Selenophobia
Selenophobia apparently is fear of the moon. It comes from the Greek words “seleno” meaning moon and “phobia” is of course fear.
The fear is not solely towards the moon but more on the superstitions attached to the different phases of the moon. Let say, what would the full moon mean? Will an ordinary loving husband, boyfriend, son, friend or even the milkman next door suddenly turns into a werewolf? This is just one of the many worries of a selenophobe. It is scary!!! LOL
Did you know?
In the 1600s, pregnant women were advised against looking at the moon. It was believed that the moon may make the unborn child man, hence the term lunatic!

Thanks for your post. It was educational and yet so irreverently fun. LMAo
