3 Stages of Life – Carpe Diem

3 Stages of Life – Carpe Diem

Below is something that I found in a friend’s Facebook timeline. I think it was really meant to be some sort of clever joke but it is actually the truth in life.

At present time, hubby and I, are at the worker stage.  The money is there but we have not got the time and as it is almost the end of our working life the energy is also not in great abundance. 😉 Oh old age, give us a break!  Don’t cast your revenge just as yet! 🙁

I remember, that hubby used to tell me a few years back that we could not go out much but we will do everything together upon retirement.  I understood this, especially when I started working full time myself, and gave him all the support in the world so he can have a less stressful time whilst working.

Big mistake.  We grew in separate directions.  It was by the Grace of God that we met up again at a crossroad, a point where we could have parted ways permanently but we chose to follow and walk the same route again and now,  we couldn’t be happier.

We are doing more things now TOGETHER.

We are definitely seizing the day. We have learnt not to put off for tomorrow what we can do today.  Take advantage of every chance that comes our way, otherwise it will be a tragic lost opportunity.
