated Qian Chuan’s win at the family house with Luxun in attendance.

The parents reminded Qian Wei that the Judicial examination was coming up.

Qian Wei immediately said that she was going to postpone taking it for a year.

Episode 20

Qian Wei started to realise that everything seemed to end up like before just like in her previous lifetime.

The saddest of all was the passing of her father.  But at least they were able to say their final goodbyes and I Love Yous before he died.

Qian Wei had a total breakdown.

Kudos to LuXun, he took care of her.

Episode 21

When Qian Wei was calmer, Luxun gave her a letter from her father.

Her father said that he worries most about her because she would spread herself thinly looking after her brother and mother and forgetting her dreams in the process.

Before his death, he applied in her name to take the Judicial exam.

Luxun did everything to put her in the right frame of mind and was very supportive when they took the Judicial exam.

She had a wobble to start with but she remembered that she had been longing to pass this exam since forever.

She did not only passed the exam but set a record.  She had a slightly higher score than Luxun and even with Chong Wen.

It was time to do her OJT, which happened to be at the same law firm as Chong Wen.

Their first case is about an exemplary employee who worked too hard and now suffering for it.  The employer now wanted to dismiss the employee with minimum liability.

Qian Wen was not very happy with the case because it is inhuman.

Episode 22

What was being proposed goes against her principle and what she believes is the essence of justice so there and then she walked out from her internship.

Qian Wen was able to convince Chong Wen not to proceed with the Wolf Agreement, which contravenes labor laws via loopholes.

Afterwards, the interns and some of their schoolmates attended a graduation party for Chong Wen.

Qian Wen got drunk and then fell asleep.  She had a nightmare seeing herself, being put into a stretcher and Luxun was crying over her trying to wake her up.

And she woke from her dream and found Luxun castigating her for drinking too much.  She hugged him tightly and although surprised, he hugged her back.

She and Luxun went back to the apartment and celebrated Christmas. Luxun said that he knew she was keeping way too many secrets but he could solve or sort out everything for her.

She then started to open the gifts he gave her.  She was surprised to see the two golden little pigs she previously advised him to buy as they will rise in value.

He also created an online law firm for her.

Qian Chuan and Shiyun are getting closer and closer and Shiyun values his support and protection.

Episode 23

Qian Wei was so touched by the support and care of Luxun she promised him that even if God separate them, she will find a way to always be with him.

They slept together for the first time because she did promise him that they will do it the next time it rained.  Luxun pretended he had forgotten her promise but she told him she was ready. Awww They are just the cutest.

She had her first meeting with a very unwilling client.

Meanwhile, Luxun found her journal which he read.  He finally realised that she might be really from 2022.

With this realisation, he confronted Qian Wei whether she truly loved him or she just used him to be a tool for this timeline.

No matter what Qian Wei said, Luxun was disbelieving.  He told her that she badly let him down for not telling him her secret when Chongwen obviously knew already.  He became jealous that she was in a relationship with Chongwen in her future.

He left her telling her that she had become his life because she was pure and simple.

Qian Wei was shellshocked.  Her story she created to give to Luxun was downloaded on her computer so she took her laptop and ran to Luxun’s apartment.

On the lift, her ring suddenly turned.  She was disorientated.

When she came to, she was someone hovering above her and thought he was Luxun. So when he hugged her, she hugged him back.

They were still hugging when Luxun turned up and left in disgust.

Qian Wei finally realised that it was Chongwen she was hugging.

Her mother then came in and was so glad that she had woken up from her month-long coma.  Her mother continued that her boss had been especially supportive of her.  He was not at all the nasty boss the Qian Wei kept moaning about.

Qian Wei got out of bed to look for Luxun.  She ran in her pajamas but Luxun and already driven off.

She was back in 2022.

Episode 29

Qian Wei had another blind date.  This time the man is quite personable but still Luxun, who was again acting like a chaperone, was not overly worried.

Luxun saw Chong Wen coming to the restaurant with flowers so, without further ado, Luxun went to Qian Wei and her date’s table and told her that she won, he surrenders.  He loves her.

Qian Wei was cool about it but then Luxun pounced and kissed while her date was having a hissy fit for Luxun out of order behaviour kissing the woman who just agreed to date him.

Luxun told the man to push off.

Cheng Wen saw everything and was happily resigned that Qian Wei and Luxun had gotten together.

The love up couple went back to work where they met Zi Xin in the building.

Zixin was happy for them and told them so.  She remembered that she knew that Luxun was really in love with Qian Wei when she came to visit Qian Wei in the hospital.

She saw Luxun being tender and attentive to the comatose Qian Wei.  So she finally decided to let Luxun go.

Luxun had told Qian Wei that he had been in love with her for ten years, he just couldn’t help himself but he was never sure if she could return his feelings because she loves him.

Anyway, Qian Wei had another MRI and this time she saw her and Luxun being set upon by a gang and Luxun ended up getting stabbed.

She asked Luxun if he had offended anyone.  Luxun said it was only her that he had offended.

Still, Qian Wei was very concerned.

And she had to be because AES wanted the newly created Law Online so it would not dig up the murky fraudulent AES business with the university.

Chong Wen knew of this fraud and how it could go nasty and deadly so asked to meet Luxun and warned him to just sell Law Online to AES for the sake of Qian Wei’s health and safety.

Episode 32

Luxun took her for a romantic date on top of a Ferris wheel where they watch snowflakes falling down. He then gave her a pair of gloves.  She put one on but she felt something strange.  When she removed her hand from the glove, she saw her father’s ring which had been customised with a diamond.

Luxun said that since they will marry anyway…

But Qian Wei said she was not happy with the proposal; she was imagining something more romantic.

But then Luxun was a lawyer and good with words so she said yes in the end.

Qian Wei had another dream during an MRI.  In the dream, she was with Luxun who saved her from being run over by a car.  Luxun got hurt instead.

This time she did not tell Luxun about her dream but she knew that the accident was all to do with Lan He.

Lan He called Luxun to meet up but Qian Wei was the one who answered his phone while he was out of his office.

Qian Wei tried to make Lan He come to their office but Lan He said that she preferred to meet up in her building. Qian Wei tried to appear amenable so Lan He would not arrange something causing her demise

Still, Qian Wei prepared for it.  She got a helmet, vest, elbow, and knee pads to prepare for any contingency meeting Lan He.  She also left a loving video recording of what she will be doing and with whom for Luxun.  Qian Wei did not leave anything out because she more or less said her best wishes to her mother, brother and soon-to-be sister-in-law.

Episode 33

Chongwen thought he saw what Lan He was planning for Qian Wei so he went to the marina for find Qian Wei.  Instead, he saw Lan He and her guards already moving the boat.  Chongwen asked where Qian Wei was but Lan He said that she was being taken care of.

Lan He told Chongwen that they were sailing to freedom but Chongwen said that he had made up his mind to surrender and tell everything to the authorities.

Lan He got so annoyed, that she stabbed Chongwen and threw him in the water.

Meanwhile, Luxun was preparing a really romantic proposal to Qian Wei who was rather late.

Qian Wei was in the place where she saw her dream.  She was wearing her helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and go pro.

She was shouting to Lan He to come out but instead, a car started careering towards her. She was just able to step aside.  But then again it started again.

By this time, Luxun had found her farewell video.  He drove like a maniac to get to her.  He saved her as he crashed his car into the other driver.

Thank goodness he did not die.  But he was trapped in his upside-down car.  While waiting for the ambulance, Luxun asked Qian Wei for a kiss.

It was Lan He’s trial.  She was given 15 years and multimillion fines.

Chongwen for his part was jailed for a year and fined 1 million

Yii Tian was jailed for six months and fined 500K.

It was the wedding.  Luxun was going mental because he was not allowed to see Qian Wei.

Qian Wei was excited to start the wedding but then Shiyun sucked out all the joy when she started telling Qian Wei what she feared if she married Qian Xuan.  Because twins run in the family, Shiyuh reckons that she would have 6 kids in a space of three years and she can’t do that that is why she does not want to marry Qian Xuan.

When she left, Qian Wei opened her ring box and saw her father’s magic ring.  She suddenly saw herself with so many kids, that she could not even begin to count how many.

This scared her and left the bride’s room and went out to the wedding ground where she saw the parents placing bets.

She thoughts the bet was about children

Qian Wei ran for her life and got into the first car at the wedding party.

She then noticed her driver, it was Luxun who gamely said that he was up for an elopement. They could travel the world and he would marry her in every country.
