I love celery.
Did you know?
Celery is an athlete’s secret weapon. According to the Top 100 health Tips book, celery is full of goodness, of nutrients that keep energy level high. It is also high in Vitamin C and rather diuretic too. It has a high sodium content, not to worry it is far from being in dangerous level, which help in maintaining mineral balance in your body if you drink a lot of water.
Apparently celery is 95 percent water and it contains 7 calories per 100 grams. It is said that you actually burn more calories chewing on a celery.
CELERY is eaten with the fingers.

Did you know?
It was only after the seventeenth century that raw celery became a usual fare for the dining table.
Beforehand, it would be cooked and used solely for medical purposes.
I read on an old copy of Good Housekeeping whilst waiting in my GP surgery that celery acts as a diuretic which help to banish water retention.
The good news it that it has a slight negative calorie count. Yeah!!! Apparently it contains so little calories that you would lose more calories munching on a celery than gaining eating it. Isn’t that wonderful?!!! And not only that, celery contains a lot of fibre to fill you up.
Celery is extremely low in calories and help fight water retention, therefore every dieter’s best hunger pang’s back-up.
It has a high cleansing property which promotes kidney function.
