Episode 1
Blurb: During Ancient times, the land of iridescent clouds opened up. There the six realms came into existence. The realms are classified into different strata. Above the clouds is the Heavenly realm where the current leader of all the realms resides. This being is Supreme.
The Heavenly Realm is a busy place; it is where the immortals and deities gather together. They have their own duties and tasks to perform.
Xiang Yun is a deity who is in charge of the marriage pavilion. She sees to all the marriages in all six realms.
The gods who are working at the marriage pavilion listen to the prayers of the singles. The gods see to the matchmaking for compatibility between the couple wanting a union. The successful ones will have a marriage prayer book created for them complete with Red Thread of Fate.
But there is suddenly a problem at the Marriage Pavilion. The Red Thread Master was stressed to the limit. He has only seven days to find a match to the Immortal Chu Kong. So far he can’t match him.
Xiang Yun said that she will take on matching the 50,000-year-old Immortal Chu Kong. How hard could it be?!!!
Chu Kong is the god of war. He managed to prevent evils from ruling the realms but it meant he lost his primordial spirit. He had been at the Heavenly Realm for 30,000 years and yet he has not recovered his old spirit.
Xiang Yun started a love auction for Chu Kong, the girls tried to outbid each other to be the wife of Chu Kong but a princess showed up with the rare Nawu Stone.
Unfortunately, the Nawu Stone was an artifact that could bring back a dead demon leader to life so as soon as the clan ascertained the whereabouts of the stone, they gatecrashed the Heavenly Realm.
Jin Lian managed to take the Nawa stone and was just about to sear Xiang Yun with his flame thrower sword when Chu Kong appeared.
Even from the back, Xiang Yun seemed to have fallen for Chu Kong.
Chu Kong drove Jin Lian away.
Later on, Xiang Yun sneaked into Chu Kong’s domain. She was fascinated with the sleeping Chu Kong but she was alarmed when he woke up. To her surprise, she dropped the Magical love knot box which opened. It quickly bound their wrist together.
Chu Kong was not happy about it and told Xiang Yun that he will cancel the Marriage Pavilion and get rid of her.
She ran away pursued by Chu Kong until they ended by the pond that would bring them into a different realm, it could be the mortal realm, boundless realm, or somewhere else.
Xiang Yun fell on the pond and as they were bound by an invisible red string, he fell as well.
They both ended up in the mortal realm with Xiang Yun turning into a cute tiger while Chu Kong was a ferocious wild boar.
She tried to be conciliatory towards him but he was not having it, but in the end, he did realise that she was loyal to him when she protected him from human hunters.
Episode 2
Xiangzi and Chukong are back in the heavenly realm. Chukong announced that Xiangzi will be his tribulation partner.
Xiangzi was not very happy because she had to do another 6 lifetimes or love tribulations with Chukong. Plus she was much too young for him. She is only 3,000 years old while he is 50,000.
The heavenly Emperor was asking Chukong that the fairy he had chosen must be extraordinarily beautiful as Chukong had never fallen in love before.
Chukong said that it had nothing to do with falling in love, but the love tribulation seemed to be working in getting back his primordial energy.
Princess Ying Shi came to confront Xiangzi about going in her place as Chukong in the love tribulation.
Xiangzi assured her that it was only a tryout, and the princess take her place. Xiangzi asked The Red Thread Master to remove the one on her wrist but the master told her that it was not as easy as that. Forcibly cutting it would kill her. She needed the help of Chukong to remove it.
Meanwhile, Jin Lian orders that the Nowu Stone is thrown into the mortal realm so it can find true love from lovers that it can absorb. It needs love to be able to wake the demon lord.
The Red Thread Master sympathised with Xiangzi so he said that he stole some pills from the goddess of faith so when Xiangzi goes to the mortal world she would be affected by the water of amnesia when she drinks it.
Xiangzi told the Red Thread Master that she did not want to leave him. He told her that life is about letting go. It is the only way to move forward.
Prince Xiu Ming recognised Xiangzi from long time ago but did not know him. Anyway, he elected to go with Xiangzi and Chukong to the mortal world.
Xiangzi drunk her water of amnesia which she added a pill. Princess Ying Zi also opted to go to the mortal world and hoping to meet and get together with Chukong.
Xiangyun was born to the Song Family. She is a much-loved daughter of her parents.
Her father took her to visit friends. There was a newborn baby boy, which was introduced to her as her future husband. The baby is Lu Changkong who they envisaged to be a great general one day.
Having drunk the diluted water of amnesia, Xiangzi has her memory intact so she is in control of the situation.
Episode 3
Xiangzi had a plan of sabotaging the love tribulation. She will lead young Changkong astray so his parents won’t allow him to marry her.
Unfortunately, instead of annoying Changkong’s parents, they are loving and admire Xiangzi’s creativity more.
During a von voyage dinner for Changkong and his father who were going to war to defend the border, Xiangzi sneaked in alcohol in his teapot.
Changkong got drunk and when they were alone later, he drunkenly told her that when he wins the war and upon his return, he will marry her.
Xiangzi was raging because the war only lasted two years instead of the usual five. She went to the temple for help. She then met the mortal Xiu Ming.
She also met the Nowu stone or goblin stone which has become a mortal man called Zihui who was trying to be very moral. Xiangzi saved him from a gang. In return, he gave her a bell which she could ring every time she needed him.
Back at Mount Moulo, Jin Lian was informed that the goblin stone had turned into a human. This made Jin Lian happy.
Changkong’s return was well celebrated because of his success in the war. But he somehow offended the Emperor and the court when he refused to accept a reward.
All he could think of really was Xiangzi who he was determined to marry before the year is out.
Episode 4
Xiangzi was doing everything to discourage Changkong from marrying her. She made him tagged along to carry her purchases from her shopping spree. She thought that he will be upset that she was spending so much but he assured her tenderly that once they are married, she will handle their finances and he will give all his salary and savings to her.
