Episode 1
This drama is a find. It’s stylist with an interesting characterisation of the leads.
The drama started with the sewer collectors finding and reporting to the police what looked like human fingers rather done chicken feet.
Medical Examiner Dr Qin with police Liutenant Lin Tao was despatched immediately to the scene.
Dr Qin asked where their newbie forensic junior was.
This junior was a tomboyish female who was caught in the traffic.
When she eventually arrived, there was a bit of misogyny towards her but Li Dabao was more than ready for it. She was feisty and prepared to do anything.
Because they only have a 48 hours window, they were doing the initial forensic at the scene and found out that the fingers belonged to a female.
The fingers had been deep fried.
They search the sewer for the all-important pelvic bone that could tell everything. Dabao should her mettle by being able to sniff out where the human remains were in the smell sewer.
During their search, they also found a couple of leg bones.
Upon inspections and calculations of the bone density and lengths, they concluded the female was very tall at 1.75 m.
Immediately they sent out police to find out any missing female who stood at 1.75 m.
The police came back that they cannot find anyone reported missing at that height but there was a missing person, a housewife who was only 1.60 m.
This was puzzling but Dr Qin appeared to say that they’ve got it all wrong.
