Dream Leads or CP in South East Asian Dramaland
Global Granary has its own favourite partnerships in dramas that we watch. These leads leave an indelible memory because they clicked so much you feel they suit in reel and real life.
Here are our list, not in any order but first come to mind. This is also a work in progress and we need to go back to our archive for our complete list.
- Shen Yue and Hu Yi Tian. These two were so perfect in A Love So Beautiful. Long after the drama was over, we can’t get enough of them and we still wanted to find more about them, whether they were going out together or each other’s crush. Well, we did find out the hard way!!! But it is still such a shame they have not done another drama together.
- Park Bo Gum and Kim Yoo Jung. Daebak pairing. Love in the Moonlight is such an iconic Korean historical drama fiction. They were well suited.
- Miles Wei and Xu Ruohan. They were ideal in Perfect and Casual. Really watchable team/
- Seven Tan and Song Wei Long. Just love them in Go Ahead. The drama obsessed me. They were just the cutest lead together and we want them to work together again.
- Tang Min and Yang Kai Cheng. We adore them in Chef Hua. They were so natural as if they were really a married couple. Love them to do a modern drama.
- Zhang Hans and Janine Chang. They were so sophisticated and matched really well in Here to Heart. They were so good together there were plenty of (hopeful) rumours that they were in a relationship in real life.
- Ju Jing Yi and Zhang Zhe Han. Really romantic combination.
- Crystal Yuan and Cheng Yi. Love them in Love and Redemption but I don’t think they will be doing a drama together in a hurry after the snubbing controversy during the L&R concert. Shame really.
- Wang Yibo and Xiao Zhan. Their iconic rather BL romance was just the cutest in The Untamed.
- Wang An Yu and Xiang Han Zhi. These two are gleaming in Forever Love.
- Mao Xiao Tong and Eric Yang. I loved them in Nothing But Thirty. They were so cute and we hoped they reunited after they divorced. And they did. We were hoping a side story regarding them would be made as well.
