Episode 1
Whoa, it is a depressing start for Chen Xiao Man.
She broke up with the gorgeous, Ke Yan.
Their story started in Beijing, when she was his subordinate. He had to fire her because she made a mistake, a big one which was used by, Tian Zhong who is KeYan’s rival at work.
Peng Juan who works under Tian Zhong’s team. She begged Xiao Man to do the figures for their project. Peng Juan said that she would pay Xiao Man to do it.
Xiao Man was desperate for money as she was trying to gather enough to buy shares to her family’s ceramic business. The business was started by her father but when he died, her third aunt and third uncle took over the running. As Xiaoman was very young, she did not get any shares and now she was trying to remedy the situation.
Anyway, the project was of top most secrecy so when Tian Zhong found out that Xiaoman from KeYan’s team knew the ins and outs of the project, she created such as fuss.
Ke Yan told Xiaoman that he could not help her get out of the mire because it would be either him or her who gets the sack.
