Episode 1
Sheng Nan Fang was forced to marry an ordinary girl because his grandfather willed it.
Sheng Nan Fang had a girlfriend already, who wore a wedding dress during Sheng Nan Fang and Su Shao Yan’s wedding ceremony.
Tianwei, the girlfriend brought a bouquet with a knife imbedded in it. She stabbed herself but made it to appear as if it was Shaoyan who did it.
Nanfang was so annoyed of Shaoyan but Grandpa saw what happened and told his grandson to behave.
Episodes 2 – 3
Nanfang was not giving Shaoyan any break and blamed her for everything even not knowing what it was all about.
Shaoyan ran out of the house in distress. She was found by Gu Yiran, her long-time friend. He brought her back home.
Nanfang spotted them and when Shaoyan got to the house, Nanfang insulted her for being a money grabber. She would have slapped him but fainted in his arms instead.
Episodes 4 – 5
Nanfeng did look after Shaoyan and put her to bed but then his mother called telling him that Tianwei had slashed her wrist. Nanfeng left Shaoyan to go to Tian Wei.
But Shaoyan was really ill and had to call her bestie, Xiwen who took her to the hospital.
Xiwen saw red when she saw Nanfeng with Tianwei at the hospital.
Tianwei had Xiwen fired from her job.
Shaoyan was upset with Nanfeng for being vindictive by firing Xiwen.
He told her that he never does anything without a reason.
Grandpa turned up very upset because he found out that Nanfeng had allowed the Zhang to invest in their company.
Episodes 6 -7
Grandad flogged Nanfeng but Shaoyan intervened.
Xiwen got her job back and with a pay rise as well.
It was Nanfeng’s birthday. He was quite drunk and took advantage of Shaoyan. Actually, Shaoyan was gagging for it. But Shaoyan heard him calling out for Tianwei in his sleep.
She got up so she did not hear the rest of what he said in his sleep that he had fallen for her.
When he woke up rather happy, he found Shaoyan’s wedding ring and divorce paper on his bedside table.
Episodes 8-9
Nanfeng looked for Shaoyan but he was sidetracked by the news that his grandpa had an unsuccessful operation and was dying.
It turned out that Shaoyan did not want to push through with the wedding but grandpa begged her because he did not want Shaoyan to end up with the horrid Tianwei.
Grandpa died and Shaoyan divorced him.
Tianwei tried to insinuate herself to Nanfeng but he told her to go away.
Episode 10 – 11
Five Years later…
At a cocktail party, Nanfeng finally saw Shaoyan with Gu Yiran.
Nanfeng immediately dragged Shaoyan to ask her where she had been in the last five years.
Shaoyan told him that it was actually none of his business where she was.
Gu Yiran hugged and kissed Shaoyan on the forehead which made Nanfeng see red. He punched Yiran.
Tianwei and Nanfeng’s sister saw Shaoyan working in a company. They treated her pretty badly and made her get them coffee.
Tianwei then got the shock when she found out the Shaoyan was the director sent by the company’s HQ in France.
Now that Nanfeng found her again, he was determined to get her back.
Episodes 12 – 13
Tianwei found Nanfeng and Shaoyan in a very compromising position in Nanfeng’s office.
Tianwei was very upset because his mother was already preparing for their wedding. The mother even had a meeting with Shaoyan in a restaurant and offered her money to leave Nanfang alone.
Shaoyan toyed with her. She said she was willing to do as the ex-mother-in-law wish in exchange for half of Nanfeng’s fortune.
The mother-in-law was annoyed and would have slapped Shaoyan was Nanfeng was suddenly in the restaurant.
Nanfeng warned his mother that if she does not stop interfering he will cut off her allowance and fire all her relatives in his company.
At a charity auction attended by Shaoyan who was modeling a pair of emerald earrings, Yiran and Nanfeng competed who could buy them.
Nanfeng won. He told Shaoyan to keep the earrings as they look good on her. He then hugged her but
Episodes 14 – 17
Shaoyan got so annoyed telling him that he was the one who asked for divorce five years ago and now pretending that he loves her.
Nanfeng was clueless.
It turned out that Shaoyan had a daughter which Tianwei found out,
She immediately reported it to Nanfeng that Shaoyan and Yiran have a daughter.
Nanfang saw the little girl and had DNA test immediately. He knew she is his daughter.
Shaoyan was livid.
Nanfang begged Shaoyan to reconcile. She turned him down.
She was meeting a client who was rather frisky. When she went to the toilet, he drugged her wine.
Nangfang was made aware of what was happening so he came to the rescue of the poor Shaoyan who had been drugged.
He took her home and put her to bed. She pulled him towards her and kissed him.
Episodes 18 – 21
Nothing happened as he knew she was in her right frame of mind. She woke up with Nanfang cooking in the kitchen with Little Moon.
Shaoyan thank Nanfang later who told her that it was his duty to look after her and their daughter.
It was Gu Yi Ran’s birthday. He invited Shaoyan to lunch. He then asked her to accept an engagement ring.
Shaoyan turned him down which upset him so much he began to plot against Nanfang.
He asked Xiaoya, Nangfang’s sister, who has a crush on him to shell her shares on her brother’s company to him.
She promised him that she would but then he told her that there can never be anything between them.
Tianwei incited the already demented Xiaoya to make Shaoyan disappear.
Xiaoya was going to run Shaoyan over but Nanfang was there to the rescue and he got hurt instead.
He was milking it though for all it is worth.
Shaoyan was half convinced.
Finally, Nanfang’s mother and sister that the root cause of the trouble besieging Nanfang was Tianwei’s doing.
Shaoyan went to her former marital home and noticed that it was like the way she left off.
Episodes 22 – 25
Nanfang found out that someone had been buying shares from his company but before he could look into it he received an urgent call from Little Moon telling him that Shaoyan had fainted.
Nanfang’s mother and sister turned up and apologised to Shaoyan. They were so happy to meet Little Moon.
they were interrupted by a call from Tianwei who was threatening to jump off to her death.
Nanfang told Tianwei that he will never get together with her because she just doesn’t rock his boat. Finally Tianwei surrendered on her one-sided doomed love affair.
Meanwhile, a board meeting was called and Gu Yiran presented his shares, that he is now the biggest shareholder and as such he proposed to be the new president of the company.
Nanfeng gladly relinquished the title to Gu Yiran but someone was really surprised that there was a new president when the company is going bankrupt.
Nanfang confirmed the state of the company and said that Gu Yiran buying all the shares meant his own Gu company will be in a lot of trouble funding his newly acquired Sheng Company.
Meanwhile, romance is high with Nanfang and Shaoyan. Shaoyan finally agreed to remarriage and she also announced that Little Moon will have a brother or sister soon.
