Episode 1

The blurb was so quick, can’t catch the subtitles fast enough but what I gathered was that once upon a time there were eight Outcasts with superpowers unique to each one. They started fighting against each other to take what one has for himself.  They fought bitterly until they all just vanished.

Then come the present time…

A drunk guy stumbled into a cemetery.  He sobered up pretty quickly when he noticed old graves have been dug up.  Then he saw ridiculous zombies holding bodies.

The man promised himself that he will never drink again and quickly skedaddled it home.

The next morning, he reported what he saw to the village elder.

Though graves were dug up only the body of Zhang Xilin was taken or missing.

The Village elder notified Zhang Chulan, a student of engineering.

Chulan returned home immediately.  While he was conferring with the elder of what happened a girl in a tractor suddenly turned up.

She said she heard that her grandfather’s body had gone missing.  She said she was Zhang Baobao, sister to Zhang Chulan.

Immediately, Chulan denied that he had a sister but Baobao had photo evidence.

The elder decided to keep out of this family squabble and leave them to it.

Baobao continued to say that she was his sister.  Chulan just ignored her.

He cooked braised Pork hock as an offering to his grandpa.  He took the food to the graveyard.  He then spotted Baobao digging not far away.  She suddenly started fighting zombies, she defeated all of them.  They were made of sand.  She spotted Chulan who she dragged to the grave she dug and pushed him into it.  She then started to bury him alive but more sand zombies turned up.

Later on, she noticed that Chulan was no longer on the grave.  Her boss came to ask what happened and where the body of Zhang Xilin was.  As she can’t say where it was, he told her to become a student at Chulan’s university so she can shadow Chulan.

Baobao found Chulan at uni.  She asked him how he managed to get out of the grave and fight off the zombies.

Chulan just ignored her.  Apparently, he has a superpower that he promised his grandpa never to use or reveal to anyone.

Meanwhile, Wang Ye, a Wudang Monk was rocking his monk outfit, the grocery store clerk noticed how handsome he was in his get-up.

Wang Ye went to the station to catch a train when all of a sudden a phantom train appeared before him and he was sucked inside.  He saw dead bodies everywhere.  And then he saw a grinning guy who seemed to be the perpetrator.  Before he could really think about it, he was pushed out and realised it was all a phantasmagoria.

After watching the first episode, I concluded that like Chulan, you need 100% patience to continue on.  This drama will not be to everyone’s taste.  It is too zany with lots of overacting.  The zombies are laughable.  But the appearance of Neo Hou as a Wudang monk makes me want to give it another chance.

Episode 2

100% perseverance.  You need this to continue watching this drama.

This looks like a college drama project.  It is as rickety as it can get.

Anyway, Chulan was seduced by Liu Yan Yan, an online blind date.  But Yan Yan is really the master of the Sand Thrall/ the silly zombies. She was working with the Quanxing Sect.

They got Chulan as they wanted to read Chulan’s memory so they can get back whatever Zhang Xilin had imparted to his grandson.

Chulan was later saved by Baobao and her boss and was taken to NDT, which is the HQ for the Outsiders but disguised as a courier company.

I must say there are funny moments.  I particularly like the scene when Baobao had to enter the passcode to open the door to their hidden room which looked like the HQ of Men in Black.

If you think remembering Google-issued passcode is impossible, Baobao’s passcode was ten times more complicated.

Xu Xiang, the Outcast master of NTD said that it was only right to have as complicated a password as can be as they work for the protection of mankind against other outsiders like the Quanxing Sect.

Episode 3

Chulan was shown by Master Xu what NTD was about.  They have arrested humans for deviant behaviours, especially perverts. 🤣. But Master Xu said that their ultimate goal was to find out the origin of the Outsiders.

This got more interesting.

Master Xu said that there are many other outsiders in the world, but the way they can be recognised was by their energy or what the ancients called the ‘qi’

Chulan wanted to know what a ‘qi’ is.

Master Xu opened a window into equipment and apparatus that could rival the Hadron Collider.  Apparently, Qi is Dark Matter.

Master Xu said that we live in a universe that is made up of an observable universe and a dark universe.  The Observable part only makes up 15% of the universe while the rest is the dark universe, made up of dark matter which is universal energy.

Master Xu reminded Chulan of his grandfather, Zhang Xilin who mysteriously died 10 years ago.

Chulan asked Master Xu if he knew anything about his grandpa’s death,

Master Xu said that there are many outsiders including Mout Longyo who was curious about what Zhang Xilin had.  They wanted to find out about the Qi Apotheosis.

Meanwhile, Lingyu’s master ordered him to find someone and test him if he was worthy to inherit Tianshidu.

The guy was of course Chulan who surprised Lingyu as Chulan has the Golden Brilliance only inherent to Mount Longyu’s disciples.

Episode 4

Lingyu was particularly harsh with the kind of test that he put Chulan through.  Chulan finally used his hidden qi which shocked Lingyu.

Still, Chulan needed Baobao to rescue him.

Later on, Baobao took Chulan to a remote and desolate building where she will be training him.  She realised that she had to transfer some of her own energy to Chulan to fully activate his hidden power.   So they had a mind meld.  Unfortunately, it has also woken up Chulan’s libido. Baobao invited girls to the house to see to Chulan’s needs.😂

Chulan was so overwhelmed with the attention, he told the girls to leave.

Baobao went too far with Chulan who walked out telling her that he was prepared to lose his life but never his dignity.

Baobao realised that she messed up.

Wang Ye told his grandad that he wanted to join the Celestial Contest at Mount Longyo.

His grandpa told him that he can’t because he would reveal a long-guarded secret of the Gate of Gale.

When Wang Ye went to see the hermit masters of the Wudang Sect in their dwelling cave, one of the masters was having a seizure and suddenly transported Wang Ye and himself to another realm where one of the original 8 Ousiders, the Big Ape materialised.  The Big Ape passed his prowess to Wang Ye who is now the successor to the Big Ape of Wudang Sect

Just bear with the first two episodes, from the third, it gets really better and more interesting and not so slapstick.

Episode 5

6 September 2023: Whoa it is back suddenly!

A drunk Zhang Chulan was picked up by Feng Sha Yan under the order of her father, the chairman of the All-Encompassing Guild.

When Zhang Chulan woke up, he was contentedly floating on a huge duck float.  He then saw Feng Sha Yan who was so pretty with her straight bob hairdo.

She took him to see her father, who immediately offered Zhang Chulan his daughter as a sweetener for Chulan to join the All-Encompassing Guild.

Feng Sha Yan felt annoyed with her father for treating her like a commodity but he told her that he can feel the Zhang Chulan has a pure heart and would treat her well.  He was only thinking of Feng Sha Yan’s happiness.

This explanation seemed to calm Feng Sha Yan down.

In the meantime, Bao Bao was far from being calm.  She was blaming herself for messing up with Chulan.  She decided that she must apologise to him before he get suckered to the All-Encompassing Guild.

The two guys at the office told her that she had to have a makeover before she met up with Chulan.  The first guy had her cosplaying as a schoolgirl.

Xu San said that was not the look to go for.  He then dressed her like someone going for an interview.

Liu Yan Yan, who had been punished and had a redemption came to the rescue and dressed Bao Bao in an age-appropriate outfit.  Unfortunately, Baobao, though looked sweet in her short dress and heels, she kept tripping because of her shoes.

To get to Chulan, she had to fight off the three cadres of the All-Encompassing Guild.

Meanwhile, Chulan was having the time of his life being massaged by Feng Shayan.  He told her that he had had a weird week being offered to join the NDT Express, Mount Longhu and now The All-Encompassing Guild.

Somehow Chulan upset Shayan so she showed him her superpower which is teleportation.  She can hit him with her super fast fist.

Feng Xintong, the young master of All-Encompassing Guild found the three cadres defeated on the floor and then he saw the gorgeous Baobao.

Baobao was otherwise engaged with fighting a new recruit of the All Encompassing Guild.  He was Jia Zheng Yu.  He was a good fighter and even Baobao admitted that he was a challenge.  So she took off her high heels and beat up Jia Zheng Yu.

He was kneeling on the ground when the ceiling caved in burying Jia Zheng Yun among the debris. Then Chulan fell on top of the debris.

He was surprised to see Baobao.  He told her that he was not going back with her.

Baobao, however, apologised to him humbly which surprised Chulan.

Then, Feng Zhenghao used the Eight Masters Spirit in the form of the black mist ogre.

Baobao tried to help but Chulan stopped her because he’s got it sorted. Feng Zhenghao was ferocious at first but he did stop because he does not want to create a scandal right on his doorstep.

Jia Zheng Yu dug himself out of the debris and threw his wooden spikes on Baobao.  Chulan was shocked.  He tearfully asked Baobao why she did not evade the wooden daggers.

Baobao told him that she was obeying his order not to move from where she was standing.

Baobao cannot be dying?!

Episode 6

Jia Zheng Yu was so proud of himself for having fell Baobao with hi Dragon-Piercing Awl.

Feng Zhenghao was not happy with the underhanded method Jia Zheng Yu used and told him so as he punished him.

Feng Zhenghao called his son, Xintong to use the Dispatch of Detained Spirit, their family heirloom that can bring the dead back to life.

Before Xintong could apply the full force of the family heirloom, Xu San and Su Xi turned up and picked up Baobao.

Chulan was so scared for Baobao but both Xu San and Su Xi were more concerned about the takeout they will get.  Chulan thought it was so surreal.

Then, they had a comatose Baobao lie on the floor.  Chulan felt really guilty and promised everything to Baobao.  He said that Baobao actually was the first one after his grandpa to really treat him as a family.  He said that for Baobao, he will train hard and will enter the contest at Mount Longyu.

To his consternation, Baoboa opened not only her eyes but her mouth.  She was starving and polishing the take out.

Xu San and Su Xi told him that Baobao has the power to self-cure. she can rejuvenate.

Anyway, Baobao trained Chulan hard.

Four competitors were going to enter the contest. Chulan, Wang Ye, Zhang Lingyu and Feng Shayan.

Wang Ye was getting premonition of Zhang Chu Lan as the ultimate demon who told him to make sure to stop his past self to do what he was doing now and to not find out what will happen.

The 10 Elders Outsiders have started to gather at Mount Longyu for the contest.

Master Lu JIn should his prowess which is the Infinite heavenly talisman.  He announced that whoever won the contest, he will personally pass to him the Infinite Heavely Talisman.  Some of the Elders were not too happy about it as the talisman might be too strong for young men.  Master Lu said that he will gamble on the young as he does not want a repeat of what happened a few years ago.

At the He Mansion, Xia He was celebrating her birthday with Hu Sheng and Hu Jie when Shen Chong came barging in.  He seemed to be her deranged boyfriend who is a loanshark.

Dou Mei also turned up. She is a psychiatrist.  Xia He told the brothers that Dou Mei has a rare gift.  She could read what is your heart.  She started with Hu Jie.  She said that he bought a gift for Xia He but was so embarrassed to give it to her.

She then read Hu Sheng who she said was planning to lure Xia He to a hotel room.  Hu Jie was not happy about.  She continued that big brother will kill the younger brother or the other way around because of jealousy.

Another visitor turned up.  It was Gao Ning who has the power for Twelve Bewitchment Array that can influence people to what he wanted to do and he wanted the two brother to fight each other for a seat to the dinning table.  The two brothers did not stand a chance in front of the Four Crazies: Xia He and Dou Mei (Wine & Lust) and Shen Chong and Gao Ning (Wealth & Qi)

As much as Shen Chong and Gao Ning were vying for Xia He, she herself had not gotten over her first love which happened to be Zhang Ling Yu.

Episode 7

Tianshidu

thje contest was well attended.  It was being held in a colleseum a la gladiators.

Episode 8

It was the start of the tournament. Chulan got through the first round and so did Baobao, Wang Ye, zhang Lingyu, the idol Zhu Ge Qing and Feng Shayan.

Episode 9

Baobao ensures that Chulan wins the tournament by hook or by crook so she would threatened his opponent before the contest.

Lv Liang turned up for a meet up with Chulan.  He said that he has unravel the qi to Chulan’s grandpa’s last memory before dying.

Lv Liang smirk because the killer of his grandpa was the closest to Chulan.  He then transferred the memory energy to Chulan and saw Baobao who looks like in the act of killing Grandpa.

I must say this beggars logic.  Surely if that was your last memory, you do not see yourself as if you were watching a movie.  You only see what your eyes could see.

Episode 10

Chulan laughed at Lv Liang in disbelief.  He said that when his grandpa died, Baobao would only be 8 years old.

Chulan did remember a man leaning in his car watching him as he cradled his grandpa’s bloody dead body. (The man was MasterXu of NTD Express).  Is Baobao a robot?

Baobao’s last opponent in the tournament warned Chulan that Baobao is not wha she seemed to be.  She has a colourless qi which means she is devoid of humanity.

Xu San came to get Chulan as Master Xu wanted to speak with him regarding a shape-shifter.

Chulan was with the Master but all of a sudden, Chulan started stabbing the Master.  But then the real Chulan was just coming in with Xu San.

The Chulan who stabbed Xu Xiang was a shapeshifter, Yu Huadu sent by the Sinister Pleasure.

Chulan, Baobao, Xu San and Xu Xi gathered round that dying Xu Xiang.

Chulan asked Baobao if she killed his grandpa.

Baobao confirmed that she did.

Chulan was raging but Master Xu told him to calm down.  He will tell him what really happened.

During the Year of Jiashen, a well dressed girl who had amnesia just suddenly appeared in their village.

They called her Wu as she can’t talk and had no memory where she came from or who she was.

The family who looked after her was Xu Xiang’s family.  His mother and dad did try to find out who Wu was and if there were missing young ladies in town but there was no information to be had.

The family grew very fond of Wu. Wu relaxed a bit and remember her real name as Feng Baobao but nothing else.

Baobao became a much love member of their family and yet Baobao can’t seem to return affection to then.  She was robotic but respectful. They had a good contented life.  Five years on, Xu Xiang grew up into a young man but Baobao remained the same, just like the 18 years old girl who first appeared to them.

Their good life ended suddenly when the bandits came and rounded all the villagers.  When Mr Xu tried to protect his family, he was cut in the throat.  At that moment, Baobao was coming back from collecting firewoods. She walked into an order that everyone should be massacred so there would not be any witnesses left.

Baobao went to Mrs Xu who was protecting Xu Xiang. Baobao told Mrs Xu that she does not want her crying.  What can she do to make Mrs Xu happy.

Mrs Xu said that she cannot be happy as her husband is dead but what she wanted was to see every single one of the bandits dead.

She only had to say it once because Baobao got into work.  She killed every single one of the bandits.  She was faster than their bullets.

Wow! the fighting choreography was amazing.

Episode 11

Instead of being grateful to Baobao, the villager pilloried her being a monster.

So Mrs Xu decided to leave and start over with Xu Xiang without Baobao who she just abandoned in their little hut.

40 years later Xu Xiang came looking for Baobao but of course she was no longer in the little hut they left her.

Xu Xiang got married and had his family.  His two sons Xu Si and Xu San worked with him at NTD Express. Xu Xiang continued to travel the world looking for Baobao.

At last he found her in Thailand.  Even after 40 years, she remembered him and recognised him. Xu Xiang took her back to NTD and worked with the agency.

Xu Xiang investigated the background of Baobao.  He found out that her existence had some connection with the Jiashen Calamity.

All that was involved int he calamity had died one by one.  Chulan’s grandpa was also involved.

On one of their mission, they found an outsider killing people.  The outsider was Chulan’s grandfather who was fatally wounded.

It turned out that the grandfather had been killing Outsiders.  He recognised Baobao but she did not know him. She asked him who she was. All he said was that she will find out through his grandson, Chulan.  He then asked Xu Xiang to drive him home as he wanted his body at home.  He asked Baobao to kill him as he was suffering too much from his injury but beforehand, he asked Baobao to look after Chulan from afar.  He then transferred his Qi Apotheosis to Baobao to give to Chulan at the right time.

Later on, Chulan found his dead grandpa just outside their cottage.

He did not know that over the years Baobao had been secretly protecting him.  She beat up those who bullied him.

The death of Xu Xiang was really emotional.  I even shed a tear.

Love this drama.

Episode12

Xu Si and Xu San will take over from Xu Xiang as masters of NDT Express.  The two officially introduced Chulan to the Grandmaster Lao Tian Zi, Grandmaster Lu Jin and Grandmaster Tian.  All of the grandmasters did not blame Chulan’s grandfather from going to the other side.  In fact, Grandmaster Tian showed his amputated arms and legs as a result of being loyal to Zhang Huaiyi.  They never blamed him.

The tournament resumed.

The next round was between Chulan and Tang Wenlong. Wenlong was determined to defeat Chulan as ‘zhang Huaiyi exterminated many in the Wenlong  clan.  Chulan was greeted with jeers from the public as he entered the arena.

But Chulan was a revelation.  Having been forewarned that if Wenlong uses his miasma cultivation the game is over.  So before Wenlong could prepare his miasma, Chulan threw his bombastic energy.  Then he made Wenlong implode in his own miasma.

The next fight was between Zhang ling Yu and lu Linglong.  It was the easiest duel,  One zap from Zhang Ling and it was all over.

The young competitors had a bit of a drinking party in the forest.  They were really getting drunk and encouraged a drunk Chulan to show them his gold brilliance.

Chulan drunkenly staggered into a mound and then opened his trousers and revealed his gold brilliance.

They clamour to make it brighter which he did and his audience were impressed.

Episode 16

Chulan defeated Zhang Ling Yu.

Any doubter was quickly was stupefied at the sheer power of Chulan.  It was a good win.

Episode 17

It was the day of Chulan receiving his award.  For some reason he turned down Master Lu’s Infinite Heavenly Talisman.  He reason that it would be more trouble for him as he already has the Qi Apotheosis.  Master Lu offered it to Zhang Ling Yu who also turned it down but he remembered that Master Zhang Zhiwei asked him to do something out of the ordinary so he accepted the talisman.

Meanwhile, Chulan was later ushered to Master Zhiwei’s temple where he will be passing the Tianshidu to Chulan.

While  this was going on, outside the Sinister Pleasures with the four vices came to attack Mount Longyi.

Baobao was distracted while Master Lu and Lingyu were overpowered.

Back at the temple, Master Zhiwei was unable to transfer the Tianshidu to Chulan despite having tried three times already.

Chulan finally said that he really did not want the Tianshidu.

Episode 18

Grandmaster Zhang was so annoyed, he chucked Chulan out of the room.

Grandmaster followed him out.  He was told that Mount Longyu is under attack. He just showed mild annoyance and singlehandedly defeated everyone without losing his composure.

Meanwhile, Baobao was nowhere to be seen.

Chulan from being the tournament hero turned back to his hapless persona who was defeatist and self-pitying when he was cornered by Shen Chong who tried to suck out his qi.

He was wingeing that he was so tired and he just want to have an uncomplicated life when his grandpa entered his befuddled brain once again.

He told Chulan that the energy of the world is his to control thru his Qi Apotheosis. Finally, he went back to Shen Chong who continued to suck Chulan’s Qi.  But this time the qi work against Shen Chong who imploded.

As Shen Chong had been defeated, Chulan continued to look for Baobao.  He shouted into the air that they should meet up back at the temple mansion.  He heard Baobao agree.

Meanwhile, Grandmaster found his disciple Zhang Lingyu getting turned on by Xia He rather than protecting the Temple.

Zhang Lingyu said that he was trying to contain Xia He but Grandmaster said that if he really wanted to, he could have done it sooner, instead he was making out with the girl amidst a battle at Mount Longyu.

The Grandmaster sent Lingyu away while he had a talk with the feisty Xia He who used her deadly bone scraper on the unaffected Grandmaster.

He told her that she should do what she wanted to do for herself and not what others expected her to do.

Grandmaster then went to find Grandmaster Lu who was in the middle of a death-defying rebirth cultivation.

The process was so intense that it can send one deraged.  He had to make Grandmaster Lu take a potion to clear his mind.

When Lu was compos mentis, he was shocked that he had killed Grandmaster Zhang.

Grandmaster Zhang laughed.  He said before he commence the procedure he protected his fatal points so he was invinsible.

The fight and acting between these two senior actors and the highlights of this episode/drama.

Episode 19

This a rather poignant episode.  Poor armless and legless Second Grandmaster Tian Jing Zhong was found murdered.

His murderer was his disciple of three years, Gong Qing, who was the leader of Sinister Pleasure.  Before he killed Grandmaster Tian, Gong Qing used Lv Liang to suck out the Grandmaster’s memory bank.

Everyone was very sad with the passing of the brave disabled Grandmaster Tian.  Even Gong Qing ordered seven days of mourning for everyone in the Sinister Pleasure.  Those who do not comply will be killed on the spot.

Later on, Baobao asked Chulan if he found out her origin.  Chulan had to confess to her that he did not get the Tianshidu.  In his mind, once he become the inheritor of Tianshidu, Grandmaster Zhang will die and cease to exist.  He can’t accept that scenario.

Baobao was very upset.  Chulan told her to just forget the fast, she has her.

Baobao sadly say that she had to find out her beginning for her mental health.  Chilan assured her that he will find out her beginning with her some other way.

Grandmaster Zhang is the best character.  Thankful to annoying Chulan that he has not accepted Tianshidu yet so Grandmaster Zhang does not disappear.

Episode 20

WOW

Chief Celestial Taoist Grandmaster Zhang went on a controlled rampage to avenge Second Grandmaster Tian.

Love love love Grandmaster Zhang Zhiwei.💜💜💜💜💜💜

He searched for Gong Qing and at the same time he started eradicating members of Sinister Pleasure, which has now completely gone opposite of what the original master envisioned.

He told them that he needed to see Gong Qing.

Grandmaster Zhang’s massacre of Sinister Pleasure drew concerns from the 10 elders so they convened a meeting and decide how to stop Grandmaster Zhang as his action could have a heavy repercussion not only to Sinister Pleasure but to all Outsiders and Mount Longyu.

Some of the elders, thought that they should best leave Grandmaster Zhang to what he was doing but Grandmaster Lu was vociferous in his opinion that it was really against what is right.

Meanwhile, Zhang Ling Yu left Moung Long Yu for good.

He went to find Grandmaster Zhang who immediately knew what he was after.

He was right, Zhang Lingyu’s libido got the better of him🤣🤣🤣 He requested Grandmaster Zhang to punish every single Sinister Pleasure member but to spare Xia He.

Grandmaster Zhang was always one step ahead.  He already spared Xia He and told Zhang Lingyu to find her where he and her agreed to meet once upon a time.

It was in a bar.  Xia He was already waiting for him for at least a couple of days.

Episode 21

Grandmaster Zhang was on his way to the  alloted meeting place with Gong Qing when the 10 elders appeared and told him to cease and desist.  But he ignored them.  Grandmaster Lu was going to challenge him but Grandmaster Zhang who had attained the ultimate level of cultivation, pushed Grandmaster Lu in the chest and he was unarmed.

Grandmaster Zhang knew that he was now in trouble and could lose everything but he had to complete his mission to avenge Grandmaster Tian.

More Sinister Pleasure turned up, ready with their cultivation but eventually, Grandmaster Zhang fell them all down without even breaking a sweat.

Then finally, Gong Qing turned up.  Gong Qing told Grandmaster Zhang that he had Grandmaster Tian’s memory and from it, he found out that Grandmaster Zhang is hunting the wrong man.  Gong Qing said that his death will not change anything.  The person Grandmaster Zhang should be annihilating as he sure could cause a repeat of Jiashen Calamity was Zhang Chulan.

Grandmaster Zhang told him that Chulan has conscience that Gong Qing seemed to have bypassed.

Grandmaster zhang watched Gong Qing corroding slowly as his skin begins to break up under the energy shield that Grandmaster Zhang enclosed them in.  Gong Qing finally dropped dead.

Grandmaster Zhang was arrested, charged and convicted for multiple murder.  He was put under house arrest in a secluded corner of Mount Longyu.  He can never leave the place for his lifetime.

He was expecting it.  He got a visitor.  Chulan came to see him.  He admitted to Chulan that he had made a mistake.  He acted too late.  He said that he had done the easy part and he begged Chulan to continue the good fight.  It would be the hard part but it had to be done.  Chulan must protect the good.  Chulan promised that he would even if meant giving his life for it.

The NDT Express team was curious about what Grandmaster Zhang said.  They also asked Chulan why he turned down receiving the Tianshidu.

Chulan said that if he accept it, it would mean the death of Grandmaster Zhang.  They understood and even Baobao was so moved she hugged Chulan who was pleasantly shocked and surprised.  ‘But then Xu San and Xu Si were shocked as well as Baobao was not known to do anything emotional.

Chulan told Baobao that he will protect her and will find out her origin.  The start was to find the legacy of the original 8 masters.

They know at least three possessors.

Wang Ye had returned to Mount Wudang but he was told that he was not welcome anymore.  if he insist to stay, then he will be treated just like a tourist.

Without much choice, Wang Ye left Moung Wudang.  Feng Qingtong found him and gave him a lift.  Feng Qingtong told him that his father wanted to employ him.  Feng Qingtong remembered his father telling him that a penniless monk would like money so he offered Wang Ye lots of money to join the all-encompassing agency.

Wang Ye told him to drop him off.  To Feng Qingtong’s consternation, he found that Wang Ye was far from penniless.  He is an heir to a multi-million corporation.  Wang Ye had been dismissed by the monk though the instigation of Wang Ye’s father as it was time for him to take the helm of their company.

Wang Ye ordered Mr Du, his family’s outsider body guard, to hire more outsiders to guard the family as he noticed that they had been infiltrators in the house.

He then noticed a car parked in front of his house.  He then found Chulan and Baobao.

Episode 22

Wang Ye was concerned that his family was being targeted by hoods.  His new bosom friend Zhu Ge Qing mentioned that he had to hire a bodyguard or someone to find out who was the mastermind.  Ge Qing mentioned that he knew the best one to cover the case.

Episode 23

Chulan and Baobao are the best people to solve the case. Chulan agreed for a prize.  Baobao mentioned a fee of 1Billion which Wang Ye agreed to without batting an eyelid.  Chulan could not believe that he would agree.

Anyway, Chulan worked with Wang Ye and Ge Qing while BaoBao monitor their energy as the three had to go inside the brain of Ge Qing to find out who the mastermind was.

They found that the man was Master Chen, one of the 10 elders.  Before they could all leave the phantasmaogia inside Qe Qing’s brain, Chulan asked the energy being what really happened to Jiashen Calamity.  He saw the being turning into Baobao.

Baobao ‘woke’ them up. Chulan said that he will sort Master Chen out as part of the service.

Chulan went to see Master Chen who he gave a stack of photos of his family and friends.  Chulan warned him that every single one of the pictures were being watch so it is up to Master Chen to cease and desist his contract to harm Wang Ye’s family.

Master Chen said that it might be complicated to stop the contract but again Chulan took it as a challenge.  He gave the money he received from Wang Ye to be shared among the hoods so they could have a more fulfilling life.

With the trouble gone and after compromising with Wang Ye about the Qimen energy, Chulan and Baobao left.

Upon Chulan’s advice, Wang Ye also left his family so anyone trying to harm them again would think that the family was so well protected, Wang Ye was leaving them with confidence.

Ge Qing opted to stay for a while but he made his three minions to be hired as Wang Ye’s family guards.

LV Gong contacted Chulan for a meet up.  Chulan found Lv Gong in a sorry state.  Lv Gong though said that he had not much time but wanted to transfer to Chulan the memory of Grandmaster Tian.

After it was done, he told Chulan to go quickly while Lv Gong was kidnapped.

Episode 24

Lv Gong was kidnapped by his own clan who tortured him for what he did to the family.  He was blamed for killing his sister Huan.

Meanwhile, his greatgrandpa who is one of the 10 Elders wanted him to give him the memory of Grandmaster Tian and information about the Eight Supreme.

Lv Gong mentioned that in the memory of Grandmaster Tian, it looked like the Dluble Quan Palm was the same as the Soul Whisperer.

The greatgrandpa turned into a maniac and proceeded to show the already beaten up Lv Gong the difference of the two.  He cut off Lv Gong’s arm and then warned him to keep the secret of the Soul Whisperer and Double Quan Palm a secret as it is a deep dark secret of their Lyu family.

Chulan and Baobao met the invisible AI of NDT Express.  She told them that their complete intel on the 8 Supremes had been stolen and that Sinister Pleasure is far from being disbanded.  It has a new leader.

Anyway, Chulan and Baobao went to see Grandmaster Lu.  Chulan asked him about the 8 Supremes.

Grandmaster Lu said that they started from the 36 thieves.  They have good energy but in the end only 9 survived from interrogation of who the 8 Supremes.  No one knew.

Wu Gensheng’s skill was extraordinary.  Wu Gensheng, of course, was the founder of the Sinister Pleasure which goodness was corrupted over the years.  It was now just a shadow of what Wu Gensheng founded.

Grandmaster Lu said that after the Jiashun Calamity, Wu Gengsheng just vanished so the new leaders of Sinister Pleasures are titled Interim Leaders.

Chulan mentioned that the 8 Supremes seemed to be reappearing.  Wang Ye received the Qimen Manipulation from his teacher Zhou Sheng, Zheng Zubu imparted the Infinite Heavenly Talisman to Grandmaster Lu, who in turn gave it to Zhang LIngyu.  Dispatch of Detained Spirit by Feng Tianyang were known by both the Feng and Wang clans.

There are still five supremes: Duan Muying’s Double Quan Palm, Ma benzai’s Divine Forge, Gu Qiting’s Daluo Dongguan, Ruan Feng’s Six Vault of Immortal Thievery, and Zhang Xilin’s Qi Apotheosis.

Grandmaster Lu added that Feng Tianyang told him that they perfected their cultivation at the Valley of 24 Terms.  Even deities used the place for their own ascensions. The deities left behind a mysterious qi formation. It was through the formation that they can enhanced their qi.  In the valley, it can defy fate and even revive the dead. But no one knows where the valley is now.

What a surprise!

Chulan and Baobao went to the Lyu Mansion to find Lyu Liang/Lv Gong.  What they found were people who seemed to have lost their mind.  Including to these people was Grandfather Lyu,  Meanwhile, Lyu Liang is now the leader of Sinister Pleasure.  He told his fallowers that he knew the secret of the 8 Supremes.
