Episode 1

I really like the first episode especially when he was dining at James’ Cafe where he ordered Lard Rice, Cabbage and Salted Pork.  Yummy. it made me curious how to make lard rice.

Wu Lang was originally was looking for the Farmhouse.  On his way, he bumped into Lan Xiao Ben, a girl who was obviously a musician as she has a trumpet case with her.

Anyway, Wu Lang asked her where the Farmhouse was.  She offered to take him to the Farmhouse but it was closed.  He got a message to come back at 9 that evening.

When he got back, he listened to a family who was at first at war but made up after playing jazz music.

I really like this drama because it has little snippets of information such as walking/running backwards, though can be dangerous 😝, is good for your backache and can calm nervouness.

Episode 2

Wu Lang’s next appointment was Mr Lee bo Nan who was not at home when he got there.  But Wu Lang surmised from the many prints and posters and Airfix airplane models that he was out plane-spotting.

Wu Lang found Mr Lee and over a snack of taho or sweet tofu, Mr Lee started recounting a bit of his life.

Wu Lang is in the business of locating items for clients.

Superstition: gifting someone with shoes means sending them to their death or they will leave you to go far away.

The latter was what happened to Mr Lee.  His best friend left him 45 years ago to fly airplanes.

Mr Lee wanted Wu Lang to find a matching plane for the one he got from his best friend.

But Mr Lee was not too lonesome anymore because timely enough, the grandson, Zhang Si Nan, of his best friend came looking for him.

This time Wu Lang was dining standing up for some sushi.  Apparently, this is called Li Tun Sushi.

Wu Lang ordered a special selection of sashimi, salt grilled Pacific saury, Stand Up Handmade Sushi and fish bone miso soup.  Glorious.
