Episode 1
It started with family called the Lockes inheriting a mansion in Matheson, Massachuset after the head of their family was slained by his former pupil who wanted to know more about the Key House..
It so happened that Nina and her children were forced to move to the mansion they inherited called the Key House.
They were met by Duncan Locke, the younger brother of Rendall, the dead husband of Nina.
Duncan was loved by the children Tyler, Kinsey and Bode.
The house was beautiful and grand, with an extensive library, a beautiful staircase, beautiful location and the garden was breathtaking.
Little Bode could not wait to have a look around. He found a locked well. He was tiny enough to squeeze through bar fencing to get to the well.
He was so enchanted at the mystery of the dark well. So he started shouting to it and echo returned back at him which spooked him because it was of a woman and telling him that she was his echo.
Bode told the family about the monster in the well but as they could not find it they ended up laughing it off.
The family started to get used to their new surrounding including Tyler and Kinsey going to the local school. Unfortunately, the death of their father had traumatised them they were finding it hard to mingle and be friendly and behave like the happy go lucky teen-agers that they are.
Nina was to go to the hardware store but Bode decided to stay alone in the house. Stange that Nina would allow this afterall they have just moved.
Anyway, while his family was all away, Bode went back to the well to speak to the echo once again.
The echo asked if he had found the keys hidden in the house. The keys were magical! They can open doors to anywhere you wanted to go, to see anyone you want to see, etc.
With this in mind, Bode heard through his sister’s bracelet a humming noise. Kinsey was in the bathroom and Bode found a key imbedded in her bracelet. He found a door which the key fitted. He wished for ice-cream and sure enough, when he opened the door, it was to an ice-cream parlour. He was so happy.
He got back in and met his sister who noticed that her bracelets had been broken by Bode. She was so annoyed because her father gave it to her.
Bode said that he found a key and showed her the ice-cream that he can go anyway with the key. Bode asked her where she wanted to go. He fitted the key to the door again and expected to see the Eiffel Tower as Kinsey requested but when he opened it, the closet was just a normal one.
No one believed him.
Bode was in the kitchen when he heard a humming by the sink. He stuck his hand through the plug hole and pulled up a key.
He used the key and this time he got spooked. His mother found him standing by the door which turned into a full-length mirror. She saw her reflection which was so seductive, she went through the mirror and got trapped. They were countless versions of her in the room.
Bode went to find Echo at the well who told him that she will tell him what to do but he had to give her the anywhere-key.
As soon as he gave it to her, she was gone.
Bode went back to find his mother and by this time both Tyler and Kinsey were home. He told them what happened to their mother and the spooky mirror.
Tyler was tied with a long rope so they can pull him back once he had rescued their mother.
Tyler did manage to rescue her. But when they asked her what happened, she had no memory of it all.
Did they rescue the right person? Was she their mother?
Intriguing stuff.
