Episode 1

Noh Go Jin is the CEO of GoTop.

Former janitor.

More than 190 IQ

Lives for money.  Hatred of onion.

Episode 2

Lee Shin Ah found out from a recent MRI test that she has terminal cancer, a brain tumor.

The tumour was exacerbated by stress from the unreasonable and demanding boss.

Lee Shin Ah resorted to pill popping and now the tumour

As she really have nothing to lose, she delivered her resignation paper in person at her boss’ house one evening with a suitcase in one hand and a mallet on another.

Her boss got rather scared but still would not apologise nor take responsibility with his willful actions.

Shinah opened her suitcase and released dozens of big balls of onions, the thing that Noh Go Jin hate most.

Gojin chased Shinah all over the place, including the garden.

Shina managed to get into her car but Gojin telephoned her.  She then got worried because it sounded like Gojin got into an accident.

She turned back and found him collapsed on the street.

He was ran over by a tutor he had just dismissed.  He was Kang Min.

Episode 3

Noh Go Jin ended up in the hospital and he had lost his memory.

Then a woman introduced herself as his fiancee.  She was Shinah.

Segi, best friend and co-founder of Gotop had no problem believing that Shinah is his fiancee.

Anyway, despite the amnesia, he had not lost his genius IQ.

Episode 4

Shinah started her revenge on Gojin by trying to gaslight him.  She moved her things, which are cheap and cheerful into his very tidy, very neat expensively furnished mansion and strewn them haphazardly in all the rooms.

Shina really did everything to make Gojin to be scared for his life.

But the ending to this episode is very tantalising.

Kang Min visited him in the hospital to make sure that Gojin does have amnesia.

Kang Min was so alarmed when Gojin seemed to know him and then Gojin asked him he thinks Gojin does have amnesia.

Episode 5

Gojin did not lose his memory but he did, he has got it back.  He asked Kang Min who told him to hit him with his car.

Kang Min maintained that he worked alone and he wasn’t thinking because he was drunk and drove.

He gave a very erudite talk to parents and students during a GoTop seminar.  Both Shina and Segi were thinking that no one would think Gojin has amnesia.

After the talk, they had a company dinner where everyone got drunk.

Kim Cha Bae could not hold his tongue and revealed that Gojin is engaged to Shina.

Shina was so nervous, she threw up on Gojin, a lot.

Gojin got home with Shina.  He then called his ‘cleaner’ to sort out the drunk Shina.

Shina woke up the next morning sleeping in a pristine duvet, pillow and quilt but in the middle of a street.

She was so embarrassed and annoyed and decide to make Gojin pay.  She took him shopping for her and used his black unlimited corporate card to buy her clothes, handbags, and accessories.  When he tried to remonstrate her, she pretended to be so upset and that he was so stingy.

Anyway, his first love, Baek Soo Yang had just moved into the apartment below.  Gojin remembered meeting her when he was just a lowly janitor.

Gojin pretended that he can’t remember her.

Kang Min surrendered himself to the police, this made Gojin think of the night when he was run down by Kang Min.  There was another man who came to see him but did nothing.  He remembered his watch.  Gojin suspects that the man was Segi.

Episode 6

I am loving this drama.  It is very underrated which is such a shame.

Anyway, Gojin continues to distrust Segi and everyone really.

Shina was driving him when she got a call from her uncle telling her father’s tractor had fallen into a ditch.  Without asking Gojin, she drove into her village where she learned that it was only the tracted that somehow fell into a ditch all by itself.  Her father was safe and sound at home.

Shina brought Gojin to her house where he met her family.

They were all admiring of how pretty Gojin was, that he had such a perfect face.

Gojin revealed that he was engaged to Shina.

Shina was mortified but suddenly Gojin was enjoying himself.

They were just about to leave when Gojin got spooked by a white lady.  He was so frightened he fainted and Shina had to let him sleep in the house.

Shina was reminded by her brother that she had to stay the night anyway as it was their mother’s death anniversary.

She was upset with herself for having forgotten it.   It was especially poignant for her because death will visit her soon.

After the prayers, the father’s friend came to celebrate the anniversary and to cheer the father.

Gojin who had woken up was introduced to the friends and he was made to drink lots but cleverly Shina was able to substitute the drink with water.

They had more adventures during the short trip to the village.

When they were finally ready to go back to the city, they found that Gojin’s expensive car was loaded with boxes of potatoes which annoyed the OCD Gojin.

He kept moaning and insisted that they throw away the boxes of potatoes on the roadside.

Without a word but utterly fed up, Shina stopped the car by the layby and unloaded the car of potatoes.

She the. told Gojin to drive back to the city as she had to mind the potatoes.  She can’t bear throwing them away knowing how much tilling and toiling her father did for the potatoes.

Gojin drove off but after a while, he felt guilty so he turned back but Shina was gone with all her boxes of potatoes except for a lone potato that had fallen.

Shina had taken a taxi and unloaded her boxes then gave them away to the passing public.

At the traffic lights, she overheard a delivery guy talking to his mother.  He promised to visit her soon but then he got run over by a car and died on the spot in front of Shina.

Shina was traumatised.  But she thought that she was luckier than the dead guy because at least she had time to say her goodbyes to her loved ones.

Episode 7

I am really loving this drama.

Shina started putting her affairs in order.  First off, she decided that she will discontinue her revenge on Gojin because she noticed that despite his arrogance and egotism, at the end of the day, he was just like her, licks the lid on a yogurt pot, love at films, etc.  She realised that it was not really his fault that she was dying.

She then gave her letter of resignation to Segi to pass to Gojin.

Segi seemed like he has a hidden agenda because he said that anything that has something to do with Kang Min must be reported to him and not to bother GoJIn.

Shina went home and gave her brother an extra allowance.  She felt that although he looks grown-up, he is still a child.

She then made a father a feast.  She told him that her brother will leave soon and he will be alone.  She told him to get himself another wife.

Her father was not enthusiastic of the idea.

Then she went back to Seoul.

She got a call from the doctor.  She heard that she was misdiagnosed.  She was not dying.

Ooppss so she went back stealthily to Gojin’s house and found him already asleep. She quickly pack her things to leave but then he was waiting for her in the living room.

He then told him that he had never had amnesia.

Episode 8

Gojin punished Shina by making her sign a hostage contract.  She had to do everything he wanted until she paid up a billion dollars in damages she made to his things.

Ma Eun Jung had given the new math study guide that Gotop was just about to release to Park Yang Tae who copied it word for word.

It was sold out immediately.

But instead of being miffed, Gojin found the situation rather interesting.

He had Shina made up and polished to attend an education gala with him.

She looked lovely in red which surprised him.

Baek Soo Young attended as well and she was memorable in a green gown.

Park Yang Tae was feted at the gala for the success of his study guide but then his assistant showed him trending complaints that his study guide was full of errors.

Gojin suddenly appeared from his shoulder and whispered that Park Yang Tae was a thief.  He copied GoTop study guide but Park Yang Tae was too stupid to find the 15 mistakes that Gojin intentionally added to the guide before publishing it.

Park Yang Tae collapsed because he drank a glass of champagne with sleeping pills.

Anyway, Baek Soo Young was announced to be the new CEO of Baek Edu which did not go well with Gojin.

Baek Soo Young apologised to Gojin for not telling him first but Gojin said that it has nothing to do with him.

Then he introduced Shina to Soo Young as his fiancee which shocked Soo Young.

Gojin then made his apologies to leave the gala early as his fiancee was not used to an event like it.

Gojin and Shina were walking hand in hand when they were followed by Soo Young who called out to Gojin.

Gojin and Shina were on the stairs.  Gojin whispered to Shina that he would need three seconds as desperate time calls for desperate measures.  He then kissed Shina.

Shina was surprised but she went with the flow.  The kiss was more than three seconds and if it was indeed three seconds, then it was three seconds too long for the heartbroken Soo Young.

Meanwhile, Segi just got home.  He was in his dressing room when he removed his watch and put it among his watches which is just like the watch Gojin saw a man wearing while standing over him when Gojin was run over.

Episode 9

Gojin found out that Segi had been meeting Park Yan Tae.

He is more certain of his suspicion that Segi wanted him dead but this broke his heart becasue Segi had been with him through thick and thin.

Gojin had only 5k in his account which was impossible to start his business but in came Segi who gave him every penny of his savings.  Between them, they work night and day to get the online review centre to the top.

Episode 10

Segi was testing Gojin if he really has amnesia.  He forced Gojin to eat a peach knowing that Gojin has an extreme allergy to it.

Gojin did not want to reveal that he did not have amnesia so he ate a peach; a few minutes later he started choking.

A doctor was called and so did Shina, who stayed up looking after him until she fell asleep by his bedside.

Gojin was surprised that she was there.  It made him happy but then the more he looked at her the more he got sad; he started thinking that even she would leave him one day

He asked her later to have dinner with him.  During dinner, he gave her a brown envelope and told her to rip it.  He then said that she was free.  She was no longer indebted to him and she was fired.  She doesn’t have to turn up at work the next day or come to his house.

Gojin though started missing her immediately, he sees her image everywhere.

He went to the bedroom where she stayed at his house.  He really missed her and then he found the little yellow journal Shina kept.

Reading it rather shocked him.  He went to look for her but then he could not find her.

Shina was at Gotop packing her things.  As a last thing to do, she went to his office and there he found her.

She tried to leave but he would not let her.  She asked him what was his deal.

He looked at her seriously.  He then asked her to date.  Awww

I think he thought that she was dying as she had written her journal.

Love this drama.

Episode 11 

He read her diary and felt really sad and guilty for making her ill so he started to take responsibility for her.  He kept asking her to start dating.

And he was really protective of her.

Seeing that he was really serious in his pursuit of her, they started dating.

Segi was doing his best to remove Go Jin from his position as CEO but at the moment he was failing in his plotting.

His latest ploy was to get Go Jin embroiled in some fraudulent transactions.

Go Jin was the ideal boyfriend.  He also loves Shina’s family.

Shina’s father was not at all shocked when he and Shina’s uncle who came to visit found her and Go Jin in her bedroom. All he said was when he was going to have grandchildren.

Episode 12

Go Jin was doing everything to make Shina’s life better. He told her that he will not let her go and that he will battle her illness together with her.

This stopped Shina. She asked him what illness.

He told her that he knew but he will cure her.  He then returned her missing journal.

She told him that she was not ill but he would not listen to her.

I must say she did not really try hard enough.  All she had to say was she was misdiagnosed.

As he would not believe her that she was not sick and wanted to take her to the hospital with him, she went.

Her doctor said apologetically to Go Jin that it was a misdiagnosis.

Back at the office, Go Jin was still shell-shocked and scolded Shina that she could have told him immediately that it was a misdiagnosis.  He looked like he was going to strangle her but he walked out.

Suddenly Shina realised that he was dating her because he felt guilty about making her ill.  He doesn’t love her.

Go Jin returned immediately and gave her the tightest hug telling her that he had to compose himself because he was so relieved that he was not going to lose her like all the others in his life.

They became more loved up than ever.

Meanwhile, her useless best friend found her diary and told her toy boy, Shina’s brother, that Shina was dying.  She’s got cancer.

When Shina got back home with Go Jin, her best friend and her brother were waiting for her looking very upset. They told her that they know she was very ill.

Go Jin could not help smirking because he had been there before.

Anyway, Shina told them that it was a false alarm but the two would not stop so Go Jin save the situation by revealing that the best friend and Shina’s brother are dating.

Baek Soo Young asked Go Jin to meet up.  When they did she told him that she knew he had no amnesia.
