Quick Precis
On Joon-young and Lee Young-Jae met on a blind date. They were almost the total opposite and yet they clicked.
For the romantics, The Third Charm is definetly a misnomer. They did not end up together despite given three times to start a love story. So there is no third time lucky.
But then again, it might be third time lucky after all because, they don’t really suit so no matter how many times they try to restart a non-starter relationship it just doesn’t happen.
Episode 1 – 2
This is rather a cute drama with even cuter leads. There are plenty of funny moments as well.
On Joon-Young, a very personable man is a police officer, who was heading a narcotic crack-down team was lying in wait to arrest a known drug dealer, who just entered a club during a New Year’s Eve celebration.
The celebration of the coming 2013 was just heating up when the police rushed into the club. They got their man but someone else was amongst the new year’s revelers. It was Lee Young Jae.
Joon Young was entranced at seeing his former girlfriend, the nasty girl who was his girlfriend for just one day back then.
Back to his college days…
Seven years ago, Oh Joon-Young was 20 years old, a nerdy boy who was rather serious at everything, he wore black-rimmed glasses and had braces. He was studying Chemical Engineering and friends with three hormonal boys, who lives and breathes girls.
Oh Joon-Young, on the other hand, would rather be at home cooking for his family.
Nevertheless, his friends can be forceful and made him attend a university blind date.
One day during train travel, he noticed a girl who was creating quite a commotion by telling a man that he was a pervert.
The girl was Lee Young Jae, who was opinionated and tomboyish. Young Jae ended up in the police station with the alleged pervert. The man was about to be let go as there was no solid evidence against him when Oh Joon Young appeared with his camera showing a photo of the man touching someone’s bottom.
That was the first meeting of the leads.
Anyway, Lee Young Jae, though quite an intelligent girl does not have any aspiration of going to college. She wanted to become a hairdresser and becomes rich in the process.
Her former high school friends were in the beauty salon where she works when they discussed going on a blind date. This time Young Jae was really rather envious of being in university and having a social life.
During the blind date, one girl was missing so they had to call Lee Young Jae to make up the numbers.
Everyone was partnered off except the nerdy Oh Joon Young, so he ended up waiting for the latecomer, which he did not know would be Lee Young Jae. They were surprised to be meeting again after the train and police station fiasco.
They did have a great time although they had parted ways without exchanging too much information about each other. But as luck would have it, they mistakenly took each other rucksack as they have similar ones.
Oh Joon Young asked his friends to find out about Lee Young Jae. He thought that she was going to the same university as her friends who were in Broadcasting.
Anyway, he found her in the salon and thinking that she was doing a part-time job.
Before Oh Joon Young can say anything, Lee Young Jae had him sitting on the chair having his hair curled.
He was absolutely taken with Lee Young Jae when she kissed him while she was unrolling his hair.
He did not care that he had an afro look, he was in love.
Lee Young Jae was surprised with herself as well. But she was quite happy to go on seeing Oh Joon Young, who asked her to go on a date with him.
He also asked her to be his partner during a Chemical Engineering One Night open bar.
Lee Young Jae turned up rather late but looked so beautiful that one of her former high school mates got jealous, especially when Lee Young Jae and Oh Joon Young won the dance-off of the night.
Young Jae’s former schoolmate humiliated her for being poor and lowly and not being able to afford to go to university.
Oh Joon Young was new to women relationship and did not really know what to do. His hesitance made Lee Young Jae even more humiliated. So she runs off and never wanted to see Oh Joon Young again.
Oh Joon Young was a broken-hearted love zombie for a while, pining for Lee Young Jae.
Now they meet again after seven years.
Episode 3 – 4
These two episodes are so cute.
Her friendly boss at the salon, Baek Joo Ran, dragged Young Jae to a fortune teller. There they found out about their love prospects for the future.
Baek Joo Ran was told that she should be prepared to live a life alone as all the men she will get involved with will only let her down.
Young Jae was told her love stars are lucky. She will meet two men and any one of these men can make her happy.
Before too long Young Jae got back with Joon Young as if the seven years apart did not happen. They were just too happy to be together.
Oh Joon Young was told by Lee Young Jae that many male customers get over-excited by the hairdressers washing their hair. Apparently, there is an erogenous zone on the head.
Oh Joon Young made Lee Young Jae promised that she will never wash the hair of any of her male customers.
Lee Young Jae easily promised Oh Joong Young that she wouldn’t as she has assistants and interns to do it. She is now the main stylist.
Episode 5
Oh Joong Young was shocked to see Young Jae washing a male customer’s hair one late evening when he decided to surprise her with some snacks.
He saw from the glass wall on the salon that she seemed to have a very relax and easy time with the customer.
When he tried to call her, she said she was busy and she does not need snacks. She reminded him that she will be busy preparing for a show.
Oh Joon Young was so hurt, betrayed and jealous. He has grown really handsome over the years but deep down he still feels the nerdy guy girls do not choose.
To punish her he stopped calling her and answering her texts and returning her calls, which made Young Jae upset.
Finally, they had a heart to heart and discuss hair washing. She gave him a tight hug and a long lingering kiss and everything seems ok once again. That is until the day of the show.
One of the models was her frenemy, who Young Jae ended up having a fight after the show. Again despite her success as a hairstylist, her have-not background came up again, she felt.
Young Jae ended up sprawled on the ground and being helped up by the gorgeous plastic surgeon Ho Chul, the man whose hair Young Jae was washing previously.
Joon Young looked crushed looking on.
Episode 6
Oh Joon Young has a really serious problem. He was single-handedly sabotaging his own romantic life.
He was jealous of the other guy for fancying his girlfriend. What does he do? He punished the poor girl, who was really devoted to him.
She was so sweet, despite not hearing from him for ages, she took it upon herself to go to his house and meet his family.
Instead of being happy for what she was doing, he sulked. He then drove her home but he was still annoyed with her and it became rather uncomfortable for Young Jae. She just had to get out of his car.
Then he was more or less forced to cook her a birthday dinner, he did not stay to eat it with her and her brother.
Then on her actual birthday, a good boyfriend would have been ready with gifts and climbing up the wall waiting to see her and celebrate her birthday. Contrarily, he did not give a call, wish her a happy birthday. He instead decided to go for a team dinner to continue on punishing her for his still hurt feelings.
But because his best friend called him to say that Young Jae was in a fancy restaurant with the man Oh Joon Young was jealous of, he abandoned his planned team dinner to go to the restaurant where Young Jae was unhappily celebrating her birthday with Ho Chul.
Oh Joon Young angrily told her that she was so out of order going on a date on her birthday with another man. Yeah right!
He is really horrible!
Good drama, well-acted! I can’t wait how this will pan out.
Episode 7- 8
Episode 7 sees the couple reconcile and they had some lovely and sweet making up time. However, Oh Joon Young does have a problem with excessive jealousy, it was his nature to be too sensitive but he was made aware of it when he had a conversation with his mother, who has the same problem with her husband, Joong Young’s father.
His mother begged him not to turn into someone like his father.
Though he was trying very hard to overcome his green-eyed monster sensitivity, he finds it rather difficult as Young Jae seems to give him a cause to be jealous. She seems to be always with the handsome doctor. Ho Chul calls and she goes running, not really appropriate for someone who already has a boyfriend. In addition, she was featured in a magazine where she posed rather provocatively and saucily. Even her brother told her never to pose that way again.
Anyway, at the end of episode 8, it seems the tables have turned when she found her faithful Oh Joong Youn not solely focused on her anymore.
He was in the hospital after a botched operation to catch the slippery Snakehead. He tumbled down the stairs to lessen the impact on a policewoman falling over.
Yes, there is a new character. A shy policewoman who seemed to have fallen in love at first sight with him mainly due to his cactus collection. They share the same characteristics and even taste.
Anyway as Team Leader Oh Joon Young chose to rescue Min Hoon-Hye rather than run after Snakehead, who got away, Joon Young and Min Hoon Hye ended up in the hospital.
That was where Young Jae had a taste of her own medicine when she found her boyfriend tenderly caring for the seemingly frail Min Hoon Hye.
Episode 9 -10
Young Jae was taken aback by what she saw. However, she realised that she does love Joong Young very deeply but she reckons that they have hardly anything in common.
Their polarity is really hard to reconcile, especially when they choose not to communicate their innermost thoughts fearing of hurting one another’s feelings.
Young Jae has an outgoing personality, who like the vibrancy of city life while Joong Young would be happy to become police chief in a fairly remote village where he envisages Young Jae as the local hairdresser providing blue rinse to the elder ladies. 🙂
At the end of this episode, they had a heart to heart where Young Jae revealed how she felt and that she wanted to break up.
Joong Young pleaded his case heartbreakingly, telling her that he would change, be a better person for her.
But Young Jae had made up her mind. Once again they were through.
I can understand why Young Jae having a second thought in her relationship with Joon Young. There is nothing more annoying than being with someone who would keep silent, quietly nursing his hurt feelings and making her feel guilty for something she doesn’t really know what it was about. It’s hard work to always second-guessing what someone else is thinking!
There is also the fact that she was beguiled by Ho Chul, who could give her the luxurious life and prosperity she had always hankered for. She has always been honest that she wanted to be rich to elevate herself from those who have always looked down on her.
Being with Joon Young would mean living a quiet sedate life which stifles her personality.
She did admit that she still likes him but her love for him had died.
Joong Young was given an award for his exemplary service in catching Snakehead.
During the award day, he dressed up in his immaculate police uniform but instead of attending the ceremony, he left his resignation letter on his desk.
He then drove off to Young Jae’s salon and saw her looking happy amongst her clients and friends.
He then gave a little smile to himself and drove off.
Young Jae noticed his car and run after him but he just continued on…
Despite the angsty ending (for now) of these two’s relationship, the other side characters have a much happier story.
Young Jae’s brother is developing a really good friendship with Young Jae’s boss’ Baek Joo Ran, who happens to be my favourite character. She is such a hoot.
Joon Young’s sister, On Ri Won, got together with the charismatic Sang Hyun, my second favourite character.
Sang Hyun was a confirm womaniser but someone the bolshy On Ri Won got his attention. He fell in love for the first time.
It was a hilarious scene when Joon Young found out the romance of his sister and best friend.
The next episode would be the beginning of the third time Young Jae and Joon Young would interact!
Episode 11
I love this episode, it is directly after the traumatic break-up with Young Jae. And this is about Joon Young and how he got over his pain.
After giving in his notice at work, he gave his notice to his parents of his immediate plans.
He was going on a backpacking holiday.
He went to Portugal and he walked 100 miles and walked 10,000 more to while away time, after all, everything passes with time including pain and suffering and of course, heartbreak.
At his lowest ebb, he went to a restaurant who served him the most heartwarming stew. then and there he knew what he wanted to do.
He had always been good at cooking, so there is nothing stopping him perfecting his hobby into a craft.
He went to a cooking school that would make him stay in Portugal for three years.
Seo Kang Joon is such a good actor. He was able to project a gamut of emotion on his handsome face.
His loneliness is apparent and sometimes alienation is so affecting. I particularly love the scene above when he was eating his stew. He was obviously starved, tired and cold but his delight at the wholesome food was coupled with his heavy heart. Watching him, I was willing him on to get better, I really felt for him.
He got better. There is nothing more productive than being busy and he was always busy.
Amidst all of these, he got a new girlfriend.
The young policewoman from back home could not forget him so she cast her shyness aside and went to court Joong Young in Portugal. She told him that she misses him and she likes him.
He is really hers for the taking. To him, she was something familiar from ‘home’, just the panacea for homesickness.
They got together but she was really more into him.
However, they did develop a rather sweet relationship.
After a total of five years in Portugal, he was offered a sous chef position in Porto but this actually made him decide to go back home instead.
He opened the Small Table, which is basically a very exclusive one-table restaurant. This kept him busy but he had enough time to buy an engagement ring for his girlfriend, who was over the moon when she was finally proposed to.
Small Table is gaining popularity for its western/French cuisine, service, and attention to details.
Then one day while preparing the table for a romantic dinner for two, the couple arrived.
It’s Young Jae and Ho Chul.
It was a blast from the painful past.
Episode 12
This episode features Young Jae more. It seems the once vibrant Young Jae had turned into a sad, depressed woman.
The reason has not been fully revealed yet but it seems she married Ho Chul and they had a little girl.
Yes, it looks like Young Jae had her cake and had eaten it too. 🙂
With some obscure clips, it looks like their daughter was run over by a car and died.
This made Young Jae demented with grief and became alcoholic and unreasonable which ultimately broke her marriage.
The meal she was having with Ho Chul at Small Table was their farewell dinner before Ho Chul catch his plane back to Portugal.
After seeing Joon Young again, she seems to bump into him at every opportunity.
She was invited by Joon Young to the Small Table for ‘real cooked food’ after seeing her shopping bag was laden with tubs of ramen.
They got talking over a bowl of bouillabaisse.
She told him that she is divorced and in return, he happily told her that he was getting married and his bride-to-be suddenly walks in through the door.
I have to admit that I wanted Young Jae and Joon Young to be together and I did not like the young policewoman but funnily enough, I did not mind Ho Chul at all.
But now I have a change of heart. I wanted Joon Young to end up with the policewoman. She is pretty and fresh and absolutely devoted to him. Perhaps she is much too devoted and much too alike with Joon Young which would cause some problem of ennui in the end?!!!
Young Jae has such a complicated personality and now carrying so much baggage. It is unfair for Joon Young to still be saddled with her in the end. She is too far damaged. I know it is harsh but I think after the way she treated Joon Young, he really deserves a break which should not include her. After all she did admit to herself that her love for him had gone.
This might be a lost cause as the title of the drama is indeed The Third Charm which means being third time lucky for these former lovers.
Well lucky Young Jae, she got to sample both gorgeous men and the rich life she wanted. LOL
Episode 13
This is one depressing episode. The usually vibrant Young Jae was so sad, made more heartbroken after finding out the Joon Young had moved on from her and now happily engaged to a charming girl, who is so radiant with happiness.
This episode tackled the root of Young Jae depression. She had a child with her husband Ho Chul. They both adored the child but of her fourth birthday, while she was with Young Jae at a bakery where they almost met Joon Young, Choi SoRi, the child saw a cat and followed it without her mother knowing.
(As an aside, the daughter was four years old, means that Young Jae did not lose any time in getting together with Ho Chul after she broke up with Joon Young.)
It was only after she had the birthday cake all packed that she noticed So Ri was not there. After looking for her for a minute or two, she found her under a car, dead.
It seems SoRi’s death wrecked her marriage to Ho Chul. She went back to live in Korea but not quite sure she needed to do yet and instead spent her days feeling sorry for herself.
Again she met Joon Young in one of her sojourns to the local mini-mart. He saw that she was buying ramen once again.
Against his better judgment, he took her once again to Small Table to feed her good wholesome food but he was promising himself that this is it. He is saying goodbye to her.
Poor Joo Ran has no one to confide or care enough about her, especially now that she needed support, tender loving care as she had just been diagnosed with cancer.
It is all so sad.
Episode 14
Before anything else, I would just like to ask how can Joon Young make a living with a one-table restaurant which is always empty? The overheads must be horrendous compared to what he makes from his cooking?!!!
I have to admit that most of the characters are not very nice. Joo Ran is my favourite of the lot but she is dying from ovarian cancer.
Joon Young’s sister was quite plucky and cute at first but she has gone beyond being tolerable. She is so arrogant. Don’t like her at all now,
I would have dropped this drama but it is a bit too late now as the penultimate and final episodes are going to be shown next weak. 🙂
I have to say that it is rather unusual for most viewers (having read some of the comments for the drama) to be up in arms with the leading cast ending up together.
There is really no need for them to be together in the end. A dam full of water has flowed under the bridge. Let’s have some realism, please!
So many things cannot be undone, so hurtful that it is really not possible for them to even become friends.
Joon Young has finally got over her after exiling himself from his family, friends and his country for five years. It took him that long to feel good again.
I feel that it is wrong for them to end up together. She is too willful and with so much baggage. She is not really ready for another relationship. She needed to heal her broken heart from the loss of her beloved daughter, causing pain to her husband that may have led to their divorce.
For them to be together, that third charm must be quite something!!!
Anyway in this episode Joon Young finally met his future in-laws. Though it was a rather turgid meeting, he was quite a hit with Se Eun’s military family. So much so that Se Eun’s father called Joon Young to advise him to prepare a wedding to his daughter before the year is out.
Despite this turn of events, Se Eun still feels uneasy and insecure so being a proactive kind of girl she approached Young Tae to suggest a blind date for her. So she can have a boyfriend of her own. 🙂 I thought it was helpful and rather reasonable! LOL
Of course, Joon Young found out about it and got very upset with Se Eun, The nerve of him!
Young Tae agreed to the blind date. Though she turned up, she left immediately which was embarrassing to that nice but rather timid policeman.
Young Tae ended up in the salon to see Joo Ran who finally confessed that she had been diagnosed with a stage 3 cancer of the ovaries. This was just too much for Young Tae, who needed someone to confide all the ails in her world to.
Who better than the sucker ex-boyfriend? Yap the episode ended with Young Tae sounding as if she was saying her goodbye before she commits suicide or had an accident as Joon Young can hear the commotion over the phone,
The suicide must be the third charm! How nasty!!!
Episode 15
What a depressing episode!!!
It tackles the many negative facets of LOVE.
It seems being in love is far from having days of wine and roses and sleeping on a cloud nine.
In fact, according to this drama, LOVE should come with a warning. It is mighty dangerous for your health, heart and mental stability. So do not, if you can help it, fall in love. 🙂
The love between Ri-Won and Sang Hyun is one of master and slave. Ri Won being a strong woman has totally emasculated a once upon a time playboy, who comes from affluent family background and runs his own successful club/bar.
I am not sure what happened but after making Ri-Won pregnant, then five years later, he had turned into a tracksuit wearing house-partner (Ri-Won refuses to marry him) looking after their daughter and house chores. He has completely lost his vanity and thinks of money only in terms of paying the household bills. Ri-Won takes him for granted and he lets her get away with everything. This is so ridiculous storyline. Sang Hyun’s drastic change is totally mental.
The love between Joon-Young’s father and mother. Though they are basically happy, the mother who has a higher position in the school compared to the father is strong and feisty. She is strong enough to put up with her husband’s pathological jealousy. The father believes that since she was nearing 60, she should behave as his traditional ‘image’ of a 60 years old woman. The mother should not be so beautiful anymore. 🙂
The love between Soo Jae and Joo Ran is not fully realised yet. Soo Jae seemed to have given up on love when he lost the feeling in his legs and sees Joo Ran only as a buddy, a drinking, dining buddy. However, Joo Ran wanted more. She wanted them to be closer and perhaps he becomes the father of the baby she longs for before her biological clock completely stops ticking. But luck would have it, she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer.
The love between Ho Chul and Young Jae was perfect for both of them. They did love one another as they each satisfy one another’s needs. (Ho Chul is just gorgeous) Ho Chul wanted a settled home with a loving wife and children. Young Jae wanted the money and good looking professional husband to assuage her feeling of inadequacy. She has self-esteem issues born from her lowly background. She has always wanted to get rich and be counted in society. But everything came tumbling down. Their beloved daughter died because of Young Jae’s accidental neglect. The guilt was enough to kill the light in her life. Being always a self-centered drama queen, she cannot take the guilt over the death of her daughter head-on. She wallowed in self-pity and tried to kill herself and spread the guilt to her long-suffering husband. As a self-centered person would do, she passed the buck to the innocent one. She told her husband that her guilt was due to seeing their daughter everywhere in the house including in his face and eyes. She wanted a divorce (and probably large alimony, LOL) He granted her the divorce because he’s is the nicest man in this drama.
The love between Joon Young and Se Eun is really a one-sided or rather lopsided one. Se Eun loves Joon Young much more than he loves her. She has always done the running, she catered to his every whim. She was always upfront with her feelings, thus there were no surprises about her, which does not challenge Joon Young’s sense of hunter and gatherer characteristics like Young Jae did. What they have is a conglomeration of the same sense of justice and the same likes and dislikes. Joon Young does not have to think hard to please Se Eun as he knew her like a well-thumbed book, therefore he always knows how the story goes. Sedate.
The love between Joon Young and Young Jae is excruciating. Joon Young is obsessive about Young Jae, who did not think twice of dumping him when a more attractive love prospect came along. Joon Young had always been adamant of what she wanted. She wanted fame and fortune.
With their third encounter in their timeline, it would be so wrong for them to get together. She has so many ‘baggage’ yet to be unpacked. Their relationship if they do end up together will turn toxic in the long run. With Joon Young Small Table restaurant, which doesn’t have enough paying customers, it will go under before they can celebrate their 100 days together. He won’t be then able to keep Young Jae to the manner which she became accustomed to. LOL
Young Jae will always have the upper hand and continue on to do whatever she pleases, which will make Joon Young go into his shell every time he is confronted with something unpalatable.
Anyway, the real synopsis of episode 15, was that Young Jae did not try to commit suicide at all. She was drinking heavily and called Joon Young and piteously said she doesn’t have any friends (oh shame!) to call on so she was calling him. In the middle of this phone conversation, she drunkenly knocked her table and hurt herself. The stupid worried Joon Young rushed to where she was and tended to her and her wounds. He bought her ointments and bandages then telling her that he was off.
He then went in the park and thought things out and continued to think of Young Jae into the next day and hurt himself preparing carrots for his invisible diners. LOL
He made up his selfish but honest mind to be truthful to Se Eun. He told her that he lied to her when she called him.
He said that he was with Young Jae at that time because he cannot help how he feels about Young Jae.
Se Eun told him that his honesty was a fail. It did not reassure her but rather said, I hate you so much right now!
(She should have given him a resounding slap and a kick that would have shaken him up from his muddled little brain. LOL)
Joon Young was not bothered at all that she hates him because he knew she will come back for more.
And he was right because, despite her niggling suspicion that not everything is right, Se Eun went shoe shopping for the pre-wedding meet the parents events. Se Eun fell in love with a pair of shoes, despite the shop not having the right size for her, she chose to still buy them knowing it would excruciatingly hurt her like hell. Is this a portent of things yet to come?!!!
So while Se Eun was being busy hating him, he went to Young Jae to listen to her woes and fall in love with her all over again for the third time. Joon Young is a plonking masochist. I supposed they are more compatible because Young Tae is a bit of a sadist.
It will be all over tonight with episode 16.
Episode 16
Well, it is all over.
I have read many comments from viewers who decided to drop this drama midway or after episode 12. I can relate to that but having said that I am glad I persevered with this torturous series.
I am very satisfied with the ending as well.
Anyway, the episode started with Young Jae going on and on about her pain and woes which were a great hook to claw on Joon Young’s heart and already confused mind. I am telling you, Young Jae got him like a puppet on a string. She was twisting and turning him like a pro.
Anyway, after making Joon Young properly confused, he went to Se Eun’s apartment to wait for her to come down and break the news to her that he was not really fully into her and was never really in love with her because his emotions and feelings were all directed to the grieving divorcee.
Se Eun was very dignified despite aching emotionally and physically, from the ultra-tight new pair of shoes. She did not scream and beg. She told him that she was the one breaking up with him. She was not sure about them anymore because he played with her emotion too often, she did not know whether she was coming or going. With that, she turned her back on him and left.
Joon Young had to break the news to his family, who were in their finest finery all excited with the pre-wedding dinner.
Joon Young’s father, who grew very fond of Se Eun couldn’t help himself. He beat up Joon Young well and good with his wife and daughter looking on and not doing anything to stop him.
Thank goodness there was some light relief in this drama.
Finally, Sang Hyun is freed from the travails of child-rearing or so he thought, as their little angel was about to enter full-day education.
He has many plans: doing some classes, find a job, join a gym, etc.
Ri-Won gave him a present and it was a pregnancy stick which was positive. Sang Hyun was gutted. All his plans were flying out of the window. But there was another gift. It was a marriage contract. Yap, he was overjoyed, Ri-Won was marrying him.
Talking about marriage, Soo Jae and Joo Ran got married and seemed very happy on their wedding day, where Soo Jae hired a KPop band to do the music and a French chef to do the catering.
Yep, the French chef was Joon Young, who made up with his family, especially with his father.
Joon Young had a friendly talk with Young Tae about their current life situation.
Young Tae had told him that she was living the simple life at the present time. She started her own salon and perming and blue-rinsing ladies from the market. It was on the boring side but she can rest and enjoy the peace.
She told Joon Young that she heard from her brother that he was leaving for New York to work as a French chef in one of the city’s swanky restaurants.
What a twist of fate. Joon Young who wanted a quiet life is going to be working in the world’s most vibrant city while Young Jae who wanted excitement is working in a rural area.
Yes, the drama ended with leads exchanging small talks as they walk the walk and talk the talk. If they do get together, they will be nearing 40s. ho ho ho
There were some poignant moments in this last episode between Soo Jae and Joo Ran.
Because of her illness, Joo Ran became rather philosophical and these were what she had to say:
- When there is no hope, there is no despair either.
- I don’t have much to smile about and not much to cry about either.
- She won’t be able to date, which means there is no need to worry about getting dumped.
Soo Jae:
- When an inexplicable ordeal comes our way, someone who can bring us solace comes with it.
The End
Having watched this drama, I was wondering what was the third charm was? If it was about their three meetings over twelve years, then that charm is the cruellest amulet or power to fascinate. It only brought pain and suffering.
