Episode 1
Lin Dawei and his wife Shengnan enrolled their sixteen-year-old daughter to an innovative and experimental high school in view of preparing for the National College Entrance examination in three years’ time.
What the couple did not expect was missing their daughter, who now stays within the school dormitory.
Miao Miao, their daughter, is a bit of a tomboy and very self-possessed and made friends easily. As much as her parents were missing her in her absence, she was having the time of her life in the excitement of being independent of her parents’ control.
In her school, the policy is very regimental. No mobile phones after 9 pm and that they had to get up and get ready for school promptly the next day and each day. They were always told that any insubordination means being expelled from the school which is well subscribed by valedictorian students.
Episode 2
This episode is well observed. The mother missed her daughter so much but when Miao Mioa came back home for the weekends, she ended up annoying her mother.
Episode 3
Miao MIoa has gone back to school after the weekend.
It was her father who gave her an extra allowance. Priceless.
Miao Miao eats a lot and after eating just too much, she developed stomachache. Her parents took her home to recover.
When she went back, Miao Miao became famous or rather infamous for her period pains. Her mother had called a couple of her teachers to remind Miao Miao not too drink cold water so she doesn’t get dysmenorrhea.
Her male teacher who also got a call from her mother discussed period pains, He even suggested that the name of girls who were going to have their periods should be written on the blackboard so they could be treated gentler. Everyone was killing themselves laughing the Miao Miao’s expense.
Episode 4
Qian San Yi is a special student at their school. He is a young genius who the innovative school had recruited to be an example to the school.
He is not only a genius, but he is also gorgeous and the girls adored him. He was willing to share his learning and the girls hang at his every word.
Jiang Tian Hao, who is an alpha male student and friends with Miao Miao and but has a crush on Deng Xiao Qi got jealous of the adoration from the girls in his class, including Miao Miao and Xiao Qi.
He started to take notice of Qian San Yi and tried to make him look less than perfect but somehow he was not getting his on way.
Qian San Yi seemed just too good to be true.
Tian Hao was a good basketball player and tried to recruit new players. When Qian San Yi tried to join, Tian Hao dismisses him as just a nerdy student.
Qian San Yi however quickly showed that he was more than a match with Tian Hao in basketball.
Episode 7
The students are now asked to choose their electives.
Episode 8
Qian San Yi who is a brainbox would always choose Natural Science while Mao Miao would go for Social Science.
Ding Xiao Qi was disappointed that they won’t see Yi Yi all the time anymore.
Their new homeroom teacher is Miao Miao’s uncle.
Anyway, Miao Miao thought that she will not have to see the supercilious, Yi Yi anymore but she was surprised when she learned that he will be her broadcasting partner.
He has a crush on her.
Deng Xiao Qi and Miao Miao were looking at fashion in her mobile phone under the cover of the blanket when their teacher found them.
They were told off for sharing the same bed.
Ding Xiao Qi could not understand the fuss but Miao Miao said obviously she had not seen Brokeback Mountain.
Episode 9
Love this drama. Very underrated.
Deng Xiao Qi begged and begged Miao Miao to allow her to visit the broadcasting room so she could see Yi YI.
But it went all wrong when Deng Xiao Qi accidentally started broadcasting which was still during class.
Yi Yi went to apologise to the broadcasting adviser taking it upon himself the liability for the mistake.
Miao Miao misunderstood his intention. She thought that he did it because he does not want Deng Xioa Qi to be in trouble.
Yi Yi just looked at her wonderingly for her cluelessness.
Miao Miao warned Tian Hao that he has got a rival for Deng Xiao Qi’s affection.
Miao Miao was so happy to show her proud mother that she had improved vastly in her class standing after choosing social science.
