Farsi Proverbs & Sayings


Farsi is spoken by at least 144 million people in the world. Farsi is also known as Persian of Tajik. It is the official language in Iran, Afghanistan and Tajikstan. It gets more confusing for us not too familiar with the language. Farsi is written in Arabic among the Persian, Russian Cyrillic is used by the Tajik whilst the Afghans’s Farsi is written in Dari.
