The hubby bought me a lovely blue leather messenger cum handbag for the wedding from Clarks.
I was really pleased with it so I took it with me for the honeymoon too. Alas when I tried to use it the buckle holding the handle strap broke and therefore the dinkly little handbag became unusable. We had to look for a new handbag in Malta to use and ended up buying several. Hahaha
I went last week to Clarks to ask if I could return the bag and advise that I had misplaced the receipt. They said fine just bring the credit/bank statement showing the transaction.
Went to Clarks today, very easy to return the damaged good but because the bag was now on sale and that I did not have the original receipt, I was refunded the sale price rather than what we paid for originally.
I chose another bag, a more expensive one as part purchase, part refund/exchange. Again I was really happy with the new bag.
I opened it to see all the pockets inside.
I was aghast to note that the holder for the zip on the first pocket I opened came off without any resistance.
So disappointed. Dare I return it? Hubby said he’ll see if he could somehow tighten it.
If not, back to Clarks again for return, at least I have got my receipt this time or I think I have……..
