Episode 1

What can I say?

I am not happy with this drama.  The first episode fails to grab me. In fact, it repelled me.

It is idiotic and full of contradictions.

It started with both Jiao Yang and Lin Mao running in the same direction and trying to enter the same building but on a different timeline.

Suddenly the sky went grey and then a blinding light which seemed to have created electromagnetism over the metal handles of the glass door of the building.

Lin Miao was catapulted into Jiao Miao’s timeline, ten years back from her present time.

Lin Miao ended up on top of the boy, Jiao Yang. She was stroppy at him as if it was all his fault.

They ended up arguing.

Jiao Miao proceeded inside the building, his assistant suited and booted him ready for his first press conference to be introduced as the Vice President of Hong Yu Group.

He was waiting to be introduced when a very confused Lin Miao grabbed him ordering him to help her look for someone called Johnny.

She won’t let go of his shirt and ended up kissing him on the neck leaving a huge lipstick mark on his neck.

They both heard that he was being called to come on to the stage, but Lin Miao instead of letting him go, she pulled open his shirt, breaking the buttonholes..  Why would you do that to a complete stranger?

She is a woman from 2020, she knows how appearance matters so much! Plus the fact that what she was doing was blatant sexual harassment.  What was she thinking?

So I am not liking her at all, plus the fact that she was so horrible in The Story of MInglan. LOL

Then she ended up becoming his assistant because it was her mission.

While everyone was still using Nokia, she found a message on her iPhone that she had to help Jiao Yang to become president of Hong Yu Group within the next three months in order for her to go back to her own timeline.

Then what do you know? It seemed he fancied her immediately.  How ridiculous is that?  She looks like his auntie.

I love Li Hong Yi that is why I watch the first episode immediately but I have to admit I am not loving his hairstyle.  Nope!

I am in two minds whether to drop this drama now!

Episode 2

I had a dream last night which was not really had anything to do with this drama but I woke up thinking that I may have been too harsh.

I have to give this drama a second chance because it is Li Hong Yi after all.  LOL

Jiao Yang is not taking his job and position seriously.  As far he is concerned he is the heir of the hotel and he had employees under him to do their job while he plays his game on the computer and his phone.

But he got into trouble with his father because a good client had booked the hotel for a wedding but nothing was really prepared for the next day’s wedding.  And their ballroom had been booked to someone else.

Lin Miao had an idea to have a rooftop wedding.  They work really hard to transform the rooftop into a magical wedding venue with fairy lights and everything.

The fairy lights had a salubrious beginning.  Lin Miao dragged Jiao Yang into a town centre where she stole the fairy lights lukewarmly helped by Jiao Yang.  No, this drama is getting worse by the minute.

On the actual wedding day, Jiao Yang can’t be found to supervise.  And then as the bride started to walk the aisle the fuse blew leaving the venue in darkness.

There is still that feeling that Lin Miao is taking advantage of a minor.  🙂
