Episode 1
It is a typical high school drama. A feisty female meets a rather uninterested cold male classmate. But Li Ting Ting is such a good actress so this drama looks fresh.
It started three months ago. Fang Xue failed the GaoKao so her parents insisted that she repeat the year for her to get a chance to go to a good university.
Fang Xue was not too bothered repeating the year but somehow fate seemed to rain tiresome incidents on her.
Her class was dreaded by almost the whole school, including the faculty, staff and students. Her class are made up of repeaters who are more or less a source of trouble.
It did not help that Fang Xue herself blew up the toilet causing the school to flood.
The Principal decided to send the repeaters to a Branch high school.
When Fang Yue and her friends went to investigate the school, it was not fit for purpose.
So they went back to the Principal and begged her to give them second chance.
The Principal said she was willing to give them another chance if her class score 500 points.
They knew that this was impossible. They needed a miracle to score that much.
It so happens that there was not semi-repeater in another class.
He was Wei Lei. The difference between him and them was that he was a brilliant student but somehow he had to drop out of university. He had to repeat the year to go back to uni in another course.
Wei Lei was playing basketball with his friend when some students started bullying them. Before it got nasty, Fang Xue intervened.
Wei Lei was grateful when she got frogmarched to the principal’s office but she did not mention his name.
He also realised that she was the girl he pushed in the puddle so he could save his rock collection.
He heard her classmate worrying about the exam.
They were about to start the examination when Wei Lei turned up.
The class score was still off .20 to make 500.
As it was a deal with the principal, they knew they had to go so they pack all their things to move to the dilapidated branch.
A gorgeous teacher came chasing their bus. He said the principal had a change of heart. They could return to school.
When they asked who he was, he told them that he was their new homeroom teacher.
Episode 2
Not liking the lead girl’s character. She is too annoying.
She’s supposed to have promised the principal that she would be working hard towards her studies, but she was creating so much mayhem.
She was trying to cut class to go to a concert or something. She was by the fence of the school when she found Wei Lei truanting as well.
Wei Lei managed to easily jump the steel fence but she ended up hanging by the fence as her jacket got caught in the railing.
She asked Wei Lei for help but he just left while the guards came to get her.
Wei Lei later was punished and had to write 500 words of introspection letter, while she thought that it was unfair that she had to write 5000 words.
She was cleaning the classroom when she toppled Wei Lei’s backpack. She found a shoju comics in his backpack. She took it. When he came back to their classroom, she was running around with it and won’t give it to him.
One of their sneaky classmates, saw her putting the comics back on top of the back cabinet as Wei Lei could not be bothered to get it back from her.
When she went back to their classroom later, she saw that classmates were laughing and sniggering.
The Principal came to see what the commotion was.
Again, Fang Xue ended up in the Deputy Principal’s office.
All the shenanigans she made she blamed them on Wei Lei, who she saw was in a hurry to leave. She took the opportunity to delay him as she seemed to love being annoying.
They both fell on the stairs and he used his arm to cushion her fall, which she did not deserve as she is really annoying! 🙂
Anyway, she was cleaning the leaves on the ground. She went to put the collected leaves into the bin when she saw the guards laughing at what was on the CCTV. It was her when she was hanging on the fence. She was taken by the guard before Wei Lei arrived with a ladder. So he did not abandon her. He was going to rescue her.
She had been annoying him for nothing.
Episode 3
Fang Xue, surprise, surprise ended up in the Deputy Principal’s office yet again. This time for cheating.
She and Gu Sheng were at the staff office to photocopy a review paper.
Gu Sheng found the test paper for physics and told Fang Xue that they could use it.
Fang Xue was having second thought but their schoolmate Li Da Lai overheard about their conversation.
So he grassed on them.
They were both going to be expelled but the Principal arrived back from his conference and saw Gu Sheng and Fang Xue redoing their exam in the middle of the playing practise good social distancing.
The heat of the sun got to Fang Xue who fainted as soon as she finished her papers.
When she woke up Wei Lei was there keeping vigil.
He told her that she and Gu Sheng will be given another chance.
Fang Xue got a good score.
Wei Lei gave her a tonic and he took one as well because he said he was also suffering from heatstroke.
School medic found them being so sweet to one another. She left them alone after commenting that it’s puppy love.
Episode 4
Wei Lei is very protective of Fang Xue. And she needed his protection after she got into trouble again with all her classmates.
It started with her becoming the class monitor.
She was diligent in her role as a monitor. During a very hot period that it was easier to stay and study in the classroom, supplementary meals were sent to their classroom.
Fang Xue went to get Mung Bean Ice Water to distributed to her classmates. She herself did not get to eat or drink anything as she was called by the principal.
When she got back everyone including Wei Lei were vomiting and had diarrhea.
Li Da Lai immediately blamed Fang Xue for the Mung Bean Ice water she gave out.
The class was like feral children hounding Fang Xue to drink a left over Mung Bean ice water when Wei Lei returned from the toilet and said that it was not the Mung Bean that made them unwell, it was the supplementary meal which was later confirmed by their gorgeous homeroom teacher.
The teacher told off Li Da Lai for his behaviour. He told him that no man is an island. They need to stand together because divided they would fall.
Later on, the teacher called Fang Xue to ask how close she was to Wei Lei.
Episode 5
Fang Xue was her most annoying.
She doesn’t really have much interest in studying.
Wei Lei had not told his father that he was retaking Gaokao but his stepmother seemed supportive of his decision though she told him to talk to his father.
Poor Fang Xue was being victimised by girls who had a crush on Wei Lei.
Anyway, Wei Lei thought that Fang Xue has a crush on him.
Though he was secretly tickled he told Fang Xue that he will never like her so she was wasting her time liking him.
Fang Xue laughed it off and told him not to worry. She will not like him.
But Fang Xue finally got so desperate to improve her grades especially when she had a wake up call from her classmate and dormmate who told her that they were from the same sort of family who could not afford to send them to school abroad so they had to make sure to get the best score in Gaokao to be able to secure a decent university.
After this talk, she studied really hard helped by little study notes inserted in her workbooks. She thought it was her dormmate but it was from Wei Lei.
