Oddbox – Veg & Fruit Delivery

I first heard of Oddbox on Facebook. I was intrigued by its name Oddbox. To my understanding, Oddbox got its name from the kind of vegetables and fruits that it provides its customers. They are those that would not really pass the stringent criteria of many supermarkets.
The fruits and vegs Oddbox provides are those which are slightly smaller than what is the norm, those which are slightly misshapen or those with not so perfect colouration.
Anyway, there is really nothing wrong with these fruits and vegs except for being the ugly ducklings as far as consumers are concerned.
But then again, Oddbox had this brilliant idea that these ugly ducklings are really wasted for nothing after they had been given careful nurturing by farmers, growers and agriculturists.
There are three million tonnes of these fruits and vegs that are wasted even before it leaves the growers and yet there are plenty of people who are starving or who would be that particular about the shapes of their favourite vegs and fruits.
Anyway, I decided to order my first box two weeks ago. I was one of the lucky few because Oddbox was inundated with orders, they have temporarily halted their ordering system and delivery.
