Episode 1
I absolutely love this drama so much so I am watching it raw at the moment. O can’t wait for the subtitles. The current subtitles are the best so you had to fill in the gaps of make sense of what was going on yourself.
Anyway, Kwon Do Hoon and Kang Yoo Ra have been married for 10 years. They were about to celebrate the anniversary by going for a second honeymoon in Thailand.
But as always Kwon Do Hoon cannot be relied upon to show up even at the most auspicious times like the 100 days anniversary of their daughter’s birth. As a penance, Kwon Do Hoon shaved off his eyebrows.
Then another missed occasion, Kwon Do Hoon’s penance was to run around the grounds of their apartment building in just a pair of boxer shorts. All the ladies were so happy about how gorgeous Kwon Do Hoon was. His father and brother were so ashamed of Kwon Do Hoon’s antics.
He tells his family that his time in not in his control but that of his manager who does not believe in 9-5 working hours. He was always on the go for days and sometimes weeks without prior notice.
Actually, Kwon Do Hoon despite his bumbling and loud personality is a cold-blooded sniper. Trained to shoot and kill. His often away days were spent killing people.😭, the bad people to ensure national security.
When Kang Yoo Ra returned from Thailand, Kwon Do Hoon was waiting for her at the airport and as usual blamed Manager Oh for making him miss their Thailand trip.
Anyway, Yoo Ra made Do Hoon get out of the car in the motorway while she drove off without him. He ended up running after her which made it slightly satisfying for her.
Despite being annoyed with her husband, Yoo Ra loves her in-laws so much. She is devoted to her father-in-law, brother-in-law, and pregnant sister-in-law.
They were commemorating the mother-in-law’s death anniversary so Yoo Ra asked Do Hoon to come home early for once. He promised that he would. But they ended up waiting for him again.
When he finally came home, he said that it was Manager Oh’s fault.
While he was changing, there was a text on his phone. It was from Manager Oh. Yoo Ra replied to the text inviting Manager Oh to the house.
Everyone was surprised especially Do Hoon when the gorgeous Manager Oh turned up.
Episode 2
Manager Oh tried to court the family but Yoo Ra was not having it. And being the queen bee of the family, they sided with her despite the seductive gifts Manager Oh tempted and gave to them.
Manager Oh apologised profusely for often taking Do Hoon without notice at any time of the day or night. She explained the frenetic schedule of their business. Manager Oh even shed tears as she apologised and explained but Yoo Ra cried even harder.
Do Hoon knew his wife and knew Manager Oh lost the round.
Later on, Do Hoon told Yoo Ra that they should have another child as a sister to their precocious daughter, who has been bullying her kindergarten classmate to date her.
I am pretty sure that the rating for this drama would have been higher if there was a good subtitle. Come on Netflix, get this drama, and give it a good subtitle. It is really good and the cast is excellent, even the children are amazing.
