Episode 1

I am loving the leads.

I have always had a soft spot with Lin Si Yi since the Legend of Yunxi.

Anyway, the drama started with Qin Ge trying to escape her hospital confinement.  She was being treated for Lupus.

It was very important for her business that she leaves to sign new contracts with her manga.

Yep, Qin Ge is a popular manga author.

She was chased by hospital staff who forbade her to leave.

She was just about to climb a fence when she got stuck and what do you know?  A face from the past was there looking up at her.

Qin Ge was surprised to see Bai Qi Jia,  boy she had not seen for eight years.  Eight years ago when she did not turn up on their first date.

She had never explained to him why she did not turn up.

Now Bai Qi Jia is a doctor in neurology at the hospital.

Qin Ge nervously greeted him and asked him to help her out.  She had to get out of the hospital as a matter of life and death. She then showed him a contract that needed to be signed and sealed.

Bai Qi Jia arranged to temporarily allow her to leave the hospital with the proviso that she will return.

He drove her to the company and later found out that Qin Ge is in fact a very popular manga writer with over a million followers.

After signing the contract, Qin Ge then refused to return to the hospital as she was needed in the company more than ever.

Bai Qi Jia was insisting on taking her back but Qin Ge friends and colleagues argued that you can’t force a patient to return to the hospital against her will.

Bai Qi Jia was defeated and went back to the hospital with Chen Min, Qin Ge’s manager to settle the payment for Qin Ge’s hospitalisation.

The next time Bai Qi Jia saw Qin Ge was in a bar.

Episode 2

Qin Ge got drunk and ended up spending the night at Bai Qi Jia’s apartment.  She was not sure if something happened between them but Bai Qi Jia was teasing her that she had to take responsibility for what occurred that night.

This episode is so cute because Bai Qi Jia was determined to get Qin Ge who had waited for eight years.  He said that this time she was not going to get away and it seemed he was intent in this mission because he had started attending a drawing class being taught by Qin Ge.

There are so many high school scenes that were cute showing them promising each other that they would always be together.

Qin Ge ended up in the hospital. Bai Qi Jia finally found out what was wrong with her.

Episode 7

Bai Qi Jia stayed with her throughout the night until she woke up.

Chen Min made Qin Ge think that Bai Qi Jia only sees her as a patient.

Qin Ge tried to distance herself from Bai Qi Jia but he was not having it. She then showed him the sore in her arm which was from lupus.  She told him that being with her means he would be living with her ailments.

Bai Qi Jia said he doesn’t care, but she said she cares.

Episode 8

Qin Ge found out that a patient filed a complaint against Bai Qi Jia.  The complainant was Zelin, who was big into manga.

Qin Ge then took it upon herself to solve the case and made Zelin retract his unexpected complaint. She added that he must tell Dr Bai that she helped Zelin into this enlightenment.

Qin Ge was expecting Dr Bai to come to see her but instead, Xuezhou turned up to help with her discharge.  On their way home, XueZhou dropped her off by the park where a brown bear mascot led her to a restaurant where Dr. Bai was waiting for her.  Apparently, the restaurant was owned by Zelin’s family who lend it to him to treat Qin Ge.

Dr Bai said that since there is no more secret between them, he would like them to start dating again.  She was shocked because she was not ready.  She was so nervous she got up immediately and fell over hurting her leg.

Dr Bai took her to his house which Chen Min found out. He tried to take her back at her house but she lied that she was already at home and that he should go to bed early himself.

Chen Min was so upset because he knew she was lying to him. So he double his effort to be close to Qin Ge.

Meanwhile, Lu Tian was crushing on the gorgeous Xuezhou but she is so feisty.

Episode 9

Qin Ge and Dr Bai were breaking up before they could even get together.

Dr Bai was not too happy to find Chen Min sleeping at Qin Ge’s sofa.  But Qin Ge explained that they worked all night with her drawings.

Dr Bai said to her that he heard her manga stories are popular so why did she start to change the storyline of her work?

Qin Ge who was so frustrated as it is did not appreciate what Dr Bai said and told him to go after telling him that he really liked the past her rather than her current self.

Qin Ge caught a cold and Dr Bai took the opportunity to move in with her to look after her.  He did not give her any chance to disagree.

It was not a romantic one as it turned out as Chen Min became a third wheeler as he moved in as well.

Tian Cheng had been trying to get Chen Min’s attention but in such a childish way that Chen Min only gets annoyed with her and told her to leave him alone.

Tian Cheng had a crush on him for a long time since he appeared while she was so done.  He gave her encouragement but he does not even remember her now.
