I love Mikako Tabe since that movie, From Me To You with the late Haruma Miura.  I just just find her so charming and engaging.

Anyway, this drama is another likable one.

Mei is a workaholic MR (Medical Representative).  She was so good at her job that she was recently made into a team leader, which she was only half happy about.

You see, Mei had just turned 28 and her friend and mother told her that it was time for her to think about marriage or dating at least.

She was so consumed with her job she had no time for anything else including housework.

She lived in a pigsty.  Her clothes are everywhere, her books were everywhere, her food and leftovers were everywhere, in fact, everything was everywhere.  Because she had no time to do anything other than work, research her the new product she had to endorse and also find out her potential clients.

But once upon a time, it could have been different for Mei.

She came home one day from nursery with a picture she drew.  She ran to her mother telling her what she wanted to become when she had grown up.  She said she wanted to be a mother.

Her mother was aghast. She told Mei that that should the last thing in her mind.  She should not emulate her.  She wanted Mei to be independent and do everything for herself and not to think of others while she was climbing the ladder of success.

Mei was crushed.  But what her mother told her did make an impression on her.

And on her 28th birthday, she had a surprise! And what a surprise.

It was a mature man going through her clothes and holding her bra.

The first thing she did was to find a gold club to smack him with but her younger sister, Yui, turned up and said that he was her birthday present to Mei.  Making her point as she looked around the pigsty of Mei’s house.

Mei was not too sure at first because the man is very mature (old?)

But the next day, she came home to a very tidy house.  She had to check it was her home at first because it was so bright and clean.  And there was food on the table waiting for her.

Still, Mei was not sure, but the man, Nagisa-san, said that her sister had paid for his services for four days so after the fourth day and she did not really want him then the contract was over.

However these two seemed to be soulmates.  Nagisa-san dreamt of being a mother while Mei needed mothering.

Mei actually had more pressing things on her mind.  There was a new rival pharmaceutical firm that had taken away a potential client for her after the many hours she spent preparing for her presentation.  And then she has also to mentor a guy who knew nothing and so slow to learn.

Her car stalled one day and a very personal young man helps her to have her car to get going.  The man was Yuta Tadokoro, who happens to be the Medical Representative to the rival pharmaceutical firm.

Loving it .

They ended up getting married.

He needed to mother someone and she needed mothering.

A match made in housekeeping heaven.
