The story is about love in its many aspects.
Love comes to everyone, how they deal with it is subjective.
Gong Seon Hwa is a social worker who was engaged to Kang Won Hyung.
She had a history of getting close to boyfriends and then sabotage the relationship and ending up breaking it off.
Her relationship with the gorgeous chef, Kang Won Hyung was no different, They came so far as to have the wedding invitations printed, they got their own apartment and bought the furniture and electrical goods but Gong Seon Hwa once again nitpick everything about her fiance.
The last straw was adding an egg to the ramyun he was cooking. Being a chef, he would not allow it but she insisted and they were fighting over it and it got serious until she said that they have nothing in common.
Kang Won Hyung let her cool off and then came to find her and wanting to make up. He had with him food to cook braised pollock for her and her mother.
She was mollified but she got a call from her mother, hurrying her to come home to share dinner with her father.
The mention of her father was like a red rag to a bull.
She went ballistic and took out her frustration with Kang Won Hyung and broke up permanently.
Her father was the source of her dysfunctional outlook about love and life.
She was very young when her father who was a rocker/musician would come and go in her and mother’s lives. Most of the time, it was only her and her mother.
Her father was always absent that she had told her friends that he was dead. And the few times he was with them, she can remember him as moody and easy to get angry.
Anyway, her father is back again and her mother could not be happier. This she could not understand.
Her father got a musician shake which is a sort of ailment like an RSI. His fingers would seize up when he strums the guitar for long times. Apparently, this is very common with musicians.
To cure this, he had to be operated on the brain which is connected to his spine and finger or something.
Many things happened with the other characters in this drama about love and the absence of love in their own lives.
Gong Seon Hwa’s mother and father, who she had finally made up with, had encouraged her to go find Kang Won Hyung because he was a good man.
Despite having broken up with her, he was always in the background still thinking about her.
They made up.
Kang Won Hyung said to her that there will be times that he will not have much time for her because of his frenetic job as owner/chef of his restaurant but he will always be coming to her until the end.
This made Seon Hwa happy and he opened his arms to seal their promise…
Yoon Eun Hye and Ji Il Joo have a sexy chemistry and they should do a longer drama together. A pure romance would be so lovely.
