Episode 1
Apparently, suicide is a major killer of mankind. According to WHO, around 700,000 people take their own lives annually from around the world and the major cause is family relationships or interrelationship with those around you.
And this is how we meet our main leads.
Qian Kaiyi garbed in his leather jacket, boots, jeans astride his powerful motorbike when he noticed a woman in hospital pajamas walking aimlessly on the busy motorway. She was for sure going to be hit by a truck but Kaiyi revved up and pulled her away from the incoming truck.
They both flew into the air landing on the ground. The woman was helped out but for dramatic effect, Kaiyi was left prone to the ground. He removed his helmet and smiled wickedly showing his gleaming white teeth.
Meanwhile, it got busy in the suicide centre when they received a call from a girl who was being bullied and being blamed for theft when she did not do it. No one would believe her so she thought the only way was to kill herself and they will be sorry.
The young girl was You Na.
He Dun calmed the girl down until a contact was alerted. The contact happened to be Kaiyi who climbed into the rooftop only to find that the doorway leading to it was locked. So he did some manly stuff and with a rope, which I thought he should have tied around him for health and safety, he actually threw down while he tied one end into some strong anchor, He then jumped down to catch the rope. 🤣🤣🤣
Kaiyi found You Na who had calmed down after He Dun appealed to her not to make her parents sad and blame themselves.
That sorted, He Dun went home only to find her mother unresponsive with a bleeding gash in her forehead.
He Dun was alarmed at first but then realised that her mother was totally and utterly bonkers🤣🤣🤣.
So poor He Dun told her mother off.
She got a call from a desperate child wanting to meet up. When she got there, the sister met her with her gang. The girl promptly soaked her with water while this was being recorded.
The girl blamed her for being a family wrecker who encouraged her mother to leave.
The people around them were askance at the unfolding story of a psychologist encouraging a woman to leave her children to her husband.
What did not know was that the mother has a terminal illness. A stage 4 cancer. She and her husband agreed that it would be too much for the children to lose their mother so they made her just abandon the family.
What?!!! A psychologist agreed to his?
As she was trending, He Dun decided to resign from work.
The story so far is rather stupid and fragmented but since, it has Yang Zi and Jing Boran, I shall persevere with this drama.
Episode 2
This drama is not really capturing my undivided attention. The script is just like a review notes in psychology 101.
Anyway, Qian Kaiyi was looking for He Dun.
With the aid of social media, he was able to find her immediately in a restaurant/club.
But she did not have time for him because she recognised him as the villain during high school. Their background story was…
He found her diary where she wrote a poem about her crush in school.
He then turned it into a song when he was doing his broadcasting.
She was so humiliated
And now he did not even know this but it seems they were fated to always meet because they were both called out.
You Na was attempting suicide again at the school swimming pool.
He Dun managed to save the girl but He Dun started cramping and would have died if Qian Kaiyi did not turn up in time to save from drowning.
He gave her CPR and later teased her about the CPR and her first kiss;
Jing Boran is gorgeous and so is Yang Xi. But why has she never changed her hairstyle?
Episode 3
He Dun found out the root of the problem of the suicidal You Na.
She saw her father buying expensive things for her classmate, Zhe who is her rival at school.
Episode 4
It turned out that You Na’s parents have been divorced for ages but continued to pretend to be still married for the sake of You Na until she passes her NCEE.
Anyway, He Dun cleared the issue of her father buying things for Zhe. Apparently her father felt indebted for the support given to him my Zhe’s parents when he was made redundant at work. So to return the favour, he had been gifting Zhe things when her father died.
Finally You Na felt relieved that she was not the problem of her parents’ marriage. She does not have to hurt herself to get attention
Meanwhile, Qian Kaiyi had been helping He Dun who had moved in with her rich friend, Lili.
Becasue he had been helpful, He Dun finally accepted his offer of doing an agony aunt sort of thing radio show.
A rather mysterious Ye Jiahui had moved in next door to Lili and Qian kaiyi was rather jealous of him.
