Jang Kang’s wife had a baby. Jang Kang then took the baby to the palace ground and in front of the officials and guards including Park Jin, he block the energy of the baby so he could never learn or practise spells and cultivation in the future.
It looks like Jang Uk’s mother was already pregnant by the real Jang Kang before the King inside Jang Kang’s body had his dastardly way with her.

The teenage Jang Uk was absolutely gutted that his energy is blocked and tearfully promised that he will find someone who could unblock it.
Unfortunately despite meeting 12 masters, no one can help him.
But then he met Mu Deok with her mysterious glowing eyes. He told her that the moment he saw her he knew he had met the one – his master.

Meanwhile, Mu Deok got trapped in the Magic Mirror of the Jin family

Teacher Lee was recounting to his young avid listeners about the Soul Sifter stone. He said that the Mage of Daeho performed drought rites to end the prolonged period of no rain. As the mage dances to the sky, which started raining hailstones.
One hailstones never melted and was found to have fantastical power. It could bring the dead to life and can transfer a soul to another. The hailstone is called the Soul ejector.
Meanwhile, the Crown Prince for no reason kept thinking of Stinky Mu Deok.
The Crown Prince, Seo Yul, Park Dang Gu and Uk converged at the Jin Mansion looking for Mu Deok. It seemed her apparition appeared to them and then vanished in their very eyes.
Only a Jin could open the Jinyowon artifacts rich room. Mu Deok was able to open it, does that mean she is a Jin.
Anyway, with the help of UK, Mu Deok got out of the Mirror of Longing.
Uk confessed to Madam Jin tht he was not a real Jang so they broke the wedding engagement.
Kil Joo found out that Mu Deok was Nuksu. He told her that he will keep his mouth shut if he brings UK to the abandoned temple where he can kill him and then take over his body using the Soul Sifter.
