Episode 1
Blurb: 100 years ago, the Holy Master used the Seven Sins Manual which is a demon-suppresant to subdue the demon lord.
This brought peace to the world. The Seven Sins Manual turned into a talisman genie and vanished.
This first episode is rather rickety in all aspects. The setting is obviously done in a studio, there was a scene where Nan Yan had kept a prisoner in a huge eathernware jar. When the other sect members rescued the prisoner, the jar moved like a huge carton.🤣🤣🤣 They also heavily used filter on the lovely Jing Tian which made her almost unrecognisable.
Anyway the story was that Nan Yan is an expert herbalist/poisoner. One day she went to the Filth Valley to gather some herbs. Unfortunately for her, she walked into a demon bent on a summary killing. Nan Yan made herself as inconspicuous as possible but her talisman genie decided to appear, thereby making her a target for the demons.
Unbeknownst to her, an immortal was also at the Filth Valley. He was searching to the Seven Sins Manual when he stumbled upon them. As the demons surrounded Nan Yan, Shao Cang from his lofty position on top of a tree send a bolt of energy to stop the demons on their tracks.
The demons realised that Shao Cang was more they could handle so they retreated.
For some reason, Shao Cang started feeling that he was dying, mentally drowning.
Nan Yan later found Shao Cang comatose. She noticed that he was a handsome guy so she decided to take him home. She cured him and later told him that she was his saviour and he’d better believed it.
He tried to get away later on but she had created a formation in her little cottage preventing him from leaving. She told him that he had a very good constitution and she wanted to use him as her laboratory rat and test all her poisons on him.
He tried to resist but then he found out that Nan Yan was the talisman genie of the the Seven Sins Manual.
