Where The Lost Ones Go – Chinese Drama Review

Just started watching this Chinese drama which is comprised of 24 episodes.

The story started in 2007 when Ye Zi (Boey Cecilia) was a college freshman, studying traditional Chinese Art.

One day she was taking a rest on a bench on the school ground when she saw someone painting in a nearby ground floor studio/classroom. She was so intrigued by the painting that she moved nearer to see it better.  She overheard a girl telling the painter that she had waited for him until the end of the movie but he never showed.

The painter said that he was not interested and he has a girlfriend already.  He then saw  Ye Zi looking in from the window, watching them.

He jumped into the window and run off with Ye Zi.  They ended up near a pond.  With some innocent flirting and long staring at one another, as dramas like this are, then ended up tumbling into the water; both of them ended up soaking wet including Ye Zi’s bag.

She then run off and mistakenly picked up the boy’s iPod.

The boy painter was Xiang Ze Yi (Fan Kris) who majors in oil painting and who happens to be the handsomest boy of the Art Department.

So far the drama is sweet but you can feel there is a coming doom and gloom in the background as moments from present day show Ye Zi looking forlorn. And an older Ze Yi looking more like a graffiti artist rather than a successful oil painter.  He was also stalking Ye Zi and yet he doesn’t want to be noticed by her.
