Episode 1
I have to say I really enjoyed this first episode. Though, full of tropes, it is still very enjoyable.
Anyway, Xu Xixi is the only daughter of a chaebol who indulged her so much that she behaved like a very privileged little princess.
She was being driven one day when she ordered her driver to go even faster. But they met an accident where their car ended up in the water and Xixi was falling to the bottom of the sea.
She was saved by Lu Jin Yan.
She then woke up in her own bed, surrounded by medical people and her worried father.
Xixi could not remember who she was and her father.
The doctor assured her that she has amnesia because of the trauma she suffered but it will pass.
Her father tasked Lu Jin Yan to look after Xixi and keep her safe at all costs. The father was going on a business trip that can’t be canceled.
The father warned that lately, Xixi has had dark thoughts of killing herself so she had to be especially monitored.
Lu Jin Yan promised to look after Xixi.
The people around Xixi could not get over the fact that she had become a different person. In the past, she was the most hysterical, spoilt, and aggressive little madam. Now, she shows patience and gratitude.
Xixi is a bit of a celebrity in her own right. In fact, she is an endorser of First Appearance. She was expected to turn up for the opening. Her manager was ready to do battle to persuade her to go but Xixi was willing, though not quite ready.
Lu Jin Yan escorted her to the rehearsal. She was told that she had to learn a dance number. Xixi said could she not just sing instead?
Tian Sui, her manager, said that the show would be live so it was out of the question as she sings out of tune on any given day🤣🤣🤣
Xixi has a nemesis in the business. She is Xu Meng Yun who arranged for the show to go wrong including forcing Xixi to sing.
To her surprise and that of the manager, Tian Sui, plus everyone else including Lu Jin Yan, Xixi sang very well, though there was a break as the above spotlight started to fall almost on top of Xixi, Lu Jin Yan got to her first and covered her with his body.
Later on, Lu Jin Yan told his friend that Xixi is an impostor. Where is the real Xixi?
