This is a comedy drama. It is fun and interesting. And absolutely quirky. Love it.
It started with Prosecutor Lee Seon-woong with Chief Kim In Joo trespassing in a forbidden military zone to fish.
The police rounded up the fishermen and there were a lot of them.
Chief Kim would rather escape than get caught so he braved a 2.8km swim to the opposite shore. He was well prepared as well as he had a few oysters to keep him going.
Prosecutor Lee was not so brave and got arrested.
After he a blotter by the police, he was let go but a police chief recognised him and insisted that he should be given a police escort to return to the municipal hall.
And this is the Jinyeong District where there are 12 prosecutors including the chief.
Prosecutor Lee was being disciplined but got the lightest of penalties because Chief Kim In Joo who is present and well was afraid ProLee will squeal on him.
PLee works under the Criminal Department 2 which is headed by Cho Min Ho. He is recently divorced and looks after himself. He exercise religiously in tight lycra which scandalised women especially Prosecutor Oh Yoon Jin.
Oh Yoon Jin is a working mother and works for the Violent Crime Unit but at present time a new baby is more frightening.
Prosecutor Hong Jong Hak thought he was lucky having won 20,000 on lottery. To date he had spent more than 30,000 hoping to get the big prize.
Then there was Kim Jung Woo who is still a rookie prosecutor and being trained by PLee himself.
Kim Jung Woo is into social media/selfie and often would not do anything before he had taken his photo.
To help the group were two investigators Jang Man Ok who is so impressive, they think she knows everything.
And there was Lee Jung Hwan, a very easy going man who always wanted to please everyone.
Then the office assistant who goes on with her job without saying much but the occasional word or two.
Loving it.
There is a legendary room within the Jinyeong Prosecutors’ Office. It was room 309, where the occupier (prosecutor) do not last. It had change occupier eleven times already. They said that the room is haunted the sound of clicking high heels can be heard. This has something to do with an unsolved case of a little girl wearing her mother’s high heels who disappeared by the seawall. The heels were found but never the girl.
Chief Kim said that he was thinking to make 309 as a yoga room where anyone can go and relax with ambient music.
But it looks likes 309 will have a new occupant.
