Quick Precis

Na Woo Soo is living a contented life.  He comes from an affluent family, he is handsome and excels at school.

This all changed when Ga Du Sim transferred to his school.  Suddenly he can see dead people.

Ga Du Sim, you see was fated to be a shaman but she was running from her destiny.  She wanted to live as a normal girl.

Episode 1

Very young Ga Doo Shim was with her grandma when grandma noticed a boy on the rooftop presumably getting ready to jump to his death.

Grandma dragged Doo Shim to see the boy but halfway to the rooftop, her grandma stopped as she can no longer climb the rest of the stairways to the top.

Grandma encouraged Ga Doo Shim to rescue the boy but Doo Shim refused. She reminded grandma that she already said before that she will not become a shaman like her and her mother.

Do shim left Grandma but she felt bad so she went back to grandma who taught her a quick incantation to say to the spirit possessing the boy.

Doo Shim was not able to save the boy but grandma said that she did good because she was able to capture the spirit as soon as it left the body of the dead boy.

All of a sudden, a demon came out of nowhere and stabbed grandma.

She then saw the spirit of grandma leaving with he the ghost of the boy who had just jumped to his death.

The boy wanted to say goodbye to his mother.

Episode 2

A few years later…

Doo Shim transferred to Songyoung High School.

She was warned immediately by another student that she must try to be a good student because those who come last in the rankings would be driven to suicide.

She then got a bit a bullying because some of the classmates were blaming her for the death of another student.

They said that she was with the boy prior to his suicide.

Doo Shim thought she could not be dealing with this kind of crap.

All she wished was to turn 18 and she would be independent of it all.

She was just packing her schoolbag to leave when part of her spirit seemed to have transferred to the popular boy of the class Na Woo Soo.

Because he surprised her by hugging her tightly and telling her not to leave.

So cute.  The episodes are less than 30 minutes each which leaves you wanting for more.

The two leads are winsome and there was a surprise character who is the otherworldly cute ghost of the boy she was not able to save ten years ago.

Episode 3

Na Woo Soo hugging Doo Shim was videoed by their classmate and when he saw it later, Na Woo Soo could not believe it because he could not remember it.

He dragged Doo Shim to speak with him outside in the classroom and asked her what had happened.  He made sure she knew that he was not into her despite hugging her.

Doo Shim understood this because when Na Woo Soo hugged her, it was her grandmother who was hugging her in actual fact.

Her grandmother possessed poor Na Woo Soo’s body and whispered that the ghost of 10 years ago was back in the school and killing the not-so-bright students.

Her grandma told her that it was now on her shoulders to combat the evil ghost, it was only her that could defeat it.

Doo Shim was still arguing with a grandma who was Na Woo Soo when they were both overcome by strong spirit and emotion they ended up collapsed on the ground.  The school principal witnessed this and called on the evil ghost to go back to the pouch he was holding.

When Na Woo Soo woke up in the school infirmary bed next to Doo Shim’s, he was completely disorientated especially when he saw a boy lying alongside Doo Shim.

Doo Shim woke up as well and told Hyun Soo to leave.  She confirmed to Na Woo Soo that he was looking at a ghost.

Na Woo Soo was so shocked.

Later that evening, he went knocking at Doo Shim’s house and was very insistent to speak with her despite Do Shim telling him that she will see him at school.

He pulled out a wad of money from his wallet and told Doo Shim to exorcise him.  Doo Shim returned the money back and told him that it was beyond her remit to stop his possession.  She has to find out how to do it but in the meantime, he needs to get used to seeing ghosts everywhere.

Having no choice, Na Woo Soo asked Do Shim to give him a preview of what being surrounded by ghosts.

With a sleight of her fingers, Na Woo Soo got the shock of his life.

Love this drama, it is so short, you are left wanting for more.

Episode 4

What is going on?  This interesting drama is becoming shorter and shorter.  It is less than 20 minutes in this episode.

Anyway, Do Shim made Na Woo Soo become aware of the ghost around him.  He got so frightened as the ghosts are really everywhere, under his bed, in the bathtub, on the chair facing his bed, etc.

Poor Na Woo Soo did not go to school because he was having a mini-breakdown.

His mother got so alarmed she called the Most Beautiful Shaman to exorcise him.

When Do Shim learned that her mother was going to Na Woo Soo’s house, she decided to tag along.

Her mother started her ritual but Do Shim told her to leave Na Woo Soo to her.  She told all the ghosts to go away.

Na Woo Soo confessed that he was really frightened.

She explained that the best way to make the ghost to leave him alone was to ignore them as if they were so ordinary.  The ghost usually became bored and leave if they don’t get the correct response.

Na Woo Soo told his mother that he and Do Shim will go for a walk.

They went to a tented eatery that sells street food.  The son of the owner was their classmate and he has a poor record in learning and test.

The boy at first said that he was not afraid to die but Do Shim told him that his dad would like him to study.

While Na Woo Soo was coaching his friend, Do Shim could just see the boy’s father looking very greatful.

Na Woo Soo to Do Shim back at her house but before he let her go in, he hugged her tightly because he would like to experience how it was like to hug her the first time.

Do Shim said that as Na Woo Soo runs towards his house her heart was racing with him.

Episode 5

Na  Woo Soo and Do Shim did everything to coach Il Nam but in the end, he was still at the bottom of the class.

Na Woo Soo was so annoyed with Il Nam because he gave him the probable answers to the test question but Il Nam said he was not bothered.

Then, the school principal let out the nasty spirit from a locked room, telling it to do its worst.

It immediately went to the school auditorium where Na Woo Soo and Il Nam were fighting just a moment ago.

Episode 6

Na Woo Soo and Do Shim are developing a special relationship over trying to save Il Nam from school demon.

Episode 7

Do Shim told Na Woo Soo that his special relationship with Il Nam was due to the fact that they were brother and sister in their previous life and that Na Woo Soo was Il Nam’s younger sister.

They were so cute.

Na Woo Soo then asked if Do Shim could see his future.

Do Shim  told him to close his eyes and asked him what he could see?

Na Woo Soo said that he could see her where eyes closed or opened. Does that mean she was his future?!!!  Aww Flirting 101

Anyway, they were interrupted by the arrival of Na Woo Soo’s parents. His mother saw Do Shim and gave her a slap and then commanded her son to get in the car.

Il Nam had gone back to help his mother in their street eatery, that is until a spirit took over him and brought him to the school.

Do Shim armed herself and going to school when Woo Soo called.

Na Woo Soo who was normally an easy going obedient son defied his parents and got out of the car. He called Do Shim who told him that she was going to school.

They found Il Nam who was now possessed.

Poor Il Nam fell off the window and lie bleeding on the ground where Na Woo Soo and Do Shim found him

The spirit of Il Nam came out of his body and was very distressed that he might be dead.

Do Shim listened to his heart and found it still beating but they had to hurry to take him to the hospital with a five-minute period.

Luckily the spirit of Hyun Soo was there and took over Il Nam’s body and went to the hospital in the shortest possible time.

Hyun Soo prostrate himself in one of the hospital beds where doctor saw him immediately.

The next morning Do Shim was called to the principal’s office but behind her was Na Woo Soo who came to support her.

So cute and so short.

Episode 8

At the principal office, Na Woo Soo’s mother was there with a teacher.  Then Na Woo Soo himself showed up.

The teacher gave Do Shim a choice of leaving the school or they will pass the matter to the police as Do Shim was there when il Nam fell from the rooftop.

Na Woo Soo told them that he was also there.

Anyway, the principal finally intervened and said to Do Shim that he will give her another chance but does not want anymore troubles created by her.

This was too much because as Do Shim walked into the bus stop, a classmate almost attacked her and forcing her to help her as Do Shim was a shaman.

Before Do Shim could do anything the girl ran off the same time as Na Woo Soo turning up.

They followed the girl in the loo.  The girl was about yo cut her wrist but Do Shim told her from outside the toilet cubicle to stop what she was doing.

The girl was not listening but then she heard voices of the cartoon characters she was drawing.  She got to curious she abandoned her plan of killing herself.

Na Woo Soo told the girl that she will not die because he and Do Shim will be the guardian of the school.

Meanwhile, Do Shim’s mother went to the school and met Na Woo Soo’s mother.  Do Shim’s mother suddenly felt the presence of something malevolent that so scared her.

At home later, she told Do Shim to transfer school at once.

Na Woo Soo was at school.  He went to a room where it was very dark.  With the light from his mobile phone, he started seeing dead people; dead students from the school and then one of them was Do Shim.
