Quick Precis:
The story is about a 39-year-old workaholic woman who had been single for the last ten years. Aware that her biological clock is now ticking, she needs to find someone to father a baby she longs for.
It so happens three men came to her life at the same time.
Who will she choose?
Han Yi Sang who is masculinely gorgeous but rather hyper in pursuing his hobbies?
A single father pediatrician, Yoon Jae-Young?
Or a potential toyboy Choi Knag Eu Ddeum, who clearly adores her?

Episode 1
Wow! Jang Na Ra did it again. That is to bring us a really fun and interesting drama. I was already blown away by the first episode. I had a giggle and then a little cry towards the end of this episode.
Jang Na Ra plays Jang Ha Ri, whose ambition in life was to become a mother because she thought mothers are the happiest creatures in the world as they look at their babies. If only she knew!!! LOL
Ha Ri had been working in the ‘The Baby’ section of a lifestyle magazine. She is a bit of a workaholic and at 39 she had not dated for ten years.
Due to excessively painful menstrual cramps, she went to consult an OBGYN and was quizzed about her sex life or lack of it.
The doctor advised her to have a further test but in the meantime, she was given a prescription for her cramps and advice on how to have the baby she longs for. That was just to get on with it.
Just outside the clinic, she thought she got lucky as she looked at a rather dashing man who stopped her to ask for the direction of the pharmacy.
She happily pointed him to the pharmacy but as she turned back to look at him, she found his trousers in his ankles and his camel coloured overcoat was widely open showing her his bits.
He was a flasher. LOL This scene was hilarious.
Hari has three potential baby-father candidates.
First was Ha Yi Sang, who just came back to the country after photographing the world. He had a very, very brief but extremely memorable history with Hari.
It happened about three years ago. They were on a blind-date but at the last minute, he changed his mind because he found her too full on.
Hari was advised by her friend to be more touchy-feely as men can’t resist that but it seemed it turned off Yi Sang.
He told her that she seemed to be so lonely but she does not need a husband, what she needed was a dog. And that was the end of their romance.
The second candidate was her best friend of long ago. They were pretty closed but as soon as he got married, he dropped her like a sack of potatoes because his wife did not like Hari.
Now he was divorced with a young baby. He and his baby had moved in on the ground floor of her house without her knowledge or consent. The house was owned by her mother, who invited Yoon Jae-Young to move in as he doesn’t have anywhere else to go.
The third candidate was a young man, Choi Kang-Eu-Ddeum, a newbie to the company. He was so immature and a bit of a numbskull who does not get the hint but his heart is in the right place. He calls her auntie and would say what first comes into his mind, including announcing to everyone in the lift to give way because his ‘auntie has period cramps’ which embarrassed Hari.
Hari was given the assignment to write a story about how it was like to be pregnant. So she was suited with a fake pregnancy bump. She liked it so much, she wore it outside the studio and into the shopping center where she met Yi Sang.
Of all the most unfortunate things, her period cramps got worse that she was doubled up in pain and the onlookers thought she was about to have the baby. She was frogmarched to the car park.
Yi Sang feeling sorry for her picked her up to bring her to the hospital. He would not listen when Hari told him that she does not want to go to the hospital but would rather go to the pharmacy.
Yi Sang only drove his car faster and taken her to the hospital where it got so embarrassing.
Her doctor later told her that she has endometritis and the chances of her getting pregnant at her age has gotten very slim. Harvesting eggs from her as well was no longer viable.
She was out of it, she was so lost in her thoughts and sorrow and that was how Yi Sang found her.
She then asked him to marry her.
Can’t wait for tomorrow’s episodes. Goo Joon is gorgeous. Yey this role is just perfect for him. He was so memorable in Misty though he died in the third episode and also adorable as a half-baddie/half goodie in The Fiery Priest.
Episode 2
Anyway, when Hari asked Yi Shang to marry her, she was really out of her mind. She was in a bubble of unconscious baby-making.
When Yi Shang turned her down, finally she realised what she asked him and she made an excuse that the marriage proposal was to show her gratitude towards him for having gone off his way to help her.
Yi Shang was left confused but rather intrigued.
Ha Ri went back to her OB/GYN to further discuss her situation. She was told that she can have 6 months leeway to get pregnant before they really think about surgery.
Ha Ri did not waste time, she asked everyone to introduce her to guys or a match.
She dreaded going to family gatherings but at this time she went to a cousin’s wedding and made sure that she’s a center of attention by singing gamely and cutely during the ceremony.
Sure enough, guys wanted to meet her but at the last moment would turn away from her. She then realised the reason was that she was closely being followed by the rather imposingly tall Yi Shang which put off the guys.
She even asked Jae Young to introduce her to someone.
When she went to meet the guy, it was unfortunate that Yi Shang was also there signing a contract.
He then started eavesdropping at the conversation of Ha Ri and her date.
It was not what Ha Ri wanted. The guy was willing to be in a dating relationship with her but he wanted to take it slowly and kids are at the back of his plans.
Ha Ri was gutted and walked away into the pouring rain.
Again, Yi Shang was there with an umbrella which only infuriated her and she tried to get away but he held on to her causing the arm of her lovely suit to rip.
At that moment, Jae Wong was coming out of a shop and saw that Ha Ri seemed as being harassed by a man. This scene was so hilarious. The fighting scene between YI Shang and Jae Wong was a comic dream. I was roaring with laughter when Ha Ri tried to intervene and go between them. Somehow they ended up holding each other’s hands skipping and looking as playing the merry go round. Perfect scene.
Jae Wong left his baby to Ha Ri one night to look after as he had to help out in a close friends bereavement visitation.
While she was tending to the baby, Ha Ri had a eureka moment. “She realised that she does not have to be married to have a baby.”
So the next day, the went to visit her OB/GYN again and said that she wanted to have a baby rather than an operation.
Episode 3
I love. love this Kdrama. It is a rollercoaster of emotion.
Anyway, was really determined to have a baby, marriage or no marriage as she told her doctor.
The doctor reminded her that it was not legal to pay sperm donor and advised her for desperate measures to just sleep around and get pregnant naturally.
Hari has a problem, she could not think of anyway she wanted to sleep with.
For support she started logging into infertility forum where there was underground contact for sperm donors.
She met up with a young man who pretended that he came from a good university with an IQ even higher than Einstein. But he wanted 10K for his services. He told Hari that he quite like her so he promised to sleep with her every night during her ovulation period.
HaRi did not know what to think and was still in shocked when they got surrounded by undercover police who had been after the sperm donor.
Poor Hari was trapped with the case as well as they said they found her in the processes of negotiation with the man.
Hari ended up in the police station and Jae Young had to come and stand for her in the police station.
The next day, Choi Kang-Eu-Ddeum annoyed her so much for calling her Auntie at every turn. She finally cracked and told him to call her boss or boss or boss as there are only bosses in the company for newbies.
He was shocked how ferocious HaRi was but he did not immediately learned his lesson because during a company dinner where there was a television showing a news of an arrested illegal sperm donor, Choi Kang-Eu-Ddeum could not help himself from saying that the woman with the criminal looked like HaRi.
No matter how much she denied it, Choi Kang-Eu-Ddeum would not stop.
Anyway, when she got home her mother was waiting for her and scolded her and made her so small. She then threw out HaRi out of the house.
Hari was out of her mind when she almost bumped on the side of a park van if Yi Sang did not put his hand to stop her.
Hari was so embarrassed that she tried to run off but tripped on the huge slippers she was wearing.
Yi Sang got her a drink an listened to her troubles until Jae Young came looking for her with a pair of her shoes and took her home.
Anyway, there was photoshoot the next day of eligible men who happened to be Yi Sang, Jae Young and Choi Kang-Eu-Ddeum, who all realised at the same time as HaRi that they were potential baby-daddy.

Episode 5
Hari finally told her mother that her chance of getting pregnant is getting slimmer and slimmer by the day an will be more so if she had the surgery.
Her mother was shocked at first but finally realised why Hari decided to bypass marriage and go immediately to baby-making.
And Hari was in a hurry. She put the idea of sperm donation to 6Eu-Ddeum. After she explained to him that he will be totally out of any responsibility to the baby he agreed and was quite excited to have a thorough physical exam.
They both had a full exam and after a few days Eu-Ddeum can’t wait to tell her that he passed everything with flying colours in fact he was happy to tell her that the doctor said that he was swimming with lots of sperms. He has more than ten times the average man.
Now the donation, Eu-Ddeum said that he was willing to donate to her because she will make a good mom.
Hari told him to think some more because there will be a baby involved.
Eu-Ddeum thought about it and said that he does not have any problem but he probably need to talk about it with his parents as they will have a grandchild who they will never know about.
Hari realised that this could get complicated.
Despite being on suspension and fear of lying, Hari willingly went on assignment with Yi Sang. It was not particularly a long flight but she was rather phobic about takeoffs.
Yi Sang realised this an took pity on her and held her hand.
She was grateful but as soon as things had settled a bit more she abruptly tugged her hand out of his grasp.
She did regret it in the end.
After filming extra shots, it gets dark and there were heavy rain and landslide. Their return flight was canceled and they had to stay in a rather quaint bed and breakfast.
Yi Sang is so cute and mentioned that his western name is Kevin, which is a nod to his break-out drama, MIsty. Love him ever since I must admit.
Jae Young was going mental that Hari was to spend the night with YI Sang.
Episode 6
The news that HaRi was illegally trying to procure sperms blew up. It was all over the news and she because an object of derision.
Even her magazine was annoyed with her as she was bringing down the reputation of The Baby.
She was suspended from her job as well as asked by her management to issue an apology to their readers.
Her piece was so heartwarming and moving that she was forgiven though her sobriquet remains as the Sperm Lady.
One of those who was so moved was Yi Sang. He went to his urologist to find out if he can father a baby.
Episode 7
It looks like Yi Sang was infertile. It was the reason why his girlfriend broke up with him. And the reason why he shunned Ha Ri away.
Ha Ri was gutted which was noticed by Jae-Young.
Jae Young observed astutely that baby-making had become secondary to Ha Ri’s mission. She wanted romance more than anything else. A romance with Yi Sang.
I found it excruciating when Ha Ri started harassing Yi Sang for going to lunch with a beautiful former client. Ha Ri went mad.
She was at first confused with Yi Sang because he was blowing hot and cold. She did not know where she was with him.
So they had a heart to heart where Yi Sang confessed that he likes living alone and see himself living alone for the rest of his life.
Though it was hard to accept, Ha Ri tried to get over him.
Jae Young’s ex-wife was trying to reconcile with him but he said no.
His wife asked in Ha Ri was getting between them.
Jae Young said that it was the other way around. Because of her, he dropped Ha Ri, which he regretted so much. He was trying to make up for it by offering Ha Ri marriage.
Ha Ri thought about it for a minute and pictured that she will turn into a downtrodden wife, picking up everything after Jae Young. That was funny.
The Editor of The Baby was leaving and they gave her a leaving-do. Everyone drank too much including Eu-Ddeum, who Ha Ri had to help out to get a taxi.
While they were waiting, Eu Ddeum told her that he was so moved with her article regarding wanting a baby and he was willing to give her the baby she wanted. He then suddenly kissed her which was witnessed by a very shocked Yi Sang.
