Episode 1-2

Ma Ri is married to a chaebol who has anger management issues.  He was very possessive, very controlling to Ma-Ri.  She was someone to control, someone to dominate and someone to toy with.  She had no life of her own, she was someone’s Barbie doll.

He picks her clothes and accessories for her but mind you he has good tastes if that Birkin bag is something to show for it.

Anyway, Ma Ri was getting desperate from living like a bird in a cage, no matter how luxurious the cage was.

She did try to run away a few times, changed her name, changed her job but her husband was like the proverbial Canadian mounties – they’ll always get their man.

This time Ma Ri heard of a plastic surgeon who was being interviewed about his work as a plastic surgeon.  He said that his job is more than changing someone’s face or appearance, it is a way of kick-starting’s one’s life again.

Ma Ri made a point of visiting the surgeon, pretending from her bodyguard that she was on her way to an art gallery.

The surgeon though, seeing that Ma Ri has a perfectly symmetrical face was very discouraging.  He kept telling her that changing her face will not make her problems disappeared.  She had to face it head-on.  Ma-Ri was rather annoyed with the surgeon and told him so.

She is not just a woman with money who fancied a different look.  She told him having a different appearance will save her life.

It would probably do as her husband is sinister and creepy.

Meanwhile, the plastic surgeon, Seo Jung Won was traveling towards the mountainside to visit a patient, who was in a coma.
