Episode 1
It started with Yan Dan walking backwards away from a man who seemed to have disowned her. She was thinking that all her sacrifices had come to naught and if only she knew that it would end this way, she would have stopped herself from doing what she did. She then started falling to her death?!!
500 years ago…
The six realms had come together to await the birth of the twinflower fairies, descendant of Flower Leaf Lotus. It was deemed auspicious to have twins who came from the same root.
Unfortunately, it wasn’t before long when the representative from the demon realm start to create havoc when he decided that their realm should be the guardian of the fairies. The Celestial Jade Pool became a battleground.
It was going out of control but then Sovereign Lord Ying Yuan turned up and put a stop to battle.
By this time the twins had transformed into teenagers. The demon soldier managed to graze the arm of one of the girls, the elder one.
Sovereign Lord was very bureaucratic. He advised the demon master that if he had any gripes then he must consult the Supreme Majesty.
Out of nowhere, the Supreme majesty appeared and castigated the demon master. He said that he can be contacted by various social media, falcons, mediation, etc.
Anyway, the demon master was suitably chastised.
After matters had settled down, Sovereign Lord Ying was asked to name the twins. He called the older girl Zhi Xi, who he foretold will be the weaker one, and the younger girl as Yan Di.
500 Years Later…
Yan Di and Zhi Xi are following different career paths. Yan Di lazed around at the Pavillon Library. She wanted to be the Shakespeare of her time.
Meanwhile, Zhi Xi was climbing the career ladder of success. She was working towards gaining her divine headpiece ascension which will level up her immortality.
She does try to encourage Yan Di to take the exam as well but Yan Di said that it was not for her.
Anyway, Yan Di has a part-time job as a housekeeper/gardener for the Celestial Deity.
The celestial deity became very fond of Yan Di because she is a very intelligent girl and can easily solve the Weige game that Supreme Lord Yangying had created for the brainy.
She found something mysterious in the garden. A poor turtle would be turned upset down again and again.
After careful investigation, Yan Di found out who was the culprit.
Meanwhile, she went to visit her sister at work. In her excitement to see Zhi Xi, she made her sister drop the Supreme Lord’s favorite belt and broke its jade buckle.
Yan Di immediately said that she broke it so her sister won’t get into any trouble.
Episode 2
Yan Di was punished for breaking Supreme Lord’s jade buckle. The punishment would thrill any girl who had been crushing on the Supreme Lord. He punished her by making her his personal maid.
She was surprised to find out that the Supreme Lord was the turtle culprit.
Anyway, the Supreme Lord told her to play Weigi with him.
When at the Pavillon Library, Yandi would be busy writing her novel about heroic deeds. One day, someone just turned up. Instead of being afraid of the sudden appearance of a young guy in her domain, she kindly recruited him to be her disciple and named him Yu Mo.
What she did not know was that YuMo is a demon.
The Magical Pavillon Curator was always trying to pick up a fight with Zhi Xi. She said that Zhi Xi is secretly jealous of her sister, which Zhi Xi denied vehemently.
Episode 3
Yan Di and her devoted disciple Yumo were in the garden when they were attacked by a demon-possessed tree. Yumo can’t get out of the twines. It was lucky that merman Luming was able to summon Star Lord Ji Dou to help Yumo and those bound to the trees.
Ji Dou and Yingyuan later on found out that there was a secret portal where the demons and their spy could come and go into the Celestial Realm.
Ji Dou was all for closing the gateway by Yingyuan said that it is best to observe first who are the demon spies within the Celestial Realm.
Yan Di continues to bicker with Yingyuan. She even tried to poison him but he was always so many steps ahead of her and her tricks.
But she tried and even learn new magic tricks to get even with him.
When she returned the newly embroidered belt to him, he gave her a jade bracelet. At first, she was happy and became rather bashful but she soon found out that the bracelet was a talisman that would always keep her 15 steps away from him. If she moves near him, she is immediately expelled backward.
Episode 4
The Magical Curator, Yindeng had been promoted so she visited Supreme Lord Yingyang to give him a parting gift of a calming belt which she made herself.
Yingyang did not like her dismissive attitude toward lower-level immortals. Yindeng was so dismissive of Yandan’s effort of repairing the belt. She called the repaired Hunyuan Jade Belt as mediocre and not worthy to be worn by a Supreme Lord.
Yingyang disagreed. He said that it was more his style rather than the expensive gift she was foisting on him so he turned the gift down.
It this is enough humiliation, she learned that Yan Dan had been given the privilege of reading the Book of Immortality., a classic of Yanxu Heavenly Palace.
Yindeng was on the warpath and was about to attack Yan Dan but the Supreme Lord was there in a flash and reminded her that she was no longer a member of Yanxu Heavenly Palace as she had been promoted so she was overstepping her position by punishing Yan Dan.
This was not the end, Yindeng decided to make Yan Dan’s life less idyllic. She stopped Yandan and drama and opera troupe from using the stage.
Yan Dan was not having it so Yindeng used her power over Yan Dan, but Yandan is a natural. She used what she had read from the tomes of classics that Yingyand had been making her to copy.
Yindeng ended up on the floor, completely overpowered by Yan Dan. As she cannot touch Yan Dan, she took her ire on Zhixi.
She told Zhixi that Yandan was stealing what was rightfully hers. She then started to say that she was not surprised because everybody knows that Zhixi is the weaker of the twin.
Anyway, Yan Dan begged Yingyang to let her help her sister on her task and find the spy in the palace.
Zhixi witnessed Yan Dan’s power as well as her closeness to Yingyang who Yan Dan hugged tightly.
Episode 58
Tang Zhou was telling Yandan and Yumo that the Waist Sword was tainted with Huaqi’s heavenly aura, which eant that the Magical Pavilion had performed Breath Silencing Spell on it. He told the two that they must keep it secret that they found out about it otherwise there will be a Thunder Strike.
Yumo wanted to know who will likely be stricken with the thunder.
Tang Zhou opined that he hoped it won’t be Simu.
A weakened and battered Simu was being attended to by Huanqin, who told him that he will exonerate his clan, the Three Winged Raven once he had reclaimed the throne..
Huanqin added that Simu had lost his immortal spirit but still has his spiritual power.
Simu had told Huanqin that everything is part of Yingyuan’s plot. He also added that Yingyuan will be cultivating to recover his immortal spirit which meant Yingyuan will be in his most weak condition.
Simu told Huanqin that he wanted to rest so Huanqin left him.
But as soon as Huanqin had left, Simu blew himself up using the Breath Silencing Spell
Tang Zhou, Yandan, and Yumo continued to discuss the procedure of reacquiring Tang Zhou’s immortal spirit.
Yumo said that Tang Zhou will be very overwhelmed by the stone of energy so he proposed to go in with him, Yandan said that she was not as strong as them but she will join using her Lotus spirit.
Tang Zhou refused them both saying that he should handle it himself after all he is the Heavenly Emperor.
Yumo told Tang Zhou to stop being so silly. Tang Zhou had lost his immortal spirit so he is weak compared to him; even Yandan told Tang Zhou to forget about his pride for once.
They heard Simu’s sacrifice but also about Huanqin.
Ling Jiang of the Asura clan warned Tang Zhou that the procedure will be complex and can go wrong so be prepared for all eventualities. But at the same time, Ling Jiang asked to stay with Tang Zhou during the war of Genesis.
Zhaolan asked Yumo why he had not confessed to Yandan yet before it is too late.
Yumo loved Yandan unconditionally. All he wanted for her is to be happy and safe
