Quick Precis
Hong Ji-ah is the owner of a real estate agency, who cooperated with a con-man Oh In-beom to solve a 20-year-old mystery.
Episode 1
Hong Ji Ah is a real estate owner, the CEO of Daebak Real Estate. Her agency specialises in haunted places which she would exorcise and sell them off on behalf of the owners for a percentage.
For all her expertise in exorcism, she had failed to exorcise her own mother. And this was the reason why she can’t sell her house and agency despite hoodlums forcing her to.
In her line of work, she needed an assistant, a natural exorcist, who she drives the bad spirit and trap them in the assistant prior to killing them off.
She realised that Hyung Sik was not enough for the job.
Meanwhile, Oh In Beom is a fake exorcist who fools his clients with pseudo-technology from Stanford University, where he graduated.
What he does was create eerie disturbances and then fob off his gadgets to affected homeowners, making them think that his devices were preventing the haunting from bad spirits.
One day, Oh In Beom happened to work on the same property with Hong Ji Ah. The property was haunted by two spirits and during the exercise, one spirit went to Hyung Sik and the other more evil ended up in Oh In Beom’s body.
Really interesting beginning. I so glad to see Jung Yong Hwa again.
And of course the ever beautiful Jang Nara who seemed ot have found the fountain of youth and agility. She is getting even better looking as she matures.
Episode 2
Ji-ah reckoned that Oh In Beom, though engaged in trickery and fakery business was actually a very strong psychic.
She invited him to her office/house to talk business but he got his hope up when she told him to go up the stairs.
Oh In Beom was rather surprised and thought that Ji-ah is so enamoured with his good looks she cannot wait to get him into bed.
He was not complaining to climb up the stairs without much trouble. Apparently this was a test; previous psychic applicants were unable to climb up to the top of the stairs. Jiah’s mother pushed them down even before the third step.
Jiah asked Oh In Beom to stand in a circle of salt and then she began her ritual and asked him to move out of the circle next to her mother’s spirit who can’t see.
He lost consciousness and saw in a dream her mother killing her uncle.
