It costs nothing, but creates much.

t is rest to the weary, daylight to the discouraged, sunshine to the sad, and Nature’s best antidote for trouble.
Yet it cannot be bought, begged, borrowed, or stolen, for it is something that is no earthly good to anybody till it is given away.
And if in the last-minute rush of the business-day, some of our colleagues should be too tired to give a smile, may we ask you to leave one of yours? For nobody needs a smile so much as those who have none left to give!

I just read a lovely article which is quite interesting. Apparently the weather has nothing whatsoever to do with smiling. It is a fallacy that sunny weather makes us smile. According to psychologist the link between good weather and good mood is a very tenuous one. We smile when the sun is shining because we have programmed ourselves to believe that sun makes us happy. If we can do that then we can also program ourselves to be happy whatever the weather is.
