Episode 1

Wow!  The first episode is hectic in action and intrigue.  This kind of genre seemed to have been perfected by iQiyi.

Anyway, it started 6 years ago.  There was chaos a landmine.  Men were fighting outside the mine while inside men were fighting for their lives as there was an explosion.  The boss was just coming into the tunnel when he was accosted by a working asking him to save the other miners trapped inside.

Instead, of taking action to save his men, the boss used a hammer to kill the worker.  Outside, the police were trying to keep order but one of the fighters, used a gun to kill another.

Zhuo Yue, a young policeman saw what happened and knows the murderer.

The murderer disappeared though.

During a press conference, the boss, owner announced that despite the landmine collapsing, there were no lives lost.

Six Years later, construction workers were digging up the foundation for a huge new development when they dug up a skull.

Everything halted and the police were called.  The Deputy Director arrived.  He was Qu Jiang He.  He said that the works at the construction had to cease for now as it will undergo a thorough investigation as it could be a scene of a crime.

The Deputy mayor arrived and complained about work stoppage.  He said that the development is what the town needed.  It will put them in the map.

The Deputy mayor’s tirade was halted by a telephone call from the boss of the development.  He was Meng Chuan Sheng, the boss who used a hammer to kill a workman six years ago in his landmine.  The intriguing bit is that he is Qu Jiang He’s brother.

Meanwhile, in the mountains, Zhuo Yue and Mei Zue were investigating the wildman of the mountain.  As fate would have it, they were not alone in looking for the wild man.  There was a reporter and a mountain patrol police, who was hunting the wildman.

The mountain police shot the wildman while Zhuo Yue and Mei Zue chased after the shooter.

The shooter said that he was with them, he was a police and showed them his ID. But then he looked up and Zhuo Yue recognised him as the murderer from 6 years ago.  He was Qiu Shuhai who is now called Lin Dashan.

Unfortunately, Lin Dashan managed to evade Zhuo Yue.

Zhuo Yue reported what happened to Qu Jiang He.  He asked why a fugitive could join the police force.  Who was backing him?

Qu Jiang He was intrigued.  Knowing that looking into it will not go down well, he went to see Yan Ge, a former schoolmate who is now high up in the force as well as well connected.

Yan Ge told him to leave it with her.

Episode 2

Wow, this drama is so fast-paced.

The team arrested Qiu Shuhai in Mackerel Village during his father’s wake.  But it did not pan out because they arrested the same person.

Apparently, Qiu Shuhai was a twin.  It was his twin brother that they had arrested. So basically back to square one for the team.
