Episode 1

Mok Hae Won was a cello teacher in an academy in Seoul.  She quickly lost her faint in teaching and in herself as a teacher due to a series of unfortunate happenings including when sheended up having to hit an abusive student.

The mother of the student complained and ended up beating Mok Haw won up and still expect her to apologize.

So she went back to  Bookhyun Village, in Gangwon Province during the winter.  She went to stay with her aunt who inherited Hodu House from her grandmother.

Her aunt was not exactly welcoming but tolerated her thinking that she was only visiting for a short while.

She told her aunt that on the contrary, she hoped to stay indefinitely or at least till the spring.,  She said that she quit her job.

Her aunt said that she should not just easily quit a career.

Hae Won started fixing the inn up after noticing that they seemed not to get any visitor.

At first, her aunt allowed her what she wanted to do but then someone actually called to enquire about a room.

Her aunt told her then that she had canceled her license as an innkeeper a year ago.

Hae Won was rather shocked.

She went out for a walk crying that night.

She met again an old high school classmate. Im Eun Seob, who now ran a bookshop called Good Night Bookshop.  He was also a blogger to a secret Good Night club and often talked about Irene, the girl of his dream, who happened to be Hae Won.

Anyway, Hae Won asked him why he called his bookstore, Good Night?

He said that Easting and Sleeping are not really easy to do but if you master that then you can have a good sleep and a good life.

Anyway, they started to become awkward friends.

It so happened that it was their high school reunion.  Eun Seob asked her if she wanted to go. she said she did not mind.

They have a happy time at the reunion, meeting all friends.  They got talking about crushes during high school and Eun Seob was put on the spot.

Lee Jang Woo teased Eun Seob that if he won’t talk then he will reveal who it was himself.

Eun Seob said, “Mok Hae Won” was his crush.

Everyone was surprised including Hae Won herself.

Luckily for Eun Seob, a baby of their friends seemed to have vanished from his pushchair, it became a pandemonium for a while.

Anyway, when they got back home, Hae Won could not get to sleep so she went to knock at the bookstore.

A flustered Eun Seob told her as soon as he opened the door that what he said at the reunion was old news.  It was a long time ago,  He was over her, he doesn’t have any feelings for her anymore, he then shut the door on Hae-Won’s face, who was really surprised.

I must say the leads are so good.  They even looked so natural as high school students.  I am loving this first episode.  It shows that though you are in love, it is not always a bed of roses, it could be so awkward.
