There Was a Little Girl (Curly Locks)

There was a little girl
Who had a little curl
Right in the middle of her forehead
When she was good
She was very very good
But when she was bad she was horrid
– Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

This is one of my favourite poem/nursery rhyme. You can almost envision the sweetest little girl who can turn into a little brat at the drop of a hat.

Curly locks

URLY locks! curly locks! wilt thou be mine?
Thou shalt not wash dishes, nor yet feed the swine;
But sit on a cushion and sew a fine seam,
And feed upon strawberries, sugar, and cream!
