Episode 1

This drama seemed to be centered on the women of the Cheng Family.

Anyway, it was vacation time.  It was Chinese New Year.

The ever-busy Cheng Man was taking a much-deserved holiday to Sanya with her daughter but when they were already aboard the plane, she realised that they were not going to Sanya but to Harbin.

Her daughter confessed that she changed their ticket for Harbin because she wanted to see her grandma and grandpa, Uncles and aunties, and cousins.  She’d missed them.

Poor Cheng Man knew that her much-longed-for rest and relaxation is gone.

What she did not know was that there is more that is coming her way.  Kong Ling Qi for a start is hunting her all the way to Dongbei so he could clear up the negative image she has on him.  He feels that this was an important exercise because Cheng Man is a venture capitalist while he is a CEO of a corporate financing company.

Their contretemps started when Cheng Man was just starting.  Kong Ling Qi was invited by a corporate party when Cheng Man was one of the organiser.  Cheng Man clearly heard Kong Ling Qi disparaging the Moet & Chandon champagne for the guest.  He said that it was fake as it did not taste like the real thing.  Anyway, he needs Cheng Man’s championship now but she was being elusive.

In Dongbei, Cheng Shu runs a homestay located in the mountains.  Often the inn does not get any visitors but she had to keep a full staff. As this was the case, her business is heading to bankruptcy.

The third girl is their cousin, Cheng Miao.  She is a figure skater but she often feels she is really not good enough. She works part-time in a coffee shop.  One day her mother turned up out of the blue saying her husband, Cheng Miao’s father is as good as dead, to her anyway.
