An e-gamer CEO hires a girl to work in his company due to her auspicious name.  They then bicker into love. Ahhh

This drama is also known as The World Owes Me a First Love.

Xing Yun is being treated as a personal slave by Xia Ke.  She must always be at his beck and call  at all hours, whatever the weather. 🙂

Xing Yun met Chu Nan through a blind date.  What she does not know yet was that he was still very much in love with his ex-girlfriend.

She went to the cinema with Che Nan but he ended up snoozing throughout the film.  He then told her that he doesn’t really have the taste for movies as he prepare to watch documentaries.

Xing Yun agreed immediately to watch documentaries with him the next time they go to the movies.  He told her that cinemas do not usually show documentaries.

They had to watch it at home.

She agreed but he looked at her rather meaningfully.

She said would only watch documentaries with him.

She told her friend about going to Chu Nan’s house.

Her friend took her shopping for lingerie immediately.

They met Xia Ke at the lingerie shop and the friend mentioned about her date with Chun Nan.

Xia Ke told her to wait for him and not move as he went to see his ex-wife (?) who wanted him to pay for her purchases.

Xing Yun went to Chu Nan house and was surprised by the presence of his parents who treated her as a beloved future daughter-in-law.

Their enthusiasm somehow repelled Xing Yun so when Xia Ke called she cannot wait to get away to run his errands.

The errands were in a remote golf course.

Poor Xing Yun almost became a victim of human traffickers.

She was later fetched by Xia Ke at the police station.

Unfortunately, her bag containing her house keys was taken by her almost-kidnapper.

She called her parents but they were away in one of many anniversaries.  She then called Chu Nan but he ignored her call as he was his ex-girlfriend.

She was prepared to stay outside their apartment building but Xia Ke was still there watching her every move.

He then took her to his house.

I persevered to watch the first 9 episodes but I have to say I have now lost interest.

I have to say that Xing Zhaolin is drop-dead gorgeous in this drama but he just cannot carry a rather uninteresting storyline.

Bai Lu is very pretty but a role like a scatty girl trying to be cute is not really for her.  She has hardly any chemistry with Xing Zhaolin as well because her being an ingenue is not believable.

But my greatest gripe is that the better story went to the second lead characters while Xing Yun and Xia Ke had become a supporting role.

Xia Ke’s sister (I thought she was his ex-wife) was an ex-girlfriend of Chu Nan, who wanted to marry Xing Yun to use her to mollify his mother who was not happy that his ex-girlfriend was divorced with a child,

Chu Nan was so in love with his ex that he thought he would marry Xing Yun and then promptly divorce her so he can then get together with his ex-girlfriend.  His mother would not be able to hinder his relationship as he will be a divorced man.

His plan did not come into fruition because Xing Yun saw him being amorous with his ex-girlfriend in front of the hospital.

Again Xing Yun did not say anything, not made a scene for being fooled. She was calm and broke up with Chu Nan.  Boring!

Now, the ex-girlfriend’s ex-husband had suddenly turned up and he had insinuated himself in the life of his son and ex-wife.

Suddenly ex-girlfriend does not want to talk to her brother Xia Ke.

The ex-girlfriend looks like to be in peril with her rather suspicious ex-husband.

Really, it is all about them.

So I say, this drama owes me a good story of first love and I am not getting it.
