Quick Precis

Apparently, Zhou Yutong will play Lu Fangning, a successful career woman, who wanted to have it all including a husband and a child.

Luckily she meets Gong Jun’s character, Ling Rui, a warm-hearted doctor.

She then began to scheme her way into his life and heart.

Episode 1

Zhou Yu Tong is perfect as a strong feisty female CEO.  I am loving this drama already even if it only the first episode.  I have to thank the subber Carmon, who also provided the subs for Perfect and Casual.

Anyway the story is that Lu Feng NIng had just taken over as the CEO of Luming Corp from her father. And the first project that she wants to sink her teeth into was called Infinity.

She was trying to get this approved by the directors of the board but they were rather skeptical as they think she hasn’t got the experience of being unmarried and childless.

She was annoyed that this was an issue but her father said that he can see where the board is coming from. Infinity if about family and she hasn’t her own yet.

Feng Ning heard that a female director who is on maternity leave as she just had given birth hold a very strong position and highly regarded by the board.

She told her PA, Gao Er Fan to take photos of her with the director when they visit her in the hospital.

The Director said that she was not going to vote for Infinity but at this time Feng NIng got rather distracted by the cute baby in his cot.  She touched the baby who immediately grabbed her finger.

The Director said that seeing she was getting along fine with the baby then she will leave them for a while sho she could go and smell the coffee.

As soon as the Director had gone, Feng NIng removed her finger from the grasp of the baby, who then started bawling.

Feng NIng did not know what to do.

Thank goodness there was a passing doctor who took charged and told her how delicate the spine of the baby so it should be supported carefully.

Feng NIng was attracted by the handsome and gentle doctor at first sight.

To cut a long story short, Feng Ning thought that she could solve her problem by giving in and get married and have the baby as she did feel rather broody looking at the baby in the hopsital.

So she went back to the hospital and asked the handsome doctor if he wanted to marry her.

Ahhh so cute

Episode 2

Little Aunt shamefully told Ling Rui in confidence that she had lost all money from her divorce settlement and not only that she also ended up owing 4Million RMB and now they wanted her to pay.  She did not know what to do.

Ling Rui is very filial, very family-oriented and told her Little Aunt to leave it to her.

It so happened that the person/company that LIttle Aunt owned the money to was Lu Fang Yu of Luming Group, brother to Lu Fang Ning.

Lu Fang Yu is very immature and went to his sister to say that he can’t collect the money.  Lu Fang Ning scolded him but she does have a soft spot for him although he is a half-brother.

Lu Fang Ning found out that the creditor was Ling Rui.

She arranged a meeting with him and told him that he only had to pay 2M for a one year of marriage with her.

He just looked at her so she upped it to 2.5M and then 3M and final amount 4M.

Ling Rui said that he was not for sale he will find a way to pay the money back.

Episode 3

Lu Fang NIng realised that Ling Rui was just not interested.

She was meeting a director in a hotel restaurant discussing voting for Infinity when Ling Rui walked in to meet his old professor who came him a card to pay his debt.

Ling Rui refused to take it.  He was also rather distracted watching Lu Fang Ning with the other man.

Ling Rui was in the toilet when he heard the man who was with Lu Fang Ning instructing someone to leave a date-rape drug in the penthouse where he would take Lu Fang Ning.

At first Ling Rui thought it was none of his business but he turned his car around and went to rescue Lu Fang Ning in the penthouse.

It seemed Lu Fang Ning did not need rescuing as she had the director in an arm lock.

Anyway, Ling Rui started seeing Lu Fang Ning under a different eye when she got ill with stomach pain but declined to go to the hospital.  Instead, she asked Ling Rui to give her a life to a restaurant where she was going to wine and dine clients despite her pain.

Lu Fang Ning was surprised to find Ling Rui waiting for her.

He then took her home and gave her medicine.  He realised that Miss High and Mighty is actually a vulnerable girl as he carried her sleeping form into her bedroom where he saw a picture of a girl.  Realisation came over him that he actually knew her when they were children.

Lu Fang Ning woke up the next morning with her house tidy, porridge on the pot, and a note saying that it would only for a year.

Ling Rui agreed to a one-year-marriage.

Lu Fang Ning could not wait.  She went to his house where she met Mother Ling, Big Auntie and Little Auntie.  Without any preamble, Lu Fang Ning said that she will be contracted to marry Ling Rui.

Ling Rui glared at her so she quickly said, contracted to be together with Ling Rui for life.

Mother Ling took Ling Rui aside and asked him what was the real score?  How could he marry someone he had only known for five days.

Ling Rui said that Lu Fang Ning does not know yet but they had known each other for a long time and would like to protect her.

Mother Ling said “omg, my son is in love.”

I love this drama.  A very suitable to Perfect and Casual.

I must say I was not a fan of Zhou Yu Tong before but now I am a firm one.  Love her character in this drama.

Episode 4

It looks like Lu Fang Yu has a secret relationship with Little Auntie.  It was Fang Yu who lent her 4M yuan.

Lu Fang Ning’s father went to see Ling Rui at the hospital.  They had a chat and the father was able to see his future son-in-law as a good man who respects his daughter.

The wedding started rather eventful when Tang Tang turned up yet again like a bad smell.

She was still complaining that Lu Fang Ning snatched Ling Rui from her.

A new character is introduced.  It was Cai Si Yu who sorted out Tang Tang misbehaviour.  Wu Man Si was so horrible in Sweet First Love as Ouyang Yuxue that I have yet to forgive or warm to her.  LOL

The wedding was wonderful.

Episode 5

Fang Ning tried to seduce her new husband immediately by plying him with a drink of brandy.

Ling Rui drank the brandy like drinking a shot and to an almost teetotal, the effect was almost immediate.  He drunkenly gave a medical lecture on the heart to Fang Ning and then promptly fell asleep.

A day after the wedding, Uncle Gorgeous Lu Yi Yao turned up.

Fang Ning was pleasantly surprised of his arrival.

Uncle Gorgeous Lu Yi Yao had been away to Sweden for ten years.  He is the one she loves the most in their house.

Ling Rui was surprised that Lu Yi Yao was an uncle because he is so young.

Fang Ning explained that after his parents died, the Lus adopted Lu Yi Yao.  Fang Ning was just a newly born then.

Lu Yi Yao was entranced at the newly born and was absolutely devoted to her despite her strong personality.

Their devotion to one another was making Ling Rui uncomfortable and rather jealous, thus he became clingy towards Fang Ning.

Ling Rui was learning new things about Fang Ning from Lu Yi Yao was too much to bear.

Despite being jealous, Ling Rui was trying really hard not to get seduced by Fang Ning.  He even rolled her into a duvet and tied her up so she could not get into naughty things with him.

Really loving this drama.  Just the thing to replace Perfect and Casual.

Episode 6

Ling Rui went back to the hospital just days after the wedding.  He told his friend, who attended his wedding, not to tell anyone that he’s married and certainly not to whom.  He then took off his wedding ring.

Tang Tang’s father was hospitalised and needed immediate surgery.  She went to see Ling Rui for help; he agreed immediately to do the operation.

Tang Tang was really surprised after all the trouble she had been causing the newlyweds.

A junior doctor misunderstood the situation thinking that Tang Tang was Ling Rui’s girlfriend so when Tang Tang bought everyone a cake, the junior doctor chose the nicest one and left it at Ling Rui’s desk.

It so happened that Fang Ning came to see her new husband who had not been coming home at night because of being busy at work.

She brought him some food but when she got there, he does not only have a cake already on his desk but saw him without his wedding ring.

She was really disappointed with him.

Meanwhile annoying Cai Si Yu was the photographer during Fang Ning and Ling Rui’s wedding.  She overheard and recorded a pre-wedding conversation between Fang Ning and Ling Rui about their contract married of only a year.

Fang Ning quickly realised this and met up with Cai Si Yu and offered her a job at Luming.

Cai Si Yu’s first day at work was eventful. Well, she continuedly to cause accidents where the victim was the gorgeous Yi Yao everytime.

Episode 7

Ling Rui knew that Fang Ning was really upset with him so he took a day off to go and see Fang Ning.

Fang Ning, however, was busy at work and had no time.  She told him that she was going to see him after work. She was surprised when he was still there outside the shop waiting patiently for her.

Fang Yu wanted them to have alone time so he turned off the electricity and locked them in.  The two had to spend the night at the furniture showplace.

They had an answer and question game where Fang Nng asked him if was really into Tang Ping Ping.

He denied it immediately and said that Tang Ping Ping’s father is under his care at the hospital.

In the morning, Ling Rui invited her to get breakfast at the hospital.  They became the centre of attention.  Some bolder nurses wanted to know who Fang NIng was.

Fang Ning also waited for what Ling Rui was going to say.

Ling Rui proudly announced that Fang Ning is his wife. Awww

Though they were getting on. Ling Rui was still fighting shy of sharing a bed with his wife.

Episode 8

Ling Rui and Fang Ning almost slept together but his nose started to bleed.   He realised that Fang Ning had something to do with it.  She had given him two bowls of Soup No 5 which he ate with gusto but causes him the nose bleed and feeling very hot.

He then learned from Fang Ning that her real purpose of marrying was to have a child, a son preferably.

She then told him that he could leave bringing up the baby with her.  She will allow him unlimited visits but one thing she would not allow a woman he remarried to be called ‘mom’.

Ling Rui was absolutely shocked to find out that she would just cast aside him, the father of her baby.

He then told her that he will never sleep with her just to make a baby.

Fang Ning told him fine.  I’ll just make the baby with someone else.

Ling Rui said that if it would come to that then half of everything she owns will be his.

He then went home to his mother.

Fang Ning would not just let him go that easily.

She followed him at his mom; Fang Ning managed to entice her mother-in-law with the thought of holding her grandchild in her arms.

Mother, Big Auntie, and Little Auntie left them to it after poor Ling Rui was forced to drink more aphrodisiac by his mother.

Gorgeous Yi Yao is being hotly pursued by the annoying Si Yu.  Seriously, Si Yu is so pretty but she is giving me a violent reaction.  I wanted to slap her face;  I have not forgiven her, Wu Man Si as Ouyang Qingyue in Sweet First Love. LOL

Episode 9

Really loving this drama.

Anyway, Fang Ning asked Si Yu how to deal with a boyfriend/lover. She confessed that she wanted a baby but her husband refused to sleep with her.

Si Yu was shocked at first because who can resist Fang Ning who is so perfect in every way that even girls are crushing on her.

Si Yu said that she has got the answer. She brought a big file of manga love stories where the lead is a CEO.

Fang Ning worked really hard in enticing and cajoling Ling Rui into having a baby with her.  In the end she got what she wanted or is it?

Ling Rui agreed that they could have a baby and would sleep with her but suddenly she does not know what to do what she really wanted.  She ran away from Ling Rui in their little hotel room getaway.

Meanwhile, Yi Yao’s ex-fiancee suddenly turned up.  She was making the negotiation for Infinity really complicated. This was of course revenge to Yi Yao who dumped her by text days before the wedding. She reckons it was because of Fang Ning.

To confirm her theory, she invited Fang Ning and Ling Rui to dinner.

Episode 10

During the dinner party, Ling Rui overheard Yi Yao and Qin Yu Jiang talking about their past.

Qin Yu Jiang accused Yi Yao that he dumped her because he was never in love with it because he was already into Fang Ning.

Lng Rui signaled tp Fang Ning to pretend to have a stomachache so they could go.

In the office the next day, Fang Nng received notification that Qin Yu Jiang was withdrawing her investment to Infinity.

Yi Yao told Fang Ning to leave the matter to him. He will find another investor.

Meanwhile it was a class reunion with Ling Rui.

The girls were fawning over Ling Rui but as soon as his back was turned, they gossiped about how poor he was in college and how they used to give him their last off clothes,

But this has now all changed as he found himself a rich wife.  They were really insulting about him.

What they not know was that Fang NIng secretly followed Ling Rui and heard everything they were saying about her husband.

She was so annoyed for him.

Episode 11

Ling Rui realised how much Fang Ning needed to become a mother but he thinks he could not be the father so he told her to dissolve the marriage and he would accept that it was all his fault.

Fang Ning changed tactics.  She told LIng Rui that she does not want a baby after all because she could arrange it after the year-long marriage contract is over.

What she needs is marriage as it is beneficial for business.  So they would go back to their original contract.

They then moved to her old flat.

Episode 12-13

Fang Ning had had enough of Ling Rui who was dismissive of her sincerity.

She ‘cooked’ for him and yet he said it was a take-away because he saw the packages and receipt in the bin downstairs.

He then told her to be honest.

She told him that at that minute, she really hated him, he was always thinking about his feelings but what about her and how she feels? She ran off out of the apartment.

He then noticed the bloodied plasters on their kitchen rubbish bin and released that she might have cooked the food and had cuts on her finger for her effort.

When he went looking for her, he just can’t find her.  But Yi Yao found her at the gym tiring herself with her kickboxing.

To make amends, Ling Rui found Qin Yu Jiang and asked her to give Fang Ning and Infinity a chance.  Fang Ning really likes and admires her.

Qin Yu Jiang realised that she was being immature.  She was punishing the wrong person.  She gave the contact of good reliable company to Fang Ning.

She then went to see Yi Yao who was having a nostalgic moment gazing at a photo of Fang Ning.  He quickly tucked the photo in his wallet and went with Qin YU Jiang for a walk.

Qin Yu Jiang more or less told him that she was ready to start or resume their relationship because she still loves him but he was hesitant.

She told him to forget it and started to walk away.

Yi Yao was having a second thought but when he looked for Qin YU Jiang, she was gone.

Meanwhile, Fang Ning saw her photo on Yi Yao’s wallet.  The photo was folded, hiding the other person in the photo.

She then realised that Yi Yao might have a crush on her and started feeling uneasy near him.

He noticed this and began using Cai Si Yu as some sort of substitute girlfriend.

I must admit Ling Rui is gorgeous but Yi Yao is something else.

Fang Ning should go for Yi Yao.  Just divorce Ling Rui and leave him intact with all his ideals.  LOL

Episode 14

Si Yu got her man.  She was officially dating the reluctant Yi Yao.

Fang Ning apologised to Ling Rui for making him uncomfortable.  She said that she will be more respectful of him.

Ling Rui did not like that Fang Ning is now cold and formal towards him.

He was doing everything to get her smiling again.

Yi Yao and Fang Ning were watching the shooting of a film called The Domineering President, the Doctor and Me.  It was terrible and Yi Yao was forced to say “what is this shit”.

Fang Ning, however, was loving it.

Tang Tang happened to see Fang Ning being flirty with Bei Jing, the actor who plays the doctor.

Ling Rui was there like a shot and discouraged the actor from any naughty ideas with his wife.

Episode 15

Fang Ning is now playing it cool and Ling Rui was trying to get closer to her but she was resisting.

He found out that it was her birthday.  He surprised her with a birthday celebration, but she seemed unenthusiastic. She can’t get away fast enough.

Ling Rui asked Lu Fang Yu about Fang Ning’s birthday.

Lu Fang Yu was so shocked that he was talking about his sister’s birthday and still alive.  He said that Fang Ning goes mental every time her birthday occurs.  Her birthday was the day when their beloved older sister passed away.

The love story between Si Yu and Yi Yao is the most tedious.  No chemistry whatsoever.

Episode 16

Ling Rui chasing Fang Ning has borne fruit.

Ling Rui told Fang Ning that he wanted order in their relationship.  He wanted to start from the beginning and he said he wanted to start dating her.

Fang Ning was only too happy to agree.

And started a love up getting to know each other.

Episode 17

But it was too brief when Fang Ning learned that he had an ex-girlfriend who he still keeps in touch with.

Totally annoying Siyu was upset that she was known as Yi Yao’s secretary rather than his girlfriend when they went to see a Noridc Art  Exhibition.

Siyu ended up having a fight with Tang Tang who was vlogging the exhibition.

Tang Tang could not believe that Yi Yao is Si Yu’s boyfriend.  I can’t believe it too.  He is wasted. LOL

Fang Yu confessed to Gao Er Fan that he had been studying ballet for the last ten years and he wanted to make a career out of it.

A paparazzi saw his file and photos.  He printed them and sent it to Senior Lu who went absolutely ballistic.  He tore his tutus.

Fang Ning turned up and told off his dad for being so authoritarian.

Senior Lu realised that he was about to say for Fang Yu to leave.

Fang Ning said that it was not the first time that he said this.  This killed her sister.

Fang Ning took her brother away and told him that whatever he decide she will always support him.
