Precis:

The orphan Zhang Xiao Fan was taken in by Qing Yun Sect after the death of his parents during a massacre of their village.

Zhang Xiao Fan learned cultivation and martial art.

But then he found out the reason of his parents death.  His vengeful persona started feeding his demonic tendencies.

Now, Qing Yun Sect had turned against him.

14 September 2019 Update:

The movie is doing very well at the cinema.  It had now officially surpassed 200,000,000 RMB at the box office in the last couple of days of showing.

Some fans are not happy that the lead female Li Qin did not have much of an airtime and to cup it all Xiao Zhan snogged the second female lead, Meng Meiqi in the film.  LOL
