I just love the coconut pudding served at Dimsun Restaurant. It is so delicious, I leave the restaurant wanting more of the pudding.
The pudding looks like the Italian ‘pannacotta’.
Anyway when I’ve googled coconut pudding several versions came up but they do look the same. I’ll just have to try cooking everyone of the recipes and see which one tastes the same as the one in Dimsun.

Coconut Pudding Recipe
1/2 tin condensed milk
1/2 cup coconut powder
1 cup sugar
1 cup fresh cream
1/2 tin cherry
1 tsp vanilla essence
How to make coconut pudding:
- Grind sugar.
- Beat cream so as to thicken it.
- Mix condensed milk, coconut powder, sugar and vanilla essence. Pour it in a dish.
- Spread cream on the top.
- Garnish with cherry.
- Refrigerate it for setting and serve chilled.

1 can sweetened condensed milk
Coconut milk to fill the milk can Milk in the quantity to fill two of the condensed milk cans 3 tbsp. of corn starch
Cook all ingredients together over medium heat stirring constantly until it begins to boil and thickens.
Pour into a form and chill until firm.
Brazilians often serve with stewed prunes along with the juice. Delicious!
